8/30/2010 2:32:26 PM im mass producing some sliding gloves, ill keep it posted. They're sick!
8/29/2010 12:08:51 PM Im not really digging all the hate Treyarch is getting, i myself am a pretty avid COD player and I enjoyed WAW much more than this MW2 crap. Honestly, like someone said MW2 is much like a sort of arcade game. The Danger Close perk makes the game mentally challenged killstreaks are so easy to obtain its very possible to nuke nearly every game. I really think that MW2 had a chance to be good but it's so spoiled by constant noobtoobing and camping and whatnot. BlackOps is supposed to be a good change of pace though, can't wait. And if your buying that silly RC car, play with that instead of the game plz.
8/21/2010 12:28:45 AM I dont mean to be critical on everything so sorry but stability is about 95% rider and 5% equipment. Tighteing your trucks when you are going fast is the wrong idea. Sure it pretty much locks up your trucks and you usually dont get speed wobbles but you can hardly turn which is just asking for trouble.  Speed wobbles (usually the cause of instability) happen when your ankles continously overcorrect the slight instability you may have gotten from leaning slightly on your toes or heels. The best thing to do is just relax! Loosen up your ankles and try to not over correct... I do agree with you that Stock randal bushings are crap.  Get some venoms and they will liven up.
Thanks for the great advice, will do!
8/13/2010 10:18:23 PM Really? That's awesome i'm super stoked. its a flex 2 hopefully it's stiff enough too skinny? i have size 12 feet, think ill be okay? i mean 8.5 in width is enough right?
8/13/2010 10:00:27 PM thats, very good news. Im buying a vanguard and some randals tomorrow. I can't wait its gonna be a fun new board, anyone have opinions on vanguards?
8/9/2010 2:51:24 AM Ok, First the apex 37 does have mellow concave. Take a look at some pictures. Second it has a decent amount of camber. I do agree with you that original trucks are more carving oriented and arent as versitile as paris... (put double cones in paris 180s or 150s and you will have all the carving ablilty you need even at slow speeds) From a board building perspective i cant say that the bamboo gives more rebound. Bamboo would be nothing without fiberglass. honestly the board wouldnt even stay together with out it. So most of that rebound is coming from the fiberglass.  Sorry to be so critical i just want to get the correct information out there. And also get a board building perspective. But dont you agree both of those boards are expencive beginner boards? Tyler
well, while the concave is mellow, its still much more than dervish, i feel more locked in on my apex than dervishes, you cant really feel the camber, the boards are VERY flexy. almost too flexy for hippies i bottom out sometimes. And yes tyler, everyone should get your boards cause all those other boards are super spendy for cruisers. and im going to have to agree on paris>original trucks, im starting to dislike my originals, hard to pump on them compared to paris.
8/6/2010 11:46:57 AM yeah.
8/5/2010 1:50:07 PM when he grabbed the nade launcher, he said dream bigger, so why on earth would they not dream about much bigger guns, say tanks. moreover, the movie has an amazingly good storyline, even tho it seems developed by guys on acid, also, more importantly, people place too high of importance whether or not the totem stopped spinning, it didnt matter because in that realm he was happy
7/27/2010 12:21:16 AM yeah i know, im giving it to my sister moving to japan. but anyways im outside trying my shovits right now. theyre so frustrating!!
7/27/2010 12:02:41 AM http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/637993-REG/JVC_GCFM1BUS_PICSIO_GC_FM1_HD_Memory.html thats the one. i grabbed two for 49$ each at sears. they have them for cheap on ebay now too. and yea i want a new board so badly. im making two in woodshop this year I picked up 20 veneers for building and my shop teacher is the bomb at molding so i cant wait. still need to lockdown my shovits before i can vid. time for some night sessions!
7/26/2010 11:55:40 PM im super STOKED. ive been waqtching the vids on youtube by HDstarcraft its pretty sick. starcraft is prob best past time ever invented i hope america gets some starcraft toruney fever like korea.
7/26/2010 11:51:49 PM I used a crappy flip camera. Its not a good cam. My good cam got stolen. So dumb. I need a new cam but i dont have the money. I wish someone would give me one :) haha
awe man that blows. im planning on using my little crappy JVC HD cam. it was like 50 bones on sale. you should get one of those if ur low on dough. its a sweet little HD cam, and still holds it up like the big dollar ones. anyways i can"t decide if my vid should be pure freestyle or if i should throw together a DH vid. and yea, some sweet TIGERCLAWS would be sweeeet! :D put up some more vids bro!
7/25/2010 9:21:15 PM yea good vid ross. I hope you win that contest! I think im going to try to make one, but with not such a nice cam. what were u using?
7/23/2010 7:25:32 PM yeah, freestyle on longboards just feels cooler too.
7/18/2010 4:39:17 PM my newb friend broke his shoulder this year and was out all season eating it on a box. A lot of it is confidence, as well as staying focused throughout the rail and a nice jib board is huge also.
