11/26/2012 10:40:52 AM I just recently got the free binding coupon and I think there needs to be some clarity created with what you are getting. The email that is sent out says ANY bindings. The site posts... Member Point Details Hi there and welcome to TruSnow's Member Point reward system. We wouldn't be anywhere without you, the customer, so we are hooking you up to say thanks for sharing our passion for snowboarding and skiing! There are 4 ways to earn points: Posting: You can earn up to five points a day for posting in our community forums. We encourage you to be active and meet our staff, expert members and other community members. Submitting one-word posts, negative or malicious posts and/or reviving old threads just to earn your daily points, can result in a loss of those points. Write a review: Please share your experiences with the products you have used, purchased or demoed. Let us all know what you think. Spread the love or the dirt; nothing beats first hand experience. You can post up to three a day. Reviewing products with irrelevant reviews, or un-insightful reviews for points can, and will, be deleted resulting in a loss of those points. If a review is flagged 5 times by the community as spam, the review will be deleted along with the associated points. Buying gear: If reviews and forums aren't your cup of tea, no fear- you can earn one point for every $10 dollars spent; for example if you spend $248 you get 24 points: There are no partial points. Dollar amounts less then 10 will not roll over to future purchases. ***Remember to log into your account for all your purchases: We cannot combine any points from different accounts. Logging In: The easiest way to earn points. You get one point per day, everyday that you log into the site. Free Gifts: When you reach a new level and qualify for a free gift you will be emailed a coupon. This coupon will be valid for any sale item in the qualifying category. Maximum value of free goggle is $100 Full Retail, Snowboard Binding $250 Full Retail TruSnow reserves the right at any time to discontinue, delete, suspend or change any or all point reward systems, without notice. Points potentially earned during these times will not be reinstated when system is restored. Any abuse of forums, chat, or point reward system, including illegitimate posts or reviews or getting banded in chat, can result in the loss of points, status and account, at the sole discretion of the staff. And when you put an item in your shopping cart it only does a 200 discount
6/16/2012 6:53:59 PM My buddy recently put this together on a trip to DC. He is a film student at MIAD in Milwaukee currently and was a prior service USMC grunt and sniper. I encourage you to check it out and reflect on what these men sacrificed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AktN6S0TD30&feature=youtu.be <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AktN6S0TD30?version=3&feature=player_detailpage"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AktN6S0TD30?version=3&feature=player_detailpage" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object>
1/19/2012 12:49:30 PM Im not sure what yr this board is but I bought it here last season to use as a replacement for a board I was getting warrantied. Heres the link for it. Its a 157cm and black http://www.trusnow.com/Technine-Icon-Series-Snowboard.asp The board has only been used a hand full of times. Once my other board came back I just went back to using that. So now its just taking up space and I dont have a use for it. With the board I have a pair of 2009 Burton Cartels non est, white lgs sizes 10+. In perfect working order only used on this board, so only ridden a few times. Possibly willing to do seperate sales but for the combo I was thinking 275 shipped or 250 if local (milwaukee area) Im open to offers as well. pm me for pics
12/29/2011 1:07:32 PM I was in route to buy a new set up before I head to Colorado. I was going to get the 2012 Indoor Survival and the 2012 Union Forces. With my member discount it is showing 15% off. When I went to put it in my shopping cart the percentage isnt applied. So I call and inform customer service of my problem and even with it advertising it they still wont give me the price. I have played the retail sales game for a while and I have always had to give the price that is advertised even if it is wrong. Trusow is not willing to make that compromise. Seriously fix the problem if your not going to give the price
11/20/2011 8:28:12 PM So I googled and look through old threads to try and find this but I failed Basically I saw a thread earlier in the year about a group trip to Agrentina. I was wondering if this is happening again this year or not. Either way Im interested in checking out the S American boarding world for a possible late summer trip
11/16/2011 12:41:30 PM This sale is for a buddy of mine who I will forward any PMs to him He has a brandnew stickers still on 2012 whammy bar. He decided that a hybrid would be better for all mountain riding than the V rocker on the Whammy Bar. The board is a 155cm. He's not looking for any trades. The board is a V rocker and comes with the rail ready edges. Its an awesome park board with a 3 rated flex. The board is and ICS so EST bindings or adaptors are required. I did look and found a few older season ESTs for a good price, there were 3, exiles, customs and missions. pics will come soon once he send them to me tonight. Until then I'm just seeing if anyones intersted. He's asking $330 shipped. I would say thats fair for a 2012 board thats $400 right now. The seasons almost in full swing why not start it with a new board
10/13/2011 6:39:58 PM TruSnow adds all these new brands and no never summer. come on. And whats with all these off brands. I mean I understand profit margin but I dont think this is a smart move
9/22/2011 7:16:42 PM Im going with my schools ski club as a last hurrah before i graduate college. It will be my second season snowboarding and my first trip out west. Im curious if anybody has ever been there and how was it? Im a huge park junkie but I wanna ride some pow too. whats your take, its only costing me 650 for 6 day 5 nights everythings include, so im going regardless
7/29/2011 4:30:56 PM I wanna see what peoples thoughts are, ive been with sprint for about 3.5 yrs now and have been treated well. never had any customer service issue, i get a 25% discount, i would say im satisfied for the most part BUT pep peev in my house and building i always drop call and it pisses me the F off. My sister and i have evo's that i like but this reception thing is getting old. So im curious if anyone else has idea's with my work 25% discount the bill for 2 phones with 1500 min unlimited internet and all the other BS is 138. so if there is a way to come close to that im willing to consider it. I know i wont get my 25% agian but i have a military discount as well which is usually 15% min WI people most welcome to respond considering geographic thanks cheers
7/3/2011 7:21:53 AM I have long debated on where all the time in my day goes to and I would say its either here or facebook. I think im here more than anything though
6/29/2011 8:27:56 PM I got a friend of mine that is looking to get into snowboarding and i can only tell her what to get to a point. whats the real difference between guys and girls boards. shes 5'1 maybe 110 any suggestions
6/13/2011 8:38:53 AM what bindings do you like better toe caps or over the foot strap. Im all about the over the foot strap. I have tried toe caps and they just seem weird to me and dont seem to lock in as tight and give the same feel so whats ur thoughts
6/8/2011 7:41:47 AM I got snow fever right now and was just curious how many people here were from the midwest are specifically WI. I wanted to see where you snowboard because Im always looking hit the hills with more people
6/4/2011 11:23:22 AM hey for anyone looking for a good deal. i live in WI and at the johnscn Creek outlet mall i found about 6 large and 6 med jackets on clearance. they where regularly 285.99 marked down to $70. i apologies for not being helpful with the model but it was insulated with a nike dri fit jacket. I was really nice but the large didnt fit me. Im 5'9 185 wrestler build so if anyone is looking for a solid deal i would check it out along with anyone else that has a nike outlet near them. i doubt they will last long cheers
6/2/2011 7:14:41 AM Im looking for suggestions on a rolling board bag. price really doesnt matter im more interested in the quality. my plan is to go to europe after graduation in fall and snowboard the hole time im there. im going to try and make the trip as cheap as possible and live out of my board bag. so i need to be able to carry 2 boards, bindings, helmet, goggles, and some clothes. Is there anything out there that will work for me
