1/9/2012 10:06:32 PM have had slight discoloration on certain bases. my guess would be more due to dirt, grime, and tree sap than wax but who knows. it sticks around even after a fresh wax and scrape.
11/2/2011 8:37:07 AM GPS absolutely kills battery life, and it would have to be on the whole time in order to make sure it's on if you lose it.  I barely get 2 hours of recording time as is.
a GPS chip wouldn't help you locate it unless there was an onboard transmitter as well (a la beacon).
10/17/2011 2:38:27 PM at least 3-4 years old now. I thought it'd be everywhere when I first heard about it. I was let down. I remember they surfaced in some of the sessions thermals and the RED shorts. I remember them being based out of the UK and getting distributors stateside was a sticking point.
10/7/2010 8:13:03 AM As for the whole balance of things (Consumer v. Industry) there has to be a middle ground, and honestly i think it is there. Board prices have hardly changed in ten years, yet what you get out of the boards worth (tech) is much greater. I don't know about you, but aside from electronics for the most part, when the worth a good goes up the cost to purchase usually goes up, that's simple economics. If the market tilts towards consumers than that hurts the industry overall, especially if company's are watching their production closer than ever before. If the scale tilts towards the industry than that hurts consumers, it's a checks and balances type thing.
Let's not forget that the cost of manufacturing has gone down as well. Industrial automation can do wonders. and I believe this is what you were trying to reference in the last half of that paragraph.

9/14/2010 1:54:32 PM i believe the operative phrase here is "variable visibility". 4 out of 5 days I rode there, it felt like I was entering or leaving a cloud most of the time. 1 day there was sunny. pick up the visitor's guide (it's a booklet). Whoever wrote it had a fun time doing so, and it's a hoot to read.
9/10/2010 12:39:56 AM i used to think lodge food was uber expensive and would avoid it by bringing sandwiches with me or hiding lunch bags out in the trees. being a student puts you in that mindset. it's scary to think that these days it seems completely normal to me to drop that kind of cash on a meal. eating at airports and being on the road every week will do that to you. <meh/>
9/9/2010 12:51:02 PM depends on what's calling the function. I would have written it to echo out the returned value as opposed to echo inside the function. better control with the output. looks like it's just trying to write the google adsense headers into the page... don't know how that works with the forum id and topic id? is this for a forum nick?
9/9/2010 10:45:45 AM hey richard. Sierra boards ARE burton boards.
9/9/2010 10:38:30 AM   Funny I don't remember ever comparing it to any other city than itself 8 years ago.  Compared to the same area 8 year ago, yes it has gotten more ghetto and gangs are becoming a problem in that area.  Are there other places much much worse, of course.  Are there other countries that have it much much worse than the worst crime ridden city in the US?  Of course, but bringing that up doesn't really have any relevance to the point I was making.
i skate, bike, and walk all over downtown denver and at night. not nearly as bad as a lot of the other big cities... simply because denver's not a "big city" .
9/9/2010 12:28:02 AM lol pipecode - i was doing the same thing as you.
9/9/2010 12:27:05 AM *EDIT* pipecode already posted the images
9/8/2010 5:54:51 PM Also not seeing where you're using $forumid and $topicid. going up a level, if this is for your website SummitSnowReport, I'm just curious as to what it's going to offer that goes above and beyond http://www.onthesnow.com/colorado/skireport.html One page and I have total new snowfall for every resort in colorado. check this guy out when I wake up in the morning and then make a decision based on traffic reports.
9/8/2010 5:49:59 PM last I checked, php syntax follows that of C/C++ function_name (var1,var2, varN) { logic; return result;} your curly braces look like they're in the wrong spot so there's nothing encapsulating the actual "function".
9/7/2010 11:26:53 PM lol there IS a thread on how long the union binding screws are... or aren't
