12/12/2012 11:41:47 AM They are amazing boots but they are too small for me. I've only used it 2 or 3 times so it's pretty much in new condition and I have the box still. MSRP $219.99 + tax selling for $80 OBO
3/8/2012 9:48:34 AM Does anyone know anything about these bindings? I'm considering getting them but can't find any reviews anywhere... Thanks for the help http://www.gnu.com/bindings/mens/park/
3/7/2012 9:26:45 AM Just discovered this deal two days ago Sierra at Tahoe Lift Ticket Deal for REI members only. 2 for $59. Must purchase by March 12, tickets have no blackout dates or restrictions. Go to REI to buy, must be a member. Happy shredding!
2/22/2012 12:40:49 PM Hi, I have a couple of Sierra boards that need some TLC... question is, do you know if this will be covered under warranty? I don't want to ship them back if it will not be covered... First is my Sierra Stunt, purchased on 1/26/2011, has about 15-20 days of riding on it. Seems like the base of the board is starting to peel off... Second is my Sierra Team purchased on 11/08/2011, has only 3 days of riding on it. A small part of the edge (about 2 inches) is starting to come apart... Thanks for looking... hopefully it is something that can be fixed under warranty. If not under warranty, do you know if it's an easy fix at a shop like REI, Any Mountain, etc? I have another board I'm using now that has about 20 days on it, no problems so far.. but hopefully I can get these fixed because I prefer them. Thanks for the help
2/22/2012 8:16:11 AM http://www.snow.com/epic-pass/bestoftahoe.aspx?cmpid=SOC00420#/passbenefits Anyone with a Northstar/heavenly season pass can now go to Kirkwood as well! (and vice versa)
2/9/2012 10:25:02 AM tickets to alpine or squaw on valentines day for $14. http://www.squaw.com/the-mountain/lift-tickets-and-passes/lift-ticket-deals#share-the-love happy shredding!
1/17/2012 9:56:37 AM Hello all Quick question about bindings: I have the rome S90 that came with my sierra stunt package, and was going to use those bindings on my new board. However, when I went to pick up my new board I found a pair of brand new 2011 Rome 390 Boss bindings... marked down from 200+ to 80 bucks. Will there be a big difference between the s90 and the 390? And would that difference be worth the $80? Bindings will be going on a lib tech attack banana board Thanks for your help
1/16/2012 9:39:42 AM Sup everyone, So I've been looking at these two boards for myself, and can't figure out which to get. From what people have been telling me, I can't really go wrong with either board... so I'm stuck in the middle. Any one ride these two boards and have a preference? Any pro's/con's for either board? I'm basically looking for an all-mountain shredder... my only current board is a Sierra Stunt 158. My local sports basement has both on hold for me until Friday, and is offering 20% off. Any help is appreciated!
1/6/2012 11:49:18 AM Hi, a friend of mine found this board for pretty cheap (under $200), the guy at the store recommended it but he seemed shady. Anyone have experience with this board or rome boards in general? http://www.evo.com/outlet/snowboards/rome-lo-fi-rocker-snowboard-womens-2011.aspx#utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=shoppingengine&utm_campaign=child_EB-33436-1002
12/23/2011 1:20:05 PM Thought it would be fun to compare my riding to other people on here. Any other epic mixers want to compare/contrast? Feel free to add me via facebook to do so. kpyoung@ucdavis.edu Happy Shredding!
12/19/2011 10:57:12 AM Hey Guys and Gals, I bought all 3 of these boards for my girlfriend for X-mas(huge 1-day 25% discount from sports chalet so I had to pull the trigger), but I really don't know much about boards. I currently have a sierra stunt and crew for myself, I just bought because it's convenient with the package that TruSnow offers. Which one do you think is best for her? I will keep 1 and return the other 2. Deciding between the Arbor Swoon, Gnu BPro, and Roxy Silhouette Banana board. These 3 were the ones the guys at the shop recommended to me. FYI, she can carve it up very well, and she wants to start messing around a lot more in the park with me. We usually ride blacks all day long, but stay away from tree-lines and powder. Pretty much I'm looking for a great all-mountain board for her that will function fairly well in the park... she's riding a 10+ year old Lamar Board, the first and only one she's ever had. 12/9/2011 8:30:48 AM Hey All, Need some help with XMAS shopping, I am stumped. Need something for the Girlfriends Parents... been with the girl for about a year... Chocolate, flowers, etc. all out of the question because they don't like sweets and are allergic.... household items they don't need (their house is cluttered) Any ideas on what to get? Budget is around $100 or less... BTW I have no idea what if any hobbies the parents have... LOL. They just work and stay home
11/18/2011 8:07:09 AM Hi All, I was looking at purchasing some of those one day bus-ride tickets to take you from the Bay Area to Tahoe. Anyone have experience with these? With my season pass this year, I want to go as much as possible, but if my friends can't make it, the 3.5-4 hour drive each way would be hard (plus expensive for gas by myself). Thanks for the help
11/17/2011 10:18:20 AM Hello, Sorry if there are many topics on this... I've tried the search button (the one right next to the "Free gifts with purchase" icon, but can't get it to find anything... (I think i'm a retard, so flame all you want =P ) Last year was my first year boarding, and at the end of the season I gave the board a fatty coat of wax to let it rest. Now what do I do? Most sites I googled suggest scraping off the old layer, using a base cleaner to clean the board, then re-waxing like regular. Is that necessary? Can I just be lazy, leave the old wax on from last time, put a new coat on now and just scrape off excess from last time and this time? I'm trying to save time as I only have couple of hours on Saturday to get my board and my 3 brother's boards done in time before we head up to Northstar. Thanks for your help and input, if this has already been talked about feel free to close this thread down and point me in the right direction.
