12/7/2010 12:26:03 AM I figured this would be more organized than sticking it in the "Learn to Snowboard" thread. The title basically explains it. I don't know if the staff will even see this thread, but I thought this would maybe help Doug with some new video ideas and would help get our ideas out so that we can have some of our questions answered in video form, which I think is usually more helpful than plain text. First, I'd like to thank Doug and whoever else does the videos with him for making these (and for those who don't know what I'm talking about; Trusnow Instructional Videos). I know they've helped my riding and helped me learn more about all the other aspects of snowboarding (way more than most of the random youtube videos I've seen). And, as I learn more I end up with more questions, so I guess I'll start the brainstorming (and if you know of a video that does a good job, please post it). -a new waxing/tuning video -something about how a boot should fit and the pros/cons of different laces
12/1/2010 12:41:52 PM Worn once, no scratches, comes w/ an extra lens (idk anything about spy lenses so I won't be able to help you much there), and it's the denim colorway. Looking for $50 shipped OBO
8/31/2010 11:50:31 AM Which do you guys think is better? The reason I'm asking is because Co ski/golf is a pretty far drive for me, but I've heard that they have better things. Sniagrab last year was disappointing for me, so I'm wondering if I just went too late or if ski rex really is better
8/30/2010 11:57:09 PM So I tried get on SS.com on two days ago, then yesterday, then again earlier today and every time I got a 404 error message saying that SS was doing maintenance.. I thought something was weird so I googled it and got to the forums.. Everything works fine now, except when I click the snowboard tab, it sends me to the 404 error page... Is anyone else having a similar problem?
8/4/2010 8:32:45 PM 2 for 1 Season Pass Deal ^ there are all the details, but hopefully this helps someone out. Even if you have a WF account, keep asking all the bankers, someone's bound to let you open another account. And also, it's the adult Super Pass, so it'll be $409 then one free
7/24/2010 11:38:14 PM At first, I though verizon had been taken over by nazi's, but it turns out that every major phone company is doing the same thing.. they're requiring a data plan (even for "multimedia phones" that can't do half the things smart phones can).. I read through other phone forums and this happened a long time ago, but what the hell...... I was wondering whether any of you found a way to get around the required data plan and if there's anything I (or we) can do to change this
7/14/2010 1:12:25 AM idk if you guys have seen this.. but WATCH IT if you've ever played or know anything at all about mortal kombat.. i'd be so pumped if they actually made this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs3ROFNxa5M
7/2/2010 1:35:46 AM Burton 2L Gore-Tex Shelter Jacket and Pant. Both in size medium, Jacket is black, Pants are Mocha Hydro Camo. These are BRAND NEW w/ tags. They're a friends who was wondering how much he could get for them b/c he's in dire need of some money. He said he would like around 400 shipped for the pair of them. PM me w/ any thoughts or offers (friend doesn't have pics of them, but they literally are brand new so you can just google it and that's what it is). Thanks for looking EDIT: I'll make it a little easier lol
6/22/2010 4:35:20 PM Title says it all, I'd prefer fire or vr28 black iridium, but let me know what you have EDIT: I'm a dumbass, i meant lens
6/21/2010 11:39:05 PM Brand new.. literally (was a gift, but I'm not digging the blue).. comes w/ the carrying case, clear ish (i'm not qutie sure at this point.. maybe vr50..? b/c it's not completely clear) lens, blue frame, etc etc, here's the pic Looking for 50 shipped (in the cont. US), make offers Edit: If you're in or near aurora, colorado, you can come pick it up and i'll take off some amount for shipping
5/3/2010 7:26:29 PM After reading through the thread about how the big Burton guy stepped down, it got me thinking about our (America) economy as a whole? I've heard the opinions and analyses on TV and online, I've heard teacher/professors explanations, but there are so many possible explanations. I just wanted to know what everyone's opinions were. What do you think is the cause of the economic shit-hole we're in right now? What's the best way out of it?
4/30/2010 9:48:24 AM Hey guys, I'm really not in too much of a rush to get my free t-shirt code.. but I've hit 200 a few days ago and no pm's/e-mails.. I'm just a bit confused as to what's going on.. could I get some clarification? no one else seems to have had this problem.. Thanks! Edit: ok, a decent amount of people seem to be having this problem
4/30/2010 3:43:52 AM Last season was my first actual season of snowboarding.. I unfortunately didn't have enough for a season pass so I lived off of coupons to loveland and a-basin. I was looking into season passes for this year and the 5 mountain pass seems to be the most popular. But, is it worth the extra money to get the Vail/Beaver 10-day pass? And, is it even worth it to pay the extra $20 to get the pass that includes Breck or would you say Keystone is more than enough? Also, what are some opinions on the copper/winter park pass vs the 5 mountain? Thanks guys Oh and the price comparisons are based on the teen price
4/26/2010 11:02:35 PM I realize that these are all just step up's price wise, but I was wondering whether it was really worth the extra money. I currently have cartels (I might just sell them to a friend who really wants them though) but I was thinking of maybe just saving up some money and going w/ something else.. I'm a beginner-ish rider (im getting better) and I'm planning on riding all-mountain w/ the jumps from the runs and not much park stuff. Which of these bindings is the best for value/quality/performance? Also, is it true that newer snowboarders should avoid co2's and c60's b/c they're so stiff?
4/26/2010 4:15:00 PM If anyone has either black (preferably) co2's or orange cartels in size L, I'd love to buy them from you as long as they're new or in good condition. Please give me a reasonable price. If you have green forces too, PLEASE PM me (not you IceCoast lol). If you're also interested in a trade, I have brand new 2010 out of the box cartels in white size large. Let me know, thanks guys
