3/23/2014 5:33:22 PM I got to use some GNU backdoor bindings over this winter, and I'm tempted to get a pair for next season. However, I notice that many pro park riders don't ride backdoor bindings. Is there any reason for this? or is it just because they are paid to use specific bindings that aren't backdoor? Thanks.
2/11/2014 12:56:48 PM I didn't see a thread for the Sochi Olympics so I thought I would start one. What events are you guys pumped about? I personally loved watching slopestyle but I felt Mark McMorris and Stale Saandbech were scored low. But I'm also happy Sage won.
2/4/2014 10:15:47 AM I'm from the Washington D.C. area. I was out in CO a month ago and my friend was recommending Never Summer boards. I ride all terrain but I am riding more park lately. What do you guys think of Never Summer boards? And do you know of any ways I could get a good deal on one?
1/16/2014 12:55:16 PM I usually hotwax my own board, and it provides decent results. But I was wondering if there were any ways i could improve to make the wax work better and increase my speed. For example: what is the best temperature to rub the wax into the base? part of me thinks I've had it too hot and I'm worried I closed the pores of the board. Any special scraping techniques you guys recommend for once the wax has cooled and dried? Thanks guys for your help. I apologize in advance if there has already been a topic about this. could not find it.
1/24/2013 9:07:25 AM Hey I would've posted some pictures but I forgot to take them and upload them. Yesterday when I finished boarding I noticed on the tail part of the top sheet had peeled away. it's still attached to the rest of the top sheet. I was wondering if there is some kind of glue that I can used to reattach it, and possibly file down the edge a little so it doesn't pop back up. Thanks for the feedback and I apologize if I'm in the wrong forum.
9/20/2012 1:56:37 PM Anyone have funny or interesting chairlift experiences?
11/2/2011 5:11:38 PM I currently have a 2009 Rome Machine right now. I love that board, very stable off the kickers and good for riding pow. However it doesn't have a lot of flex. I'm thinking of getting another board, but I want one with more flex than a mid-flex board like the Rome Machine. Do you guys have any suggestions?
1/29/2011 11:15:16 AM I'm gonna be riding at Massanutten Ski Resort tomorrow in Harrisonburg Virginia. If you're gonna be shreddin as well hit me up. I'll be wearing a Blue, White and Grey Quicksilver Jacket with small black stripes, White Burton pants with a pinstripe, A Grey Helmet, and Red Dragon Goggles with a Red Bandana. I'll be Rockin a White Rome Machine Hit me up on the slopes, I'll be there from 9 a.m. til 3 p.m.
1/9/2011 6:54:48 AM Hey I'm looking to buy a new helmet for when I snowboard. I'm an advanced level rider looking to get more into the park this year with rails and kickers. I'm not really sure of what brand names are really good, but I'm trying to keep the helmet in the $80.00 range. Do you guys have any tips or suggestions as to what I should get?
12/12/2010 9:12:51 AM I am a intermediate level rider and have been looking to learn tricks for when I'm free riding on the mountain. I can do backside 180s and 360s pretty well, but, (this is probably somewhat of a stupid question) I don't know how in the world to rotate frontside. Whenever I try to do frontside 180s i either can't pop at all and I just do a revert, or somehow I pop and I barely rotate at all and catch my front edge. I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong so any advice you can give me would be much appreciated. thank you
10/3/2010 9:50:30 AM Does anybody feel like skateboarding when there isn't snow improves ur snowboarding? I've been snowboarding for a while, but it doesn't snow a lot here or year-round. so I picked up skating and I think it's going to improve my riding. we will see when the snow hits, but I have a good feeling it helped
9/30/2010 6:32:55 PM Does Anybody know when the 2011 goggles are going to hit Sierra's website? I'm trying to get a new pair of goggles, and there aren't many 2010 goggles left. Just wondering.
