5/17/2013 2:25:42 PM	Family decided that they want to go to Canada next Sat for Memorial Day weekend. My passport unfortunately expires on the 22nd so I have to go to a passport agency in Manhattan to get the thing renewed but I've heard mixed results about being able to get it same day. The earliest appointment I could get is unfortantely Friday 5/24. I figured people on this forum might travel a bit and have some experience with this. Has anyone ever needed to get a passport renewed in a short period of time and able to get it same day?

12/21/2012 2:32:37 PM	Just read this article and found it to be a very interesting read. I never really thought about what it might be like to be trapped in an avalanche. The descriptions here are extremely vivid and detailed. 4/25/2012 1:42:08 PM	It's gonna be a pretty crazy year for comic book movies starting with the Avengers movie coming out next week. I stopped actively buying individual comic books a while ago but I'm still collecting trade paperbacks and hardcover collected editions. Once in a while I'll dabble and buy some stuff for my collection although I'm not spending thousands on it like I did in years past.
