||Definitely tuck the gaiter into your boots. That usually works for me. I don't pant up until I get closer to the mountain anyways.

||I always buy the top quality stuff... from a few years ago. That way you know it was good and it'll be at a better price. The down side is that they're usually less available, but its a price im willing to pay for being cheap :)

||This may or may not be a dumb question but, where is the "search" function?

||I'm willing to bet that you won't really find anything particularly special in stores on black friday. My best buying experiences have always been at those mom and pop board shops where I got to know the owner and could strike up a pretty good deal (he'd throw in bags, goggles, random accessories). Plus it's benefitting small business and local business! :)

||Personally, I would NOT recommend 3 in 1 jackets. Some are good but personally I think they limit your aresenal. I'd rather get a shell jacket (for less cold days) and a heavier jacket (for cold days) instead of getting a 3-in 1. For me, I like to wear layers instead of zipping one jacket into another. In addition, having different jackets gives you different styles. Right now I have a thicker Analog Jacket for boarding on cold days and a Burton Shell for the warmer days. Total for the two, I probably spent around $200 also. In regards to brands, I like 686 and Analog and Special Blend a lot. They're pretty good for the price. I only have the burton shell b/c it was on sale. Otherwise they're probably too expensive for someone like me who doesn't care that much about brand name. Hope that's insightful.

||This is a great board! I've had it for a year, it's the fourth board I've ever owned and by far my favorite. Highly recommend it to beginner to intermediate. Can't speak for how it performs for experts because I, myself, am not one :p
