3/24/2012 1:55:36 PM We are moving and in cleaning my closet I came across my ol GNU Carbon High Beam 161W that I bought off Sierra back in the day.  Don't need it, so I figured I'd sell it for cheap.  It was ridden once and is in fantastic condition.  Looking for $80 shipped.  If I have time, I'll snap a couple pics of it, but here's an action shot I have handy from the one time I rode it out at Northstar.  It's in pristine condition and it's got some stickers and 6 of these Burton Rivet stomp pads  http://www.the-house.com/bt7alstsi12zz-burton-stomp-pads.html
7/22/2009 9:23:51 AM BOARD HAS BEEN SOLD!  Thanks for looking!
3/2/2009 9:41:49 PM What do you use to protect your gogs while traveling?  Just the microfleece bag?  An Oakley case?  Some other case?    Just curious.  The oakley case seems the best (molded to fit them), but I feel silly spending half of what I spent on the goggles on a case.
2/17/2009 7:27:40 PM So those of you with MTX boards, do you find that the OneBallJay Magne-Tool is really necessary, or can you use a standard file/guide just fine?
3/13/2008 3:47:42 PM You want to be The Guy?  Give it a shot and download the demo.  It's kinda like old school NES Metroid/Mario/Mega Man platformers, but so frustratingly hard, it will make you punch a baby. This game is fucking hard.  There's no mincing words about it.  This game will eat your face off, gnaw on it, spit it back on to your skull, gnaw it back off, rub salt in the wound, urinate on it, and put some whipped cream and a cherry on the bloody mess. And I'm not even done talking about the first few screens.   http://kayin.pyoko.org/iwbtg/downloads.php     Let me know if you need tips on getting past the first screen
3/12/2008 11:21:03 AM Just wanted to make a little good luck thread before Bru goes under the knife tomorrow!  Here's to a quick recovery!  Try to log on and make a couple posts while still under the influence of strong pain meds!
3/10/2008 3:34:33 PM Alright!  Now that SSMB is out and is totally kick ass, let's swap some friend codes so I've got more people to play with (since the random matchup system is teh suck).  Put em up folks!!   8013 9243 2765 7090
2/22/2008 4:27:46 PM So I got my Trice in today, and I've got a delam issue.  There is a 3 inch section about 1 inch deep, where the topsheet has completely separated from the core.  Called SS to get it replaced, and the remaining 157 Trices were sold this morning.  And since I told them to refund me for the one I bought, instead of sending me a second one when I won the Trice in the giveaway on Wednesday, it's not coming and was probably one of the three sold this morning.   So, my question is, do I just return this one to SS and get a refund, and pick out a different board?  Or do I try to get this one replaced through Mervin?  I've been wanting the Trice all season (especially with the 08 topsheet design), I don't even have a clue what other board I'd be interested replacing it with. Thoughts?   The other kicker is that I'm going to Denver from March 6th-9th to ride with Bruizza, and now, more than likely, I'm not going to have a new board to ride out there.    I'm not pissed off or anything, just sad that I might not end up with the Trice I've wanted all season.  SS was more than helpful, but unfortunately, just can't replace the board since you guys snagged the rest of them at these amazing prices
2/18/2008 8:28:32 PM So with many of you living in the SF Bay/Sac Town area, I was wondering if anyone could provide some tips on visiting the Napa Valley area.  My wife and I are trying to book a trip out there for late April/Early May, and I really don't know where to start as far as planning an agenda, or finding the best deals on where to stay.  I think she'd like to stay at a bed and breakfast type place.    Can anyone with any experience in the area offer some suggestions on what the must see places are?  Also, would we be good with a 3 night trip (2 full days in Napa, with two travel days) or should we go for 4 (3 full days)?   Thanks!!
2/17/2008 8:01:48 PM Decided not to sell it after winning the trice.  Keeping the CHB as a backup board.  Thanks for the inquiries.
12/13/2007 8:42:53 AM I'll be checking out of my hotel tomorrow and heading up to Sacramento around 1:30pm.  Plan on heading up to SS to check the place out and meet the crew.  Then either stay around Sac-town and head out to Tahoe early Sat morning, or go ahead on up to Tahoe tomorrow night.   I was wondering if anyone in the Sacramento/Tahoe/inbetween areas would be willing to let me crash overnight before heading out to the slopes on Sat morning.  If you are planning on boarding Sat as well, even better!  I'd love to have some peeps to go out with since I've never been out here and you guys probably know the mtns and slopes better than I do.  Pizza and beer is on me!   Let me know and I'll PM some contact information!
10/30/2007 8:46:40 AM EVERYONE!  Please do not go crazy buying the 08 boards you are seeing at 60% off prices.  This is an error on SS's website and should be corrected as soon as they can get someone on the issue.
10/30/2007 8:45:33 AM Hey everyone, please do not go crazy buying the 08 boards you are seeing at 60% off prices.  This is an error and should be corrected as soon as SS can get someone on the issue.
9/11/2007 9:10:03 PM Ok, so I've decided I need to get a board bag for some air travel I'll be doing this year.  Trying to decide on a size though.  I'm looking mainly at the Burton Wheelie Gig Bag, and was wondering if I need the 166 or the 181.  I know everyone who has it says they fit a ton of stuff in it, but they never say which size bag and what size board they've got in it.  I want to be able to fit my board (160), bindings, boots, and outerwear.  Will the 166 work or do I need the 181?
9/8/2007 2:40:15 PM Ok, puttin some feelers out there for this now.  I will most likely be attending a training class in San Leandro CA from Dec. 10th thru the 14th (just waiting for my boss to approve it next week).  I was wondering how the boarding at Lake Tahoe usually is that time of year.    What I'm thinking about doing is flying into San Francisco on the 10th, attend the class in San Leandro during the week, then hang out in San Francisco or head up to Tahoe and then board somewhere at Lake Tahoe all day Saturday on the 15th, taking a red-eye out of Tahoe back to Savannah, GA Saturday night/Sunday morning.  That way the company pays for all my travel expenses and my hotel Mon - Thurs, and all I have to do is pay for food, beer, and a lift pass.  Sweet!   I know some of you have already bought your passes for that area, you think it'll be ready to carve out there by then?  Anyone interested in joining up?
