10/22/2010 6:47:53 AM No idea bro but nice vid anyways. Need one of those cameras this season for sure!
10/22/2010 6:46:14 AM Gopro looks like the one. Anyone got any info on where to get it cheap or know of any online coupons ect?
10/22/2010 6:36:29 AM I'm glad the sale has finally gone through and am hoping that we can see the changes soon instead of just imagining clicking through the endless supply of new goods. Looking forward to it.
10/22/2010 6:34:25 AM Anyone who thinks that punishment is the most effective way of motivating a child is crazy. It is no where near as effective as positive reinforcement when done correctly. If you are really interested in the different methods out there then research concerning childhood development has basically broken parenting down into 4 styles. Authoritative parenting, Authoritarian parenting, Permissive parenting, and rejecting-neglecting or disengaged parenting. Basically the latter 3 are not viewed as "ideal" styles of parenting (you can probably look them up on wikipedia or something as i can't be bothered typing in all the info) and Authoritative parenting is seen as the ideal balance between being both strict and supporting with optimal outcomes for kids. Authoritative parenting. Parenting style: Authoritative(High in demandingness and high in supportiveness). Typical parent characteristics: Set clear standards and limits for their children and are firm about enforcing them. Allow their children considerable autonomy within those limits. Are attentive and responsive to their children’s concerns and needs, and respect and consider their child’s perspective. Typical child characteristics: Competent. Self-assured. Popular. Able to control their own behavior. Low in antisocial behaviors in childhood. In adolescence: high in social and academic competence and positive behavior, low in problem behavior. It's a lot easier to define then to do so good luck.
10/20/2010 4:32:15 PM Thanks Doug but when can we expect the new site to be launched?
10/20/2010 4:52:04 AM Starting to wonder if the new website will ever be done... Anyone have any news?
10/19/2010 3:32:25 AM Ippy's pretty spot on. I don't like Roppongi personally but that's probably because I lived in japan for so long and i must admit i did love it when i first went there... It is probably the easiest place to go out in and you can walk in and out of free clubs pretty easily and do the night on the cheap. Having said that, expect to pay to get into any club half decent and there are also ok places in roppongi which of course you pay to get into. Meet some nice girls and I'm sure they can tell you all about it Have a walk around Shibuya at night for sure, pretty cool. Sat night is best to be out. For me I would head to an izakaya (japanese style pub) where you can get food and also an all you can drink plan (depending on venue) to get my drink on and then hit the clubs around 11ish. like ippy said be sure to head to harajuku on sunday to watch all the kids dress up like you have never seen before. Also, if timing works out Tsuji fish market is pretty special so if you can wake up really early (be there by at least 8 if i remember correctly) you can check out all the action and eat some of the freshest seafood in the world. 3 days is more than enough, Tokyo never sleeps so you will be hard pressed to be bored but too long there and it will all be a bit repetitive.
10/18/2010 12:51:29 AM Make sure you check out the Sierra video guides about selecting the right board- very helpful. I would also recommend one of the Sierra boards (what about the reverse crew?) as at $200 they are great value. Also, you can pick up a 2011 Rome Garage rocker for $300 on this site. A lot of tech in the board for the price!
10/18/2010 12:46:27 AM After much deliberating about what to do I just punched though a hefty order yesterday. Thought it would be better to make the most of the free international shipping while it lasts. I guess in 2 days i will know if it was a good move or not!
10/18/2010 12:43:14 AM Are there any major differences between mounting the camera on a helmut and using a headstrap to take shots? What do most people do? I don't ride with a helmet and don't really want to change that... What has been most successful for you?
10/18/2010 12:37:17 AM Hey guys. Just wondering about mounting the cam on helmet vs. using a headstrap. After seeing how sick the videos turn out I'm looking to grab a camera for the upcoming season but I don't wear helmets. Are there any major advantages/Disadvantages using or not using a helmet and what are your experiences? Thanks guys!
10/18/2010 12:30:57 AM Hey guys thanks for all your help on picking the right board size. In the end I was going to get the new evo 155cm but ended up finding a used 153cm evo from last season that was dirt cheap so I snatched it up and am going to get the Capita Charlie Slasher (with the savings) for those pow days so I don't sink. Really stoked!
10/17/2010 4:27:53 AM Tight little vid bro! Makes me really wanna get out there. Unfortunately it will be 1 1/2 months before i see snow!
10/17/2010 4:13:05 AM Just walked out of Resident Evil 3D. Some really good effects and worth seeing but just not as hack and slash like the others Avatar hands down. Watched it first time blazed and man that ish was crazy. Watching it normal the second time was also still good.
10/17/2010 4:08:28 AM hahahaha! but why is lube for kitties?
