11/14/2009 9:04:25 AM Shortly after visiting the Hoon clan and playing with his lovely little girl, my wife has informed me she is preggers. Apparently, babies ARE contagious, be careful kids. What you see below is the beginning of the gnarliest most extreme little Grom the world has yet to know;
10/15/2009 3:37:57 AM OK, so I think I rode this board about three times last year. It's in pretty good condition, some minor scratches on the base and it has some Black Die-cuts on it(the black on black scheme looks pretty sic in sunlight, but they're kind of hard to see any other time). Also some reall minor scratches on the topsheet. I'm not looking to make a bunch of money on this, but the accountant in me won't let me give it away for nothing. PM me an offer if your interested and we'll see if we can work something out. This would make a great board for a bigger guy with big feet thats somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I'll entertain offers on the Rome Machine 159 on the right in the first pic, but it's not in great condition, andhas attained "Magic Board" status. So, I doubt you'll offer enough for me to want to let it go
8/12/2009 9:58:46 AM got this in an email, figured I'd share......   This took place in Charlotte North Carolina.   A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire.   Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars, the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company.   In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost 'in a series of small fires.' The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion. The lawyer sued and WON! (Stay with me.) Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that the claim was frivolous. The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer held a policy from the company, in which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable 'fire' and was obligated to pay the claim.   Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the cigars that perished in the 'fires'.    NOW FOR THE BEST PART .... After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him arrested on 24 counts of ARSON! With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine. This true story won First Place in last year's Criminal Lawyers Award contest. ONLY IN AMERICA .... NO WONDER THE REST OF THE WORLD THINKS WE'RE NUTS!!
6/29/2009 10:02:50 AM http://voices.washingtonpost.com/economy-watch/2009/06/madoff_to_be_sentenced_today.html?hpid=topnews rot in jail, and when you're done there go to hell

4/20/2009 10:54:35 AM So, if you've been around for a while you know that JohnnyBibs has been an off and on member of the Sierra Community that mostly spews inflammatory nonsense. He's been banned a couple times and like that STD your ex gave you just keeps comin' back. So how long 'til he gets his next beating from the ban-hammer? Place your bets. PS, Johnny I hope you prove me wrong on this one your waaaaaaayyyyy too young to be as closed minded as you come off on here.
2/25/2009 8:09:49 AM I'm sure lots of you already know I'm gonna be in CO riding on 3/6-3/8. I like meeting people so if you can meet up, it looks like we'll be riding mostly Keystone with a day at Breck. Get at me and we'll work some details. Bru, What time do liquor stores close there? I'm gonna need something to fill my flasks with for Friday and I'm guessing Liquor stores won't be open yet when we're rollin to the Mtn in the morning.
2/25/2009 7:49:42 AM So I realized lately that the only things I've been posting in the Randomness thread were complaining about my job and I felt that everyone shouldn't have to read it if they don't want to. I figured I'm not the only person that complains about my job, so this way we can all bitch about our jobs and know there are other people around who don't like their job too. So I'll start, I love how it always seems to happen that when I have the most work to do, I have to sit through silly conference calls all morning preventing me from actually doing the functional portions of my work.
2/13/2009 12:13:16 PM So I had reconstructive surgery on my nose this morning. This is the first surgery I've ever actually had done. I probably should have had surgery a couple times but chose to just do PT instead. Man does it suck. I also found out that painkillers don't seem to work on me like they do on normal people.  Not a good way to come out of anestesia take my word on it, and because they had to keep giving painkillers through the I.V. I had to stay in the recovery room for about 2.5 hrs, so they could get the pain under control and get my Blood Pressure down. Anybody else got any surgery stories?  Me in the recovery room after they switched to morphine and finally strarted doing some good.
2/7/2009 10:47:12 AM So, some of you have probably heard me talk about my boys the Supervillains before. They're some of my best friends form growin' up in the FL, and I think they're a pretty kick-ass band. They recently came out with their first video, and I figured I'd see what you guys thought. They 're a fusion of ska punk reggae, w/a little hip hop and pop influence. If you like feel free to check out more of their stuff @ The Supervillains http://www.vimeo.com/2682102 I tried for about a half hour to get this to embed but it didn't work, Sorry
