||Hi, Heading to canada next winter, looking at going to revelstoke and banff. Probably check out kicking horse as well. Looking at doing 1 more on the way in/out. Would you guys recommend fernie or big white? Or some other resort somewhere between vancouver and calgary? Note: Was at whistler this year, so don't suggest that please. Cheers, Scott

||Im not that hard on cash, i just object to paying $1000 for a ~$650 board. Figured I'd take advantage of it while they are over there. Thanks though, any others in the area?

||Hey, My folks are in LA atm and im hoping they can pick me up a new board while they are there (prices in Australia are stupid). Do any of you guys know of any stores that stock a good range of brands that are in the vicinity of LAX? Any good stores in just the general LA area would also be greatly appreciated. Cheers

||Any aussie/nz/euro guys who's countries use 240v find a good solution for a waxing iron you can take to usa? For starters in australia they are ridiculously expensive ($120...) and they are 240v, I assume if i take this to the states/canada it wont work (will ride there more than i will ride here/nz) and if i get a 110/120v one from usa it will get fried if I use it here? Anyone know of any irons (specific models - snowboard specific irons) that have a decent voltage range? (110-240v)? Really just want one iron I can use anywhere. Also im well aware I can just use any cheap iron, and will no doubt end up going that way if i cant find one that can do both voltages, just thought someone on here might know of one. Cheers

||Nah no problem with regular sports shoes, every now and then come across a pair that suck, but mostly okay. Giving the lower section a bit of slack doesnt seem to help at all strangely enough.. Its not from my bindings as just putting boots on and walking around gives me issues, kinda frustrating ha.

||Yeah ive tried "silk blend" socks if thats what you mean, helped but nothing significant. He did a bit of heat molding for me in the store, it felt pretty good at first, but then 10 minutes later the pain was back? :S I dno it just sucks haha, makes the afternoons really crap

||I have, ive tried on pretty much the entire store at this point. Its not under my foot that bothers me, its the pressure thats on the top of my foot as a result of my high arch. Im not going to get custom foot beds because then i will lose even more room inside the boot and the pressure on the top of my foot will get worse. Thats fine I just thought some people might have a similar situation and could point me in the right direction, cheers anyway

||So i have pretty messed up feet, really high arches so i have like a pointy bone on the top of my foot above my arch which gives me pain on every boot ive tried on thus far.. I know boots are all about personal fit, but Im just wondering if anyone else has feet of a similar shape to this and have had any success finding boots that have a particularly high cut and dont press in that area? Im aware you can get boots heat molded, but i tried that on my current ones (k2 t1's) and it didn't help much. Went to my local store the other day and tried on a stack, best fitting were probably the burton slx's but i could still feel it, and dont much want to drop that sort of money if it doesnt fit perfectly.. So yeah if anyone could help out would much appreciate it..
