6/17/2013 3:04:39 PM	My goal of doing Tough Mudder was met. Did the "Portland" event over the weekend. I feel the Insanity workout series helped me a bit with the oft-changing heart rate. The team I had made plans to go with just @(*$in left without me (not like left me behind... I straight up didn't see them at the event). Ended up joining another group and had a blast! I'll post a couple photos later :)
6/5/2013 11:36:44 PM	Mariners had a mess of a game today hosting the WSox. 13 scoreless innings for both teams, until the M's bullpen fell apart in the top of the 14th, allowing Chicago to score 5 runs.... Ordinarily you'd immediately change the channel, knowing it was over, but I had just moseyed into the break room and saw that it was on... FIgured i'd watch them roll over and die while my food cooked. They put together a string of singles, scoring once and loading the bases. Then with 2 outs and a 1-2 count, Kyle Seager took a slightly hanging changeup and put it over the fence, tying the game at 5-5. It's the first extra-inning, game-tying grand slam in MLB history. Pretty cool... but all for not, as the White Sox capped on another 2 in the 16th, and wound up with a 7-5 score.
6/4/2013 1:49:13 PM	That's a pretty cool piece of work, BMW :) It would last about 2 seconds in front of my house. And glad you're gettin some good miles in on the new ride. I did a lil 30 mile loop over the weekend. Got a new seat and tweaked some stuff to try to be more comfortable. The knee held up alright, but was a bit tight toward the end of the run. Almost ran over a Pomeranian :)
6/3/2013 7:59:45 PM	Wow, this game is a massacre. Won't be able to catch any of it (still in the office following class), but somewhat happy I didn't miss anything. Part of me felt like this game only went 7 to get ratings anyway. Good luck in the Finals, Spurs.

5/30/2013 1:38:33 PM	Good to hear the progress is continuing, Hana. I've been slackin-ass with my Insanity workouts. I started last Thursday and have only got 3 workouts in. I think my main issue is my GF makes me feel all awkward when she's around and I'm tryna work out. I post my progress (just words, no pics lol) on FB and she gets all "Why do you feel the NEED to post updates of that?", in the tone that suggests im tryna get every woman on FB to bang me or something. I just have a couple friends who have had good success with the workout, and they cheer me on and stuff. It's nice to have a support group! Especially when the gf's bein a jealous beezy :)) Gonna do workout 4 this afternoon before she gets home. Then gonna go for a run. That was a poor decision on my part last time, but I gotta make up for bein lazy!
5/30/2013 1:34:21 PM	Made some mini fajitomelettes for breakfast this morning. Had some leftover pepper/mushrooms from making fajitas a couple nights ago, so tossed those, along with some cheese and ham, and then topped it off with some chipotle hot sauce and a guac/sour cream mix.

5/30/2013 12:56:21 PM	I love Monday being part of the 3-day weekend a lot better than getting friday off. Coming back after an extended weekend to a shorter week is just awesome! No plans for this weekend, though. Might be good cuz I'll be headin out of town next week and be spendin money. Lay low plan for this one!

5/24/2013 8:23:46 AM	It doesn't help that game 1 of the Heat series didn't even start til AFTER Game 2 of the Spurs. Whoever does NBA playoff scheduling should be fired. It's so hard to follow a series' rhythm
5/24/2013 8:22:34 AM	Well, least your weekend gets to start sooner! I have meetings beginning at 6:30, then i take a 30 minute break to get ready for/get to work. Then work from 7:30-2:30 and im DONE! wooooo!!! Three-day weekend, here we come!
5/24/2013 8:19:10 AM	Took the befores.. I was rather disappointed with the side-view pic. My pooch looked quite a bit larger than when im staring down at it :)) But gotta start somewhere! I did the fitness test yesterday, and did OK. My ceilings are quite short, so some of the jumping exercises (and there are many) were worrisome. Had some water and cooled down afterward, then went for a 4 mile jog. My legs are kinda beat today... Insanity pt. 2 is likely gonna be the death of me lol.
