|| I'm so jelly of the pow that you & your buddies got to ride. And I dig the handful of tumbles near the end.

||Oof. That sux, barnyard. But it seems that you may have unwittingly helped to bring the late season snow by supporting the mantra I learned and promoted from Bryan from Open Snow Tahoe, which is to "give up hope since hope & optimism fuel the blocking ridge."

||I have one more voucher left, too. Thanks for mentioning you had a couple cuz it reminded me that I need to give mine away.

|| Sheesh! Seems as if the Rangers injury woes from last season have carried over. When I watched one of the games vs. the A's on TV earlier this week, I seem to recall one of the commentators mention that the Rangers used a record number of players last season and that an asston of them were rookies. Yikes!

|| Sweet! I gotta keep my eye out for that then. I remember how excited I was seeing the vid of his first performance (at some li'l spot in London, I think?) after coming back from Africa when he called it quits on Season 3 of Chappelle's Show. I think Dave is not only a comedic genius, but also a genius period. He's super intelligent and informed. I'm sure the fact that his folks are educators has been a lifelong influence in that regard. Oh, and I also saw him live in San Jose back in the spring of 2004, which was right around the time his struggle with the negative effects of his popularity came to a head. I recall him mentioning how fans yelling out catchphrases from the TV show was getting tiresome. Although he did offer the humorous side of the situation, like when he'd be out in public with his kids, he mos def voiced how obnoxious it was. And naturally, this mini-rant was triggered by some numbnut in the audience who yelled out of nowhere, "I'm Rick James, bitch."

|| Nice, lightning. My day at Bear on Wed mos def also had some pockets where I found stuff deeper than the 9" that fell after they closed on Tues afternoon.

||I'd hafta agree. LOL

|| Sheesh! It had been 10 years since the A's have won a season opener. I'm sure it woulda been more challenging if Davish was on the hill. Gray pitched a helluva a game last night, taking a no-no into the 8th. And their bats were wide awake, too. When I first saw Zobrist's HR swing in real time, I didn't think he hit it very well. Boy! Was I wrong! I know it's been breezy in the Bay, so the wind coulda carried it a bit. We'll see if they'll even be able to play in the soggy conditions are tonight.

||Nice. At my last job, my co-workers knew they could swap my days off -- Fri & Sat -- if I wanted to catch a midweek powder day or two. Too bad our pow days have been few and far between over the last few years, esp. this season.

|| If Conor can dethrone Aldo, he'll be more than the "new Chael." While The West Linn Gangsta sure could talk the talk, he didn't always walk the walk. So for now, I'd agree that McGregor is Chael-ish in the promo dept. We'll see if that changes come July 11th.

||"Badgers? We ain't got no badgers. We don't need no badgers. I don't have to show you any stinkin' badgers!" Actually, I don't really care which squad wins. I just want an exciting final!

|| LET'S GO, OAKLAND! *clap clap clap-clap-clap* Man, even though Texas is a division rival, I got mad respect for Darvish. His stuff is filthy. And I just saw that Harrison is out, too. Yikes! They're hurting on the pitching front.
