||Wearing a helmet is a good suggestion. My cousin is apparently a hardcore boarder (I've never met him, i actually just found ou we were related when my grandma told me he was in an accident, but his facebook pics and videos are intense :)) He ran into a girl who was wearing a helemt and broke his nose so bad that it was described as a cracked egg. He also broke both his eye sockets and his skull. They had to take off his face and do a complete 14 hour reconstructive surgery. He had to have his nose taken off and replaced and metal plates put in to hold his eye sockets in place because they were also displaced. If he had been wearing a helmet he wouldn't have gone through this. So I agree with the person wh osaid helmets are advisable and should be worn. Now he is going to have to live with that for the rest of his life...his face is going to look completely different...he will go through emotional trauma, although I hope that he plans on going out to the slopes again, who knows if he will. and he's only 20 years old.

||Alrighty..I kinda fail, been two times on my new board and fell into the rocks twice...stupid snow covered rocks! now on the tip of the TOP of my board, I am missing two pieces of wood, is it fixeable? Can I fix it myself, or is duct tape really the best option? lol. but yeah, could really use some help!

||My mom wouldn't let me buy ANY of my gear last year. It took two months to convince her to let me buy my $60 board. Suck up to them rele bad, clean the house, wash their car, do anything that will suck up to them, then lure them into it. haha, finally after I said it 30-40 times my mom finally realized "its her money, if she wants to waste it then let her". So just try sucking up to them and then just talk to them and be like "mom, dad, I really want this jacket and I am using my own money, will you please hear the voice of reason!?" Yeah, that's my sugestion.
