7/6/2010 3:44:02 PM Thanks to everyone's contributions and little ole me's time spent collecting all of the data I have updated the Region/Location Resorts section on the profile. All of you who were asking for resorts and such in your areas that weren't listed should find what you are looking for. If there are any missing as of this point please feel free to post them here. Thank You, Nighthawk
6/23/2010 12:39:24 PM So we broke down the different categories a bit more in order to make things easier to find for new and existing customers/members. We also added an "All Categories" button. What do you guys think? If you notice anything that looks incorrect or isn't working post it here.
6/11/2010 11:02:25 AM So this place servers up amazing coupon deals if a big enough "Group" sign up for the "Coupon", thus... Groupon. Check it out... http://www.groupon.com/r/uu3694161
6/4/2010 5:28:51 PM There have been several request to provide some sort of privacy filter on sensitive information that we request on the profile pages. I'm looking for some feedback from you all as to what info you feel is important enough to turn on/off from the public. As far as I can see birthdate, height, and weight are sensitve areas for some. Anything else?
6/4/2010 5:26:40 PM In light of the recent profile upgrade and the demand for more options in the resorts section including a Mid-West Region we will be taking suggestions to update our outdated list. Please post the resorts you'd like to see listed that are not currently available. Also if anyone knows of a good resource for an all inclusive list of resorts feel free to post it. I'm sure there is one if I were to google it but it's time to head out shortly and I like to see what you guys will do for me, it makes me feel powerful and important. Nighthawk Cacawww
5/28/2010 3:39:55 PM New Profile Pages are up. We're currently testing to make sure everything made it up to the live site. Please feel free to report any bugs here and we will take a look as we get through the upgrade. Thank You. ~Nighthawk CAWWW
5/25/2010 11:51:15 AM So the new season is starting up soon and I know I'm a fan of the show. There have been some pretty amazing talent and my favorite so far is Phillip Chbeeb. This year they are bringing back some of the top contenders to be a part of the show, I'm not sure what they will be doing but i hope he is one of them. Anyone else a fan? Post your favorite contestants videos.
4/22/2010 2:19:11 PM All Staff and Expert Members now have the ability to "Flag" posts that are not adding to the general content/conversation of the thread it's posted in.  If you get 30 of your posts flagged as not being content worthy, you will no longer be able to post in the forums without having a staff review your posts and deem whether you will be given another opportunity to try again. If you have points on the post date you will lose one point per flagged post on that date up to the max point per post limit. Some ways that your posts will be flagged are by: - Posting something saying that a photo or video is funny in the Funny Pictures thread.  Clearly they're funny, that's why they were posted.  Post up some more funny content to add to the thread. - Posting one word posts that don't offer any conversation to the topic at hand. - Making a random post in a thread that doesn't relate to the topic at hand. I could go on for days with the examples, but I think it's pretty clear.  We're just asking that you post things that add to the conversation and not nonsense just to get another point on your account. If you get flagged 30+ times, you'll need to contact a staff member to check into your post history.  Feel free to contact little ole me and we'll see where you go from there.

1/20/2010 3:34:42 PM
1/12/2010 3:10:20 PM It's been well over four years since I went snowboarding and even then I could count the number of times I'd been on my fingers and toes. After being apart of Sierra Snowboard both as a staff and community member for almost a year and a half, my first day back at the 'Board Meeting' with expert members and staff felt like my first real day as a snowboarder. I spent it one on one with a Burton Academy instructor and was able to get my legs back under me and obtain some great insight on how to break down my moves in a progressive manner. Last Sunday was my first "real" day out on my own and it was amazing. I don't know if it's the excitement I feel from being around all of these amazing community members day after day, or working in an environment full of other people who are passionate about riding. All I can think about is how I can get up to the hill and get another day under my belt. I just want to get better so I can go ride with everyone and not get left behind. I just want to ride.
12/30/2009 2:39:45 PM I'm most likely coming to NY in early February, who lives there?
11/20/2009 9:38:38 AM *** WARNING **** LONG READ, THOUGHT OUT POST SO IF IT'S TOO EARLY FOR YOU TO THINK RIGHT NOW COME BACK LATER **************** So in light of Guth's rant this morning and my DAILY frustration with my hour commute where I encounter countless imbeciles on the road. I have been devising a solution. With the increasingly automated features being developed in cars such as automatic parallel parking and collision detection I propose the following concept. As you pull up to a group of cars your cars intellisense automatically joins their wireless network  ( with restricted access of course ). There is bound be congestion with the number of drivers on the road but now instead of completely relying on individual drivers breaking and accelerating your car detects through the network what is going on at the front of the pack. If the cars up front are accelerating, every car in the network detects this and suggestively starts to accelerate as well.  When the front of the pack has to slow to let in traffic or for merges, the rest of the network picks up on this and automatically slows down. Thats the general concept, of course you would be able to override and break away from this but for those who want to help traffic move along, and prevent the stop and go that is created by people breaking to soon and accelerating to late, you can let the intellisense take over for the rest of your commute. Your only requirements would be to steer and even that can be adjusted, and of course to break for your exit. You could even initiate a command notifying your car of what exit you need to take and it can automatically communicate with the networked cars and negotiate a merge in a timely manner, automatically adjusting the cars in both lanes to make it a smooth transition.
