9/7/2012 2:17:31 PM What type of terrain are you looking for?  I like Jay Peak, but it's so damn far compared to the other VT mountains.  Have you been to Stowe?
2/23/2011 7:35:12 AM thanks for the tips lib and astro, I'm heading up there this weekend, and lodging is damn expensive.
1/28/2011 12:01:11 PM I got one too, hoping to do a road trip up to Tremblant, stopping at most of the mountains on the way.
12/14/2010 11:40:59 AM I've gone with skiklub and zhitours, they are well organized.  Skiklub makes you pay a $15 annual due, but zhitours does not.  Their prices are comparable, and rooms vary from 4-8 people.   I'm going to Okemo this weekend via wowwytours, I've never booked through them, but we were able to get 2 10 person cabins, so it was worth checking out.
12/14/2010 11:34:08 AM If you missed out on the Biglift card, the 3X card is good deal if you were only planning to go to Hunter 3 times.  ($109)
11/8/2010 8:56:10 AM All good. I should add, the place doesn't have to be in Brooklyn   I'd like to stay within NYC though.
11/8/2010 8:51:46 AM I live in Brooklyn, and I don't have time to wax/tune my boards for the upcoming season.  Does anyone have any recommendations on where to take my boards? I was told to go to Panda Sports on Brooklyn, but I'd like to know if anyone else has any recommendations. Thanks
10/27/2010 1:55:18 PM I've had a pair of Level (don't remember which model) gloves for the past 3 seasons, but they have finally worn out(giant hole in the palm).  So i'm looking for some new gloves with some wrist protection.  Any suggestions?
10/27/2010 12:42:56 PM They fit around my "Asian nose" better, and don't slide down my face. edit: I have A-Frames - Asian Fit
10/27/2010 12:32:18 PM You should check out the gear selection section: http://www.trusnow.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11112. For under $100, I would just get a softshell and layer up.
10/27/2010 12:20:53 PM Thanks for the great videos Doug.  They will be very a helpful aid.  I was wondering if there was any where I could find all of your instructional videos, or if you could just embed them all into the OP.  So that people don't have to paginate through the entire thread to look for videos.
10/27/2010 11:56:22 AM I agree with Daveongo's ranking, but if you're going to go on a weekend, Hunter is the most crowded, the blacks on the back side of the mountain are not crowded, but the front side of the mountain is like a bowling alley.
10/27/2010 11:35:37 AM I agree with the others.  You won't find any powder at any of the Catskill mountains--it's all groomers, but if you're looking for park features, you should definitely go to Mt. Creek.  It's also the closer to NYC.  Will you have transportation? When are you planning on being here?
2/1/2010 8:41:39 AM This is great thanks. the 2-for-1 coupons to Jay Peak and Smuggs will come in handy.
11/16/2009 10:39:00 AM Agreed, between Windham, Belleayre and Hunter, Hunter is my favorite. Never liked Camelback, such short runs.
