3/5/2013 7:57:48 AM Editing this thread to consolidate my for sale stuff. See later posts for more stuff ....
12/6/2011 6:03:01 AM So I'm official gear buyer for all the peeps in my family it seems. I'm looking for a decent pair of 10.5 Nikes (Zoom Force or Danny Kass preferably, could do Kaijus at the right price). Not necessarily looking for Ross prices, but trying to find a decent deal to help out a family member. Shoot me info if you've got something that fits the bill, either here or on a PM.
11/15/2011 8:23:26 AM edit: Wifey wants my one man board shop out of the garage ASAP. Make offers. Will probably list up some more outerwear soon.   Cleaning out some stuff for my nephew and myself. All items OBO.   2009 Burton Twin 151 -- Cambered Park slayer and all mtn freestyle deck. Sintered Base elliptical kicks, solid deck. Topsheet is nicked up and has some wear around the edges, but again base and edges are good. Looking for $100+ ship               Burton Hail, size 9.5 - used lightly for 3 seasons. (20ish total days on them). $50 shipped       Burton Ronin 3L Jacket, XL - montecarlo brown. 20k/15k jacket, super burly and durable shell. $50 shipped         L/XL glow colorway Union Atlas bindings. Used 4 days. SOLD!    Burton Ozones, mens size 9.5, Hooker colorway --SOLD  Nike Danny Kass Boots, Size 10. Used for one season, still plenty of life left in them. SOLD    2009 Burton Hero 158-- Burton's OG V-Rocker. Buttery soft and playful, vrocker, sintered base, spoon tips and frostbite edges. Some nicks in the topsheet from the usual lift line crap, but no base or edge damage. SOLD   2009 Burton Cartel EST, size medium, shop edition-- Limited edition mismatch colorway. Better pics of the colorway here: http://www.evo.com/imgp/750/24053.Image.3.jpg Condition is top notch, next to no fraying, no tears/cracks. SOLD    2007(?) Burton Cartel, Med -- Super responsive, a touch stiffer than current gen Cartel (was the stiffest in Burton's line at the time, though definitely not as stiff as C60s are today). Show some wear in the highback foam, but no functional issues. Has one small surface tear in left ankle strap. Does not affect performance, but thought I'd call it out. Looking for SOLD    Burton Cargo Pants, size L, black -- No tears or signs of wear. Used for about a season before I picked up some AK gear. 10k/10k  SOLD   Burton Element Jacket, Size L, grey "denim" -- Not really a denim but has a textured finish, More of a shell type jacket. Velcro closures are a bit pilled up, but otherwise no real signs of wear. 5k/5k, SOLD   For some reason Picasa won't give me links to direct photos to embed right now, so here's pics of all the gear: https://picasaweb.google.com/BDFoster/November152011?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCIap8ZrMl-GU7wE&feat=directlink Will try and get some more detailed pics of stuff in the next couple days. PM me or post if there's anything you want to specifically see and I'll make it a priority.

1/25/2011 6:46:32 PM On the hunt for new boots, and so need to clear out some stuff to raise some funds. prices are without shipping. PM me for shipping quotes: --Cartel EST, sz Large, Magenta Madness $140 shippedPossibly my favorite binding in the dopest and most high demand colorway Burton has put out. EST so only works with ICS boards-- tiny spot of wear inside one strap. Toe sliders have been replaced with black instead of original white (can get white if you want the original look, I think the black looks better)
12/8/2010 7:03:29 PM So I'm curious to hear from those who have intimate experience with the Union line how much stiffness the carbon injection adds to those models that have it (Danny Kass, Ultrafear, Force SL etc) how much the carbon injection changes the overall stiffness from the binding it's built off originally (Flite, Contact, Force). Does the DK get as stiff as a regular Force, for example? Haven't really had a chance to do a solid comparison on the similar models, so curious if anyone has.
10/14/2010 8:47:21 AM Trying to clean out some stuff that I just don't get enough use out of, so figured it's time for a garage sale of sorts: 156 Capita Sierrascope SOLD Pristine condition, less than a eight days on the snow. If you're here, you probably know this, but: Horrorscope shape, Indoor Survival guts, Green Machine Construction. It's like a Horrorscope on steroids that can kill the whole mountainBurton P1.1 white large SOLD Basetray is a tad dirty and toe sliders were trimmed so they didn't hang into the channel on the toe cap, but replacements are on the way from Burton and will ship with bindings. Otherwise these are like new (less than 1/2 dozen days on the snow)</span>154 Burton Tadashi Fuse SOLD The Snow Ninja's pro-model before he moved to the X8, this thing is an all mountain freestyle killer. Too small for me to ride (took to pay off a debt with the intent of a buddy riding), but I've heard compared to the Uninc. Some cosmetic damage (dings in the topsheet from lift lines, minor topsheet cracking). Base and edges are in great shape. 157 Ride DH2 DFC SOLD Would be riding as my all mountain stick if it was a little longer, Really smooth riding poppy deck that's still soft enough between the feet to butter. pristine conditionRome 390 black L/XL SOLD less than a dozen days on the snow. Killer all around binding with the best toe cap design in the business. I've got other pairs I'm ridingPics of all the gear can be found: HERE I'll happily take any specific shots people want to see of any of the gear. PM me to discuss or w/ offers. Asking prices do not include shipping, might be willing to negotiate on purchases of multiple items Taking offers on brand new 159 RCrew also.
9/23/2010 12:26:31 PM Looking for Medium or Large Cartels from last year. Preferably Bitter Orange but would consider Black or the Purps if the price is right. PM me with what you've got.

6/14/2010 8:16:23 AM Seriously.... I can't make this stuff up.  [tube]qVE60zwXx1k[/tube] I almost posted this in the funny video thread, but it was too bizarre to miss.
5/25/2010 8:37:15 AM Now that I've decided I can't get my butt over to Japan's Mount Midoriyama (see http://g4tv.com/ninjawarrior/-- the best obstacle course ever) I think I found what I'm spending my summer training for. Behold.... The WARRIOR DASH! http://www.warriordash.com/register2010_northeast.php From the site:"Warrior Dash is the ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes. This running series is held on some of the nation's most demanding and unique terrain. Participants will conquer extreme obstacles and celebrate their feat with music, beer, warrior helmets and muddy shorts."
3/4/2010 6:30:53 AM So it looks like my season might be done. Went night-riding last night, and managed to catch the last chair up right as the lifts were closing at 10. Took a lap through the mini-park with a bunch of other riders, and went to hit a (relatively) minor kicker. I had hit it earlier in the evening and it was a bit rutted, but I rode it out fine, and I had just watched a couple other riders hit the kicker. Well anyway, nose landed in a rut crosswise and jammed up the board, and I went tumbling ass over teakettle, jamming up my shoulder in the process. I thought it was just bruised up good, and after  a few minutes laying there, got my butt up and rode out the rest of the run.  Of course, by the time I got to the bottom my shoulder was screaming, so I headed over to the Red Cross building to get checked out. Guy there helped me strip down, since my shoulder was useless at that point, and when we got to my baselayer he pointed out we didn't need to do anymore, since he could see my left collarbone sticking out with the base layer on. Long story short, I managed to get the 90 mins back home 1/2 driving myself and 1/2 family meeting me on the way and driving my car the rest of the way home. Went to the hospital and my Xrays show my left collarbone is in 4 pieces. Need to see an orthopedist to figure out what they need to do about it-- so far I've just got a sling and some pain meds. Right now it looks like I might be done for the season though. UGh.

2/23/2010 8:59:09 AM So I won the Shakapalooza trip, and was all set to trade my $250 Sierra credit for a Southwest Voucher until I realized that I can't get home in time on Monday with Southwests schedule. I'm hoping against all hope that someone out there has some miles they'd be willing to trade to get me to the mountain. I'm looking to get Hartford (BDL) to Sea-tac (SEA) on Friday morning and return home on some sort of redeye Sunday night (need to get into Hartford before 3PM Monday) Things I have to offer as trade:Art: (here's some samples http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=22946&PN=1&PID=637485#637485)$250 Sierra Credit from my winningsBurton P1.1 bindings size LargeRide DH2 DFC 157Anything else I'm not thinking of.... PM me if you've got any kind of hook-up that might make this happen
2/5/2010 7:17:09 PM So I've been thinking of picking up some impact gear as I spend more time in the park (I'm an old man). T-pro stuff is looking out of budget, and Red stuff is lacking in coverage. I'm wondering if anyone has used Six Six one stuff though?  Specifically I'm looking at the bomber shorts: http://www.sixsixone.com/Catalog_661Moto.aspx?id=0aaf792e-3bea-49a6-b029-164093fd405a&product=0e176e89-fc18-40ac-a4e5-edac4a2663aaand the Assault Pressure suit: http://www.sixsixone.com/Catalog_661Moto.aspx?id=7d0d2e92-4931-4156-8f0d-c8bff7e861c4&product=af46c69c-cd74-4069-891b-d033fea8f3af Anyone have any experience with either, or with the brand as a whole?
