10/13/2010 9:00:58 PM Hi guys. One of my good friends invited me to come stay with him in Munich to shred this season so am definetly considering it. He has an apartment 10 minutes from down town munich and is also a great shred buddy + plus sides. On the other hand I don't really know much about riding Munich or Germany for that matter so need some help! What kind of riding can I expect to be doing while staying in Munich? Tearing up the alps likely? or just booting around on resorts. I'll be riding park for 2 months prior to heading to Munich so I'm really looking to shred pow (unless i get told munich is too good and then I might just head there for a couple of months What are some good places to shred and what are the costs involved in riding? How much are lift tickets and or season passes? My buddy only just moved to Munich from Japan at the end of the JPN shred season so he doesn't have a car. What are transport options/costs like? Maybe I'll see some of you there! Thanks guys
10/11/2010 5:16:20 AM Hey guys. I'm still tossing up between a new Never Summer evo/revolver and Arbor Westmark, leaning towards the NS evo/revolver atm so thanks to all who gave me info before. Atm I'm not sure between the NS evo and revolver as I'm trying to figure out which board would fit me better. I'm 178cm tall, 145-155lbs and wear a size 10 boot atm(although I'm 11 in normal shoes). I've always rocked either a 157 or 158 but really want to size down this season. NS Evo 153 has a 24.35 waist width NS Evo 155 has a 25.1 waist width NS Revolver 153 has a 26.0 waist width I'm looking for a board for about 80% park and 20% powder (possibly 50/50 next season) and want to size down but don't want to sacrifice performance. Do you think the 24.35 on the evo 153 is too smaller waist width and I would be better on a 155? Also, is the 26.0 waist on the revolver 153 overkill and are there any problems/sacrifices with having a too wider width? Another consideration is that the revolver is harder to find so help on both boards appreciated. I've read ippy's guide and am just trying to get all the info I can as focusing on park instead of pow, sizing down, rocking reverse camber, and actually getting a board that fits properly is all new to me. I appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks guys!
10/8/2010 12:39:05 AM Anyone been to the High Cascade Snowboard Camp in NZ and if so how was it? Might not have as longer mid-year shred next year so thought it might be a good way to pack mayhem, fun and learning into 9 days. Any experiences?
9/29/2010 5:50:26 AM Hey guys. I'm torn between the new Never Summer Revolver/Evo and Arbor Westmark for this season and just wanted to know what you guys think about the two? Has anyone had a chance to demo either board? I've seen some reviews on the NS board but I've found pretty much zero info review-wise on the westmark which seems damn strange seeing as how its such a fine looking board and the list of tech claimed by arbor is pretty long...
