3/27/2014 12:45:52 PM Being from San Diego I go to the various local breweries on occasion. Ballast Point, Stone, Green Flash, Ale Smith, Roughdraft, Lightning, etc. To those of you that don't think Bananas and beer go well together...I give you this. It smells and tastes just like the name. Not something I drink normally but very good on occasion.
12/17/2013 1:34:28 PM If you follow the comics the walkers become more of nuicance than a threat and the real problems come from the various governor types that they'll eventually run into. I assume the show will continue with this theme. They'll always have run ins with the walkers but competing with other survivors for limited resources is the direction they'll likely continue. If the comics are any indications, the governor is a pussycat compard to some of these guys.
12/19/2012 4:05:31 PM I used this site a couple years back. Stayed in the Mammoth West Condos in the Canyon Lodge area. Places are okay, smallish, but have everything you're looking for and are a short walk to the lifts. Prices vary as do the quality of the units. They manage multiple condo complexes. Also, if you find a place you like do a google search and you may find the owner on VRBO, or something similiar, and get a better deal. Good luck. http://www.mammothmountainvacations.com/
5/2/2012 11:52:32 AM Anyone try the game on xbox, PS3...not real action packed but very cool for fans of the show and comic books. Lots of talking and various tasks you have to complete. The choices you make somehow effect how your character progresses throughout the story. I haven't gotten more than an hour or so in so don't have much more than that at this point. For 400 MSP it's well worth it. This is just the first of five so I assume how you build your character carries on to each of the next 4 games. For those of you that like the show but haven't read the books. The show only covers about the first 2 volumes so far, there are currently 15 volumes with another on the way in June. I highly recommend you get the Walking Dead Compendium on Amazon. It covers the first 8 volumes. Must warn, you'll be addicted. Books are much more gruesome and dark.
4/30/2012 3:27:49 PM Thanks for the info. I picked up a stairmaster 156 for $169 at snowboard connection. Have been looking for a softer traditional camber board for Snow Summit that I can kind of beat up and the price was right. Sale is still on. No tax or shipping in CA, can't beat that.
4/19/2011 11:29:25 AM Last bump...willing to hear reasonable offers but not going much lower than $35.

4/14/2011 11:32:41 AM Selling a slightly used, 6 days, B2 Snow helmet in Black, size Large. Helmet is in like new condition other than a few minor scuffs from storage. Helmet never realized any impact from fall. Selling because I’m actually going to buy the exact same helmet with the audio option and it’s cheaper if I just sell this one rather than purchase the audio option separately. Looking at $35 local pick up or add $7 to $10 for shipping to lower 48. Will ship as cheap as I can and charge actual shipping costs...just not sure how much that will be. Firm on price. No trades. PM if interested. Link to product, I’ll try and add some pictures later or you can PM for pics. http://pro-tec.net/b2-snow-helmet.php •     It’s the matte black one, not the Danny Kass model with the grim reaper on the back.
3/17/2011 12:12:15 PM Thinking of heading up tomorrow and taking my son to Bear. According to the website it's Analog ditch day tomorrow. Any idea what that is? Probably nothing but going on friday to avoid the crowds.
3/16/2011 11:02:57 AM Ha, I had that Look Lamar board...but in bright yellow. Really wierd shape, especially the tail end. My first snowboard...other than the Burton Elite I borrowed and learned on. Anyway, yeah back when I started riding Lamar, the rider and eventually the company, was pretty legit...was surprised when I started riding again recently that they were considered an entry level company. Sims, Morrow, Avalanche, etc were all really good back then and are considered crap now. Anyway, sorry for the thread hijack....that picture brought back some old memories.
3/10/2011 12:49:14 PM Hey ematt13, I tried to respond to your PM but not sure what's up with that thing. Anyway, I found some at the CVS off of Scripps Poway Parkway. My brother found some at the CVS in Tierrasanta. Seems like any CVS is your best bet but you need to dig around because of the 40 or so 2 liters they had only 5 had the mammoth promo. They're out there...if you can't find any hit me up and I might be able to help you out with a couple. I need all I have now but I'm going to check a couple CVS downtown, by my work, and the one by my house again. Good luck.
3/9/2011 5:48:12 PM thanks for the heads up, picked up an iron to add to my da kine kit.
3/4/2011 11:38:40 AM Disregard my last about the coke zero promo, ended up finding them at a CVS by my house. They’re kind of buried in there with the other 2 liters without the promo so you might have to dig a little. Anyway, they’re out there if you need them and CVS seems to be the spot.
3/3/2011 11:39:07 AM Anyone know where I can buy the coke zero 2 liter bottles with the mammoth promo (2 for 1 lift tickets). That deal will save me alot of money since my entire family, and a bunch of friends, will be boarding up there in early april during the week. I haven't been able to find any down here in San Diego. Have a buddy looking in the long beach/huntington beach area. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
2/28/2011 11:27:32 AM Just got back from Whistler and it was -24 celsius, which is around -11 Fahrenheit. Rediculously cold, but it was sunny and clear. Heard at least three people being told to go inside becuase of frostbite. Stuck mostly to the mid mountain area, went up top a couple times and it was windy and pretty much unbearable. Had gotten in 3 days before in fairly mild temps so didn't mind having to avoid the peaks. Keep in mind I'm from San Diego where 50 degrees is considered freezing.
