3/7/2012 8:29:04 PM Just an FYI on the organization Invisible Children... http://wilwheaton.tumblr.com/post/18920717928/thedailywhat-on-kony-2012-i-honestly-wanted-to I know this is a personal opinion from a blogger but some of the facts cant be overlooked..
3/5/2012 8:17:34 PM Has anyone had any problems with the toe ratchets on this years forces? I got a pair this year, probably rode on them 20 times and both toe ratchets are acting weird. I wanna say its the springs cause they both stay in the upright position and just sound really loose.
1/12/2012 7:21:18 PM Flew from CT to Seattle to go to British Columbia with my Burton Sack pack. Went really big on it, fit a 156, bindings, boots, all my outerwear and clothes in a 166 bag. Worked great and only had a carry on and a backpack with me. Went for 4+ days riding and 6 overall. With a less padded bag or a nice wheelie bag the chances of a bag getting lost are the same. If you pack it right then even the sack pack will get you through a long trip fine.
12/9/2011 9:13:40 PM Was there last weekend- conditions were great from 8am till about noon. After that pretty choppy and icey but still fun riding. Lines weren't too bad but the mountain did get extremely crowded where their were 2 main intersections. Longest wait was 5-10 mins at the Gondola between 11-1 I believe two schools from PA and MD were up then so there were a TON of people learning on what Killington calls 'advanced terrain' Going back up on Sunday- looks to be fairly good with the cold temps during the end of the week and guns on full blast. I think they are shooting to have something like 22-25 trails open with Skye Peak opening up and the bunny hill in from of Snowshed too.

11/28/2011 5:22:11 PM Sugarloaf it is! Sent in the deposits for the trip about 2 weeks ago. Figured if I am going somewhere for 5 days might as well go somewhere I wont go any other time- Listen to this deal; Sun-Thurs lodging in Village Condos (trailside) and 5 day lift pass for.... wait for it.... $289 for the whole deal. Squeezing max occupancy in a room but not a big deal ( 4 ppl in a 1 bedroom, 6 in a 2 bedroom and 8 in a 3 bedroom) Pays of to be part of the Outdoor Club at school and take advantage of the mountains 'college week'
11/27/2011 4:59:50 PM @odoyale or anyone that can help- any suggestions on the best way to get a die cut off a helmet? got a big green monster logo on the back of my helmet that I want to take off and just wondering if anyone has some good suggestions... thanks
11/27/2011 4:35:22 PM $3.27 in MA
11/25/2011 9:22:34 PM I want some Union Forces to go on my GNU
11/20/2011 7:54:48 PM Okemo - Nov 22nd Stratton- Nov 23rd All depending on weather for snowmaking, and opening will only have a hand full of trails. Okemo had to push back their date by 4 days already
11/5/2011 7:39:10 PM Ski Butternut- Great Barrington, MA
10/14/2011 9:03:05 PM Im hoping to plan a week trip to sugarloaf January 8-13th, midweek so I am hoping no long lines. I found a company that had great week trip deals for that week because I believe its a slow week for the mountains. I take you go you there alot? One thing that really interests me is their expansion project..
10/5/2011 9:12:58 PM Sugarloaf I hear is amazing to go to. Only place in New England with above the treeline riding. Check out Stowe too. A great place I have found to get great deals on trips is www.snosearch.com . You get lodging and tickets at a real good price.
10/5/2011 9:10:14 PM Also check out Butternut in Great Barrington MA. Its a small mountain but can be tons of fun. Extremely cheap if your a college student, $25 anyday basically. Its one of those mountains that takes 10 mins to get up on the lift and about 3 mins at most to get down but can still be a lot of fun. 2 parks- 1 you need a pass and the other is much smaller to learn on. Usually has some really good snow but gets crowded on the weekends. If your in college check out some of the closer VT mountains like Mount Snow, Okemo or Stratton. Mount snow has a $300 college pass for the whole year, and if you get one at Okemo or Stratton its good at both mountains. $300 is an absolute steal and all you need is a transcript and id card. Worth the trip up there compared to the CT/MA mountains
10/5/2011 9:05:45 PM I've only been to Mohawk before, I live in northern CT and usually go up to Vermont. The times I've been to Mohawk was for their night skiing, not a bad mountain in my opinion. Smaller compared to the bigger VT mountains but does have its challenges and fun trails. You can literally go side to side and back with having some fun in a short amount of time. Also look into Mt. Southington, havent been but heard decent things about it
