9/7/2010 7:10:47 AM The shopping cart is tip top, you are safe to place orders.  Everything is being picked and packed within 24 hours.  Your card is not charged until we pack your order and place the FedEx lable on it.  The only thing I have noticed and seems like you have too, is some of the 2011 product not having pictures.  I will look into that today.  Beth and Mario are on it when it comes to customer service phones or emails.   Winter is coming...

8/31/2010 2:50:19 PM To win the Sept. 1, 2010 Snowboard Giveaway post your best original video clip on this thread and will pick the winner at 3:00pm on Sept. 1.   Lets get September off to a good start.
4/14/2010 6:25:11 PM I can tell you that no boards were pulled for the sale, then put back on the site after the 70 off sale was over.  The last few days we have been cleaning the warehouse after the big sales and have found a lot of items that have been out of stock.  That is the most likely case.  But, also keep in mind that we get returns everyday.  But if you look around the site you will be finding a lot more gear that has been out of stock, we're organizing the entire warehouse so we are going to be physically moving every item and when that happens we find lots of stuff.
3/15/2010 11:36:05 PM We can give away bluebirds tomorrow, see you at 3pm for the giveaway
3/10/2010 2:45:02 PM Clee you make some good points.  Were not trying to be unprofessional, but Jake is so detached from the day to day there seems to be no other way to reach him.  We also feel strongly that the truth is the truth and whats wrong with being transparent.  After all there is a healthy debate about the sport we all have a stake in. Thanks, Mike
3/10/2010 11:18:55 AM I take responibility for the beef I have with Burton and how it lead to them canceling Sierra's dealership.  I am trying to change their mind because I believe that it is a bad decision for Burton, Sierra and the sport.
3/9/2010 11:17:02 PM Nick I hope you don't mind me quoting you from another thread, you must have been typing this at the same time I was typing my letter to Jake Good quotes, they must have good schools in Chicago
3/9/2010 10:42:52 PM Dear Jake, Jake please read these threads, you are needed at the company that bears your name.  Burton is not a premium luxrury brand, it’s suppose to be the bad a-- snowboard company you started.    You always say it is the riders who are driving this thing.  Your core customers are not driving BMW’s they are clipping lift tickets and trying to find some gore tex on the cheap.  Sierra Snowboard has been big Burton supporters since day one.  My fathers store Tri-City Sporting Goods was a dealer from the earliest years.  It is thru my father at Tri-City that you came to know Laurent Vrignaud.  In 2004 when I started Sierra Snowboard we did 122k with Burton.  By 2008 Sierra Snowboard was one of Burtons biggest accounts. I know there is only a chance Jake is going to read this, so please email Laurent Potdevin, Laurentp@burton.com the CEO of Burton and the man Jake entrusted to run his company.    Tell him what snowboarding means to you and I bet the word brand never gets mentioned in your email.  I remember Jake saying that he focused his company on the sport not his brand.  Laurent you have steered the company off course by focusing all your attention to the brand.  How many models did you cut from the snowboard line this year?  Burton sold 15,000 Troop snowboards it got cut, X8 cut, Dominant (despite its great value) cut.  What's getting cut for 2012? Sierra snowboard is not perfect neither is Burton snowboards, but we are all on the same team.  We are a community of snowboarders.  Jake it’s your call, this year you might have to cut it back to only 98 days of snowboarding.  But if you give up two days of riding to kick some butt at Burton HQ, there will be thousands of snowboarder who might get two more days of snowboarding because now they can afford two more days of snowboarding.  Selling at MSRP is fine August through January, but at the end of the season let the market place determine the price.  Burton benefited from a fair competitive market place on it's incredible ride, please let the next generation of snowboarders/entrepreneurs test themselves in a free and fair market place.  The sport of snowboarding and its customers will be the beneficiaries. Sincerely,Mike
3/9/2010 2:26:37 PM I signed the original only dealer agreement in 2004 before I was an online dealer.  Then every year they change the internet dealer agreement and ask you to sign it.  I signed that only after blacking out the parts were we disagreed.  I have been up front with Burton from day 1.  No discounts until Feb 1, I can live with, but after that let the market settle it
