11/15/2013 3:38:34 PM It's their womens pro model (also customizable with other womens parts)
11/13/2013 9:47:21 PM They're both going to hold you to the board ;) color matters haha
11/13/2013 5:53:51 PM peekaboo. My top binding picks: Switchback, Flux, Union, Burton, Ride. Switchbacks <3 are my new love... they're not particularly stiff, but they are so comfy, the most comfortable bindings I think I have ever stepped in. Solid good ride. I would take these over the Flux's and Union's I currently ride. Check their womens model *you can also custom build you own with different options* Flux GU30's and GU15's ride the same: smooshy, not stiff, still very responsive, comfy, durable, ratchets are no problem, nothing has ever broken on them or come loose, my only wish is that the tray was a tad tighter to the boot... both these models have urethane highbacks though, maybe check the GM binding for extra stiffness as suggested above. Union's in general are great bindings, durable, good and responsive, good adjustable parts, I have broken 3 pairs of trilogies though, and always had great service from Union (rad company), I keep riding them because I like them, but they have their weak-points too *toe strap*. stay away from the Milan if you want stiff, go higher up their line as suggested, the Legacy or Trilogy would do ya fine. I would say the Burtons are probably the best bet for stiffness (not overall best comfort), I prefer the straps of other companies, and overall fit of other binding trays - but they are probably the 'stiffest' as suggested - Escapade and Lexa are both solid. Ride makes some rather stiff bindings in my opinion, I like them, they ride great, but the ratchets are a huge pain... maybe they have improved that this year? That's their major downfall IMO. Dont know which model to suggest but I've ridden a few, all were great (save for that annoying ratchet issue).
11/13/2013 3:55:14 PM Bump. I'm still around! Email your orders to me please (easier for me to keep track of them)
11/13/2013 3:49:56 PM If there's any ladies looking for some solid picks for this winter here are some of my favs for the season: Bataleon Distortia (with switchback bindings) definitely a fun ride, this board has TBT (Triple base technology) which basically means the edges of the board are lifted and dont contact the snow. I felt like this really gave the board a 'rolly' feeling when riding, my first run I was sure I didnt like it, but it didnt take long for me to fall in love. I am sold on the TBT - although it feels very different - I like it. The boards got lots of great pop which was fun for launching off rollers on the hill and side hits, easy edge to edge, great hold - with the TBT you have to 'get over' the fact that you have to get the board to its edge - once its there it will hold, you wont just keep 'rolling' haha. The most fun I think I had on this board though was just flat out front boarding on nothing down the hill... Thank you TBT that was never fun until now. I think this board will put smiles on gals faces everywhere!! **Board is similar to the Lobster Jibboard** As for the switchbacks, *DROOL* this is my new fav binding, more so then the Unions and the Flux's... exceptional fit, great hold, simple easy to use and adjust, great colors, and fun idea... good brand I would be happy to support. Roxy Banana Smoothie (with Union Milans) I demoed this board in CO years ago, I think its in my first post..... and I strongly disliked it. I decided to give it another go though, and HOLY MOLY! LOVE IT!!! I really enjoyed the magnatraction this time round, dont know if it's my one personal riding style that has changed or the construction, or something else but this board felt great, fast, fun, popy, grippy, super solid ride, easy to carve, I like the C2 profile it all felt wonderful (But I did bring it back to take the Distortia out again). 2nd Fav for this season and I really dig the graphic. As for the Milans, I wish they packed the punch I want them to but they dont, dont get me wrong these are great bindings and I definitely recommend them - I would just personally chose something else... or am still on the hunt for something better fitting/more comfortable and supportive then Unions *AHEM.switchbacks.AHEM* Hoping to either pick up both this year, or one... Also still in the quiver:156 Charlie Slasher,144 Ride OMG,143 Capita SMF,138 Sierra V-spot To be determined, waiting to hear back and see if I will be adding a 154 Whitegold Shaka to my pack : ) and some of those wonderful Switchbacks. euhm last but not least I demoed the Capita Birds of a feather, and was terrribly disappointed :-( I love this brand and always back them but this board fell totally flat to my ideas of something 'fun to ride'... I didn't like one thing about it (except the amazing graphic it boasts). I'll just sum it up with it wasnt my cup of tea.

Im not dead. My whole life has changed dramatically though. I just read some of the comments in here, I agree with the majority of them. It sure aint no Sierra. I just wanted to pop back in and say I love you guys. I miss everything about Sierra so much. I miss traveling to see you guys and riding with you all. I miss you all making fun of me constantly. Well GUESS WHO HAS A TAN NOW. YUP :-D Good luck Doug, last man standing :) I appreciate all the effort you and the other staff put in for us along the way. We know you tried hard. So thanks. I miss helping people pick out gear, I miss being the person that helps change someones life and helps them enjoy snowboarding more!!!!!!!! The forum lost it's appeal to me as more and more and mooooore and moooooooooooore people came around (mostly for points). I frequent EL's forum now as it seems smaller and not like a garden over run by weeds. Anyway, Im enjoying my summer but winters never off the mind :)   just waiting for snow as usual!!!!!!! MISS & LOVE YOU ALL
