10/2/2012 1:22:19 PM To answer everyone... steezemisterr...move here! I moved from New York for the sole purpose of riding bryman...park city allows snowboarding, deer valley and alta do not everyone else...you have to sell 10 to get a pass but I'll probably be working at the resort again, might not need this I don't remember anything about a $5 printing fee and I bought my pass through a student rep my freshman year
10/1/2012 12:22:23 PM Hi, I am a student representative for Park City Mountain Resort offering a great deal for skiing/snowboarding this winter! This pass is good for the 2012/2013 season in full, there are no blackout dates! Only requirement is you need to be a full time college student (12 credits or 8 for graduate) Grab this deal while you can and ski one of the best resorts in the country!!! and its all done online so it's super easy Instructions: 1. Log onto: http://pcski.com/hallpass 2. Read the instructions and click Buy Now 3. Select which season pass you would like to purchase 4. Click Check Out 5. Click Continue Check Out 6. Login / Create a new account 7. Once logged in, continue to the Payment Information page 8. Under Discounts type code: srahrwhp 9. Click apply 10. Enter credit card information and submit order. 11. To pick up your season pass you will go to the ticket office at park city resort and bring with you your Student ID and Fall class schedule. Call/Text Shane 315-857-8584 with any questions
9/16/2012 10:05:17 PM cant wait for monday night football, highlight game of the week in my opinion
9/16/2012 10:03:32 PM hey, I know this thread hasn't been posted on in a while but I figured it was a good place to catch some local riders. I sell cheap season passes ($375) to park city for college students. Hit me up if you're interested in riding pc this year, or if you already have a pass I'm always lookin for people to ride with.
12/4/2011 4:18:40 PM 2.89 on my way to park city yesterday, it was great
11/17/2011 12:03:13 PM Park City opens on the 19th. Cant wait to ride a real park for opening day! I did head up to guardsman pass the other day. people leave features set up everywhere around there. its so nice
11/15/2011 5:19:11 PM Just rode Brighton the other day for opening day. The park was a lot of small features but still fun. Just wondering what opening day was like for other people and other places.
9/16/2011 4:08:11 PM I have that board but not looking to sell. It is a really nice board. why dont you look at a newer model?
9/12/2011 2:42:05 PM Snowbird=no because they dont have a park at all, strictly freeriding and backcountry Brighton Pros: varying terrain, park is okay, night skiing, gets more snow than the resorts on the east side of the mountains Cons:personally i think its a pain to drive up the cottonwood canyons, brighton is a smaller mountain Park City: Pros: three different parks for three different riding levels (even if youre intermediate/expert its fun to goof around in the small park once in awhile.), the park is different every day, larger mountain, good balance of different terrains, night riding, the eagle superpipe Cons: dont get the type of backcountry riding you could get at say snowbird or canyons (mainly nice cliffs/ledges) Canyons: Pros: HUGE, its the largest resort in utah. Backcountry access is great(mainly via 9990 lift). Park features are creative/innovative Cons:Only one park, not as many hits, a little pricier for a seasons In the end I go to Park City because im willing to sacrifice some aspects of backcountry riding to have access to a great terrain park. I would choose canyons if riding park wasnt my main priority because canyons has a little bit of everything. Park city's focus is the park
9/12/2011 10:22:42 AM Anybody going to the premiere in park city on friday 23rd? If so, what time?
9/11/2011 10:33:30 PM no the first one didnt break. i just upgraded in size is all. outgrew the first one i got
9/11/2011 3:40:26 PM the WWW is a good board for rails and it will handle jumps. but like you said i cant tell you to not get any of the other boards you mentioned cuz i dont know much about them. ive only owned an atomic revival, two WWW's and the bataleon evil twin i have now
9/11/2011 1:36:20 PM oh and if you get a size that fits you right the weapon is fine for hitting jumps. I landed my first 900 on a WWW over a 50-60 footer so no issues
9/11/2011 1:25:37 PM Dont go with a bataleon if youre trying to get better at rails. I have a bataleon evil twin now and I love it but whenever I know im gunna be hittin rails that day i switch to my k2 WWW. The TBT (triple base technology) that bataleon uses on its boards isnt the greatest for trying to stay flat on a rail. You slide off pretty easily.
