12/19/2010 5:18:53 PM almost 2 ft long hair is what i have. Had it in a pony tail but that got tangled anyway and i lost what looked like 1/4 of my total hair getting it out. i normally dont ever put up my hair lol so i dunno. i guess a braid's the way
12/19/2010 3:54:18 PM what's your favourite way of keeping your hair while riding? (directed to those who have long hair that just gets everywhere in the wind)
11/10/2010 5:53:31 PM Not really "gear" per say but since there's no maintenance section... has anyone used the brand of ski/snowboard wax called Canwax that's sold on ebay? Any reviews?
10/16/2010 3:37:25 PM Thanks for all the postings. I haven't had THAT much trouble with the board last season. I can maneuver enough to avoid trees and people and the extra length holds great in the end season slush too. Just wanted to know if there was any kind of fine adjustments that COULD ease turning. I guess I'll just have to ride it out until i get good =]
10/14/2010 3:12:32 PM I weigh 123lb. @midget Yea. I know sizing is preference but I still have this nagging fear from the time when the rental guys gave me a 138 2 seasons ago when I was learning how to snowboard. It's also either really icy or really slushy where I am (southern Ontario). I'm just wondering if a bit more responsiveness can be eeked out by adjusting stance. The other simple answer would be I really suck lol.
10/14/2010 2:58:56 PM I have a 2009 Arbor Cadence (just before they switched to the rocker) that is 149 cm long. From the online sizing guides, it says I should be riding a 145. I've ridden this board all last season and I did notice turns were a bit harder to initiate. On the upside, I can always trust the edge not to slip out in front of me (even on those really slushy days in April). Now, I admit I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to adjusting bindings so any help would be appreciated. What I want to do is adjust the stance a bit to make turning easier. I know this board comes with a built in 1.5" setback. My bindings are at 6/15. Thanks in advance.
10/10/2010 3:48:33 PM wax and then not scrape? never heard of that one before... my board has these little divits for air capturing all over the bottom. How much would that slow me down on the hill if i waxed and didnt scrape?
9/24/2010 5:55:23 PM vancouver > whistler. got rich relatives there to mooch off of =D

9/22/2010 5:27:05 AM The rocker roller balance board is a very good tool. You can easily build one yourself using 4" diameter pvc tubing and a plank of wood set to the width of your stance + allowable for feet. I did the rug thing and found it a bit too tiresome in the end XD.
9/22/2010 5:23:04 AM i started with 15/-6. It's what the guy in the snowboard shop recommended. Works fine for me.
9/19/2010 9:14:59 AM I think the canadian govt drains enough money out of ontario and alberta and divvies it up amongst all the other provinces enough XD. Communist Canada. Dec-July is when they have snow?
9/19/2010 9:03:06 AM from what i read arbor makes boards that are on the stiffer side because they still use solid wood cores.
