2/24/2012 9:03:37 PM UFC 144, anyone here going? I'll be there but goddamn if it isn't early. 10 am in the morning on Sunday. From what I've read, a lot of people plan to party in Tokyo on Saturday night (clubs in Japan close ~5-6am) and then head to Saitama Sunday morning. I hope the crowd isn't too dead... But I can't blame them. Calvin Harris @ Vision Saturday night for me. Gonna die after the all nighter but I'm pumped for UFC 144. Edgar, Rampage(even though he F'ed up his weight), Sexyama, and Okami! Gonna be awesome.
1/16/2012 4:03:55 AM If y'all come to Japan, you too could snowboard with the awesomeness that is ippollite. Hahaha...sorry, had to...kinda sad I didn't take pics in the pow areas.
1/10/2012 4:43:42 AM 21 is long as heck and a waste of time if you're looking to have fun boarding/skiing. However, it's got some really nice scenery and it's a long and relaxing ride down. Maybe it'll be nice as a last run or if you're with your family. As for me, I quite liked 13-22-30. But I only rode 22 once cus I'm stupid and I kept forgetting if 22 was left or right...so for some reason I kept going to 23. 23 is def a lil more brutal than 22. Schneider was kinda fun but I don't remember doing Utopia. For advanced riders, I would say 16-19 or 18-17 and then getting the lift back up would be a good idea. Everything else, you have to take the gondolas.
1/3/2012 6:27:05 AM This link might help you decide which software to use. http://data-recovery-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ Yours could be a lot of the following... damaged files, power failure, bad sectors, unbootable hard drives, partition was changed/deleted
Recovers Files from Recycle Bin Damaged Files Virus/Power Failure Disks with Bad Sectors Format/FDisk   Restores from Unbootable Hard Drive   Partition was Changed/Deleted
1/3/2012 4:30:18 AM Not as bad as you but once I accidentally deleted all my files from my external. I used GetData Recover My Files and got all the files back. I've also used it once before to get files from an external that wouldnt show up in windows explorer. But yea, if you physically messed up the hard drive, your best bet is to take it in to a professional. But it's expensive so DEFINITELY try a recovery program first. There are some free ones out there. The good ones are a little expensive... and while I don't encourage it, you could find the good ones on certain sites...
12/23/2011 1:20:11 PM Saw a few romes and capitas when I was at shiga kogen last year. Skate bananas and pickles are sort of common.  My bro-in-law has like 3 salomon boards...but he's the only one I've seen with one. yonex and death labels are usually well represented. But yea, burton is by far the most common.
10/28/2011 6:12:36 AM Best comparison ever. And I personally don't think helmets look too bad. My G10 looks pretty sleek
10/18/2011 6:33:11 PM I like how you were double racist(yay, new word!) by implying all Asians are the same and that all Asians are cold heartless bastards. I live in Japan and I've traveled to more countries in Asia that I can count (Okay, I lie...its around a dozen or so) and this is so total BS. I won't even try to refute this with facts/stats or personal experiences. There are aholes everywhere...in every country, it's not an exclusive thing to Asia. However, there are some countries where it may be more prevalent than others. For example, it does appear that the bystander effect happens more in China...I"m saying this because Chinese people commenting on this story are saying it as well.  And in Japan, sexual harassment seems to get ignored more so than others... but that may be an urban myth as every time I've seen or heard about indecent groping on a train, there have been people to stop it. Oh, and the story has made CNN... it's getting global now. Hopefully this causes something like the good samaritan law to happen in China.
10/18/2011 6:29:23 AM It's sad but I wouldn't take it as some grand representation of today's society. Bad things get reported, good things do not. People would've ran to help that poor girl in most any other situation. The van driver hit a little kid and panicked and ran. While it's not the right thing to do...it's still understandable. As for the people that walked by... I don't know. I truly hope they didn't notice her... Some of them, this is obviously not the case and they're bastards.
10/4/2011 2:24:28 PM  I wouldn't go that far. The retina display of the IP4 was quite a technological leap. There wasn't a phone released at the time with that sort of display. Even today, it's still arguably the best looking display. 960x640 on a 3.5 in display while keeping the battery drain low is quite the feat in engineering. The next best display is probably be samsung's 800x480 super amoled display which is on a 4.3 in screen. As for the IP4s... pretty tame phone. I'm surprised this is what they came up with after ~15 months. When we heard they couldn't make the 1 year redesign deadline, I think most people were expecting a giant upgrade. I'm disappointed and won't be upgrading... my contract doesn't end until the summer of 12 anyway. However, I will agree with giftedhands and say the camera does look pretty awesome. Just the f/2.4 is impressive. Obviously, how fast the lens is doesn't determine image quality... you gotta look at the sensor and lens and all that... but still, f/2.4 is impressive for a phone camera. Obviously, it isn't going to replace my DSLR or even my P&S(Canon S95) but it'll take decent pics when I don't have either on me.
10/1/2011 11:06:37 PM Ahhh okay, that makes sense. Sort of like the people who bought ipads in the states and sold em overseas at huge profits since they didnt come out anywhere else yet.
10/1/2011 8:16:36 PM Well the person doing the buying from TruSnow would still have to be based in America... TruSnow put a stop to forwarding companies a long time ago.  And its not $60. If you are buying tons of stuff, you probably at least have the 15% discount or the 18%. That's $90-120.
10/1/2011 7:36:50 PM Actually, if you read the posts by the staff, it was people buying high-end boards, mainly Gnu/Lib Tech. As Gnu and Lib Tech are restricted and can't be shipped overseas, you can narrow down the culprits to being Americans.
10/1/2011 7:33:11 PM Haha, enough people have blasted the OP for this but comon guys, we all remember being in high school and thinking it's the hardest life ever, everything is unfair, and everyone is out to get us! Give the OP a break. He'll grow up and like us... 10 years later, realize high school was a total joke and life has way more serious problems/worries. If my biggest worry in life was a teacher giving me a 0 on my test... that would be a pretty damn awesome life.
9/30/2011 8:31:13 PM Yea, unlike other open betas where it's released a few months later. BF3 is coming out in a month... they have a LOT of work to do and not much time to do it. And let me add, I played it on the PS3 and wow, what a letdown graphically. I know all the trailers they had up was for the PC version with maxed out settings. But still... it looks like a completely different game. I'm rethinking my decision to get BF3.
