12/7/2013 8:52:15 PM Cheers as always ipp. I've stayed at ks before. Best backpackers I've been to and it's cheap as well. Love it there. But they're booked out for 24 on wards unfortunately. I'll keep on them weather updates before booking then. :)
12/7/2013 12:32:47 AM Hey ipp So would you say that booking a trip for hakuba for 22-30th dec would be a risky choice? I'm not after heavy pow or anything. Just a quick getaway to the snow but I'd like enough to do the whole mountains. Oh and does anyone know if resorts are open Christmas Day? And if bars etc are open in hakuba then? And 1 last thing! I'm planning my first few days at kshouse but want to go closer to the heart of hakuba for the other half. Any recommendations for a cheap backpackers? Share etc. Cheers as always ip.
10/12/2013 6:20:03 AM Cheers guys.  Have a longer edit but it doesn't want to upload to the net because its too big file wise.  Love the views over there. Didn't really get to see much of it last trip to NZ because i was at Methven but yer. So spectacular.  I didn't convert the gopro files properly i think, hence why some are at 720p instead of 1080, although i filmed at 1440p.... Yer I think so. Bungee/bungy was 43m drop and the swing was a 60m drop 300m swing/arc. so massive. This site wont let me upload any more pictures for some reason. Man this forum is broken to bits now...
10/10/2013 12:42:52 PM [FLASH WIDTH=720 HEIGHT=1280]https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=10153317912915346" width="1280" height="720" frameborder="0"></iframe>[/FLASH] https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10153317912915346&set=vb.742595345&type=3&theater Hey guys,  Finally get to post my own video onto this thread.  Been a long time coming! Theres not that much snowboarding in it to be honest as I was enjoying it too much to be worrying about filming.  I went to NZ with a mate in August, hit up Cardrona, Treble cone, Remarks, Coronet, probably 10 days in total. Loved it heaps. I think i've progressed much better this time as well. No where near the likes of you ski bums thou.  Also did the bungee, worlds largest swing and luging while we were in Queenstown. Great place and oh so beautiful. Recommend going there just for the site.  **Can't figure out the embedding for 'facebook' videos. sigh. I just be stuffed uploading it onto youtube.  Link should work for the public thou. :D
9/29/2013 6:14:06 AM I hate this site at the moment. I can't post without it crashing on me half the time. No wonder lots of people have stop using the forums of late.
9/29/2013 6:10:56 AM It actually does at the bottom of the page when you enter. Haven't entered in ages so i don't know if the counter still works or not thou.  I've seen it posted 2x on facebook.  But yer, i do think at times that it may be a waste of time. Then again... they do have a butt load of cash behind them now.  They went under!?!? I didn't know that. Very sad to hear.  I was considering to change to one, it has its merits over GP on some aspects.  And i think sony is far from being a solid competitor to GP, I've tried it but wasn't too impressed after using the GP3 black in protune mode.
9/22/2013 8:34:07 PM Is it just me or ins't the design very similar to Android/windows?  I personally don't see any major changes...
9/10/2013 2:27:51 AM Mountain board + motor? awesome.  Should prototype one like this but Freebord style with the 2 extra wheels in the middle.
8/7/2013 11:47:14 PM The 85 1.8's are really quick in auto focus, both canon and nikon. Good lens for any beginner at a relatively small price. Perfect lens for portraits and stuff like that. BUT i don't think that its a great choice for sports, especially if you want to do moto stuff. I don't think the range is big enough, even with the 1.6x crop factor. You don't get to move around much because of the limited space/barriers at those events either, so you'd have to take a few shots, move then wait a lap before you can get more. Where as if you have a zoom, you can get several different shots just by zooming in and out.   Just my 2 cents.  Oh and with your bike shots, a cool trick is if you get parallel with the straight and take a shot of the bike (with around 1/50th of a second shutter speed) and pan with the bike. If you get it right, you should get a decently sharp photo of the bike but with a blurred background. It gives it a feel of speed/movement.  I suck at explaining things, especially on the net... but heres an example from google images.
8/3/2013 1:11:39 AM Showing my friends your vids, so he can polish up before NZ in a weeks time. :D
7/31/2013 1:44:11 PM You will need to take the training course so that you can be certified. where they offer this varies. there are 2-3 levels as well. Each level allows you to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced courses..Pay isn't all that great, not gonna get rich doing it but enough to live.[/QUOTE] I've looked at quite a few of them before but have no idea which company to go with. Are they all internationally recognised? They are around $11000 for 8-10 week courses which is fine but I'm unsure if you even get a job at the end of them. And does anyone know how hard it is to secure a job afterwards?
7/31/2013 3:26:33 AM ^^Hoarders?
7/30/2013 11:10:26 PM How else will i show people that i earn shtook loads if i'm not driving a BMW/Merc/Porsche etc  Made redundant at work today but the company wants to keep me on next week and maybe the week after and the next. I don't get it am i jobless or not?  Not that i care, need a career change anyway but most of going to New Zealand in 11 days! Anyone know much about a career as a snowboard instructor?
7/29/2013 5:36:07 PM You got pretty tough competition selling die cuts here. "Odoyale rules" sells die cuts on here already and has a pretty good rep.
7/25/2013 10:59:56 PM Hey odoyale how long would it take for you to make a few decals and have it shipped to Aus express? I'm heading to Nz in 2 weeks time (11th Aug) and wanted to spice up my board and helmet.  A few large ones to go width ways across my board and a few smaller ones for my helmet.  Cheers!
