1/25/2011 11:38:34 PM Only wore them once on the mountain. They are just a little too big for me, still have the box. Basically new, no noticeable scratches. $120 if your in the Tri-state area we can work out something as I would rather not ship them but we'll see.
12/4/2010 1:27:03 AM Never had a problem with a order from Sierra but TruSnow... umm yeah sooo ordered two items...both supposedly in the same package... so one item wasn't in there, got charged for both...the other sold out while it supposedly was on its way...uuuuhhhhh yeah. Oh yeah, did I mention I got charged for both? New warehouse staff gotta step up and say something before they ship if all the crap ain't in the box b/c basically all I have for proof of this now is the fact that the box it was shipped in could never have fit both items despite the fact that the manifest lists both items. Already emailed support... just wanted to let everyone know if you are eying a product and there are four or less left there is a good chance it's already gone and they might ship you the invisible version of the product! TruSnow..Job?
11/8/2010 8:46:04 PM Tried both on today liked both of them maze was lighter but mutiny was equally comfortable and cheaper kind of torn between them. I own anon figments as well. any opinions?
11/3/2010 8:10:46 PM anybody own anything with the "tokyo lights" pattern on it from Burton last year and if you do, do you like the pattern still or are you sick of it? also how flamboyant is it b/c I'm thinking of picking up the gear bag with this pattern or just go for boring old black?
11/2/2010 1:32:30 PM need the brain trust on this one: so I found a decal for the number 4 train on the subway pulled off and sitting on the platform rather than let it get swept up and thrown away I wanted to see if anyone had any good ideas for how I can get it to stick properly on my board ie is there like a clear sticky tape that will hold in all conditions, a glue or something of that nature so that I can call my new board "The 4 Train" (which is the express) thanks.
9/23/2010 11:26:14 AM got this at 6am in my message box, some obvious ID theft attempt on this site: Subject: hello Sent: Today at 6:49am Sent by: ami11 Group: Lift Op. hello Dear it give me a great pleasure to write you after viewing your profile which really interest me to have communication with you, my name is miss Ami sani, i will like to have a good communication with you i believed that we can click together and see what will happen in feature because is only a day that people know and become friends please i will like you to send an email to my direct email address ( amisanigp@yahoo.com ) not in this site and we can exchanged picture to know more about each order, Ami. no prior posts and brand new account... this stuff common here or something new to watch out for?
8/24/2010 8:43:07 PM looking for a good site or if you got a good one post it. 1920x1200 res if possible
8/16/2010 8:42:15 PM so I went to the Burton flagship store with the intent of trying on the Ruler boots they didn't have any in stock so i tried on Ion size 12's and they fit well but just couldn't drop 350 on my first set of boots so I ordered size 12 rulers they arrived and appear to be slightly more snug in the toe. my big toe in the inner boot shows slightly on the outside of the inner boot. they are not uncomfortable, just can't seem to fully extend my big toe completely comfortably "out of the box" My question is this: I'm pondering going to go get them heat molded and putting pressure on the back of the heel with my foot along with the toe cap to try and solve this. will this work or is this wishful thinking and I should just go up to the size 13.  all I seem to need is about 1/2 a centimeter my big toe to fit perfectly. will this boot pack out enough? thanks
7/27/2010 11:29:19 PM well I wish I could get  my first set of boots on Sierra but alas there are no size 12 or 13s anywhere in sight... going to the Burton flagship store in NYC (I know boo Burton but they are close and I most likely ain't going to buy from them unless they match online prices). I've been looking at the Burton Ruler but the DC store is right next door so I'm going to swing by there and see what they offer too. I'm looking for a good beginner boot, probably an all mountain boot not really into park stuff, I like speed so probably something stiffer I'm guessing.  Any words of wisdom? Recommendations of what to look at in the DC store?
7/6/2010 9:00:20 AM Just curious to hear from some more experienced riders if a heavier board has any significant effect on stability at speed or if the lighter the board the better is always the case...
6/22/2010 2:25:07 PM picked up a sick deal today on craigslist http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/spo/1801647750.html (has since expired but it is a black salomon rolling snowboard bag for 20 bucks got that and a nice helmet for 30 bucks total... anyone have any tales of great buy/disaster stories from craigslist/ebay?
4/11/2010 6:10:51 AM got a LTR ticket w/ optional lesson for 2010 which expires at the end of the month and I'm on the east coast so your gain. I'm trying to put together a setup for my brother so if you have some old board gear or winter gear your not using. let me know what you've got and if it sounds good I'll email you the code.
4/10/2010 5:17:19 PM bought a burton board on the east coast w/ a 2010 LTR lesson and free lift ticket expires end of april. Not much good to me on the east coast. so best piece of old gear you got that you want to get rid of so I can put a board/winter weather outfit together for my brother and I'll send you the code and serial.
3/25/2010 6:08:19 PM Is anyone there from this site representing there? my brother qualified and is there learning to ski there (i know, i know i tried to talk him into boarding). he went out on day two but cashed so now he's just skiing for the next two days guess I need to try and qualify next year.
