10/11/2011 3:49:04 PM Since I have went into crazy spending mode recently, I suppose it's time to try and sell some stuff that I don't use. No idea why the pictures are so huge, but I don't feel like trying to fix it right now, lol. ThirtyTwo Lashed Fast Track Women's boots, size 10:I put these on one time, and they didn't fit in my bindings that I was using at the time, so I literally had them on for 10 minutes at the most. They are in brand new condition. $125 shipped Burton Stiletto Women's bindings, size L:These bindings were used for two seasons, and they do have a bit of wear and tear on them, but all in all, they are in good condition. $50 shipped Burton Women's Stow Cargo pants, size L, Lust Plaid:I wore these pants for one season. They have a couple of stains on the back and side, but they aren't super noticeable unless you are looking for them (pictured below). $30 shipped Stain on back pocket: Stains on leg: Burton Women's Stow Cargo Pants, size L, black:I wore these pants one season as well. The only wear and tear on these is a burn mark on one of the knees from coming down on my knee on a box, and some dirt and fraying at the bottom of the pants from the parking lot. $30 shipped You can see the burn mark on the knee in this picture. It doesn't normally show up that much, but the flash intensified it: Fraying on cuff: Burton Women's Sleeper hoodie, size XL, black:I bought this a couple of years ago and it is way too big for me. I expected it to run small like most womens hoodies do, but it doesn't because it is supposed to be loose and comfy for traveling and lodge pimping. It's still in great condition. I don't have the special features that it came with (neck pillow, ear plugs, etc...), but it's still a really nice hoodie. $25 shipped ($100 new) The Burton actually doesn't show up that bold in person, the flash just makes it stand out more: Women's Under Armour hoodie, size L:I paid like $60 for this hoodie, and I have never worn it, so it's new without tags. $20 shipped Women's RED impact shorts, size L, black and pink:I wore these the first season that I learned to snowboard, never since. They have padding in the tailbone and hip areas. Great for a beginner. $20 shipped Burton Women's Player Hooded Tee, size L, light blue:Got this from my mom for christmas one year and I've never worn it. It still has the tags on it. $20 shipped Burton Women's Formula jacket, size L:I have no idea what year this jacket is. Friend of mine bought it off ebay to wear when I took her snowboarding, she ended up only going one time, so I'm selling it for her. The jacket was used when she got it, so there are some light stains and discolorations, but there are no rips or tears or any other wear other than that. Jacket is really warm and comfortable$30 shipped
9/3/2010 11:22:59 AM I decided to clean out my snowboarding room and get rid of some stuff that I don't need anymore. All of the gear and clothing are women's, but there are a few electronic items that the guys might be interested in, I'll list them first to make it easier. I will only ship within the U.S. and shipping will be $5 per item (except for the snowboard/bindings, which is $15 for shipping).     Sanyo Xacti YPC-CA6 Weather Proof Digital Video Camera: Like New, only used a few times. Asking $85, PM me with all reasonable offers.   This video camera is perfect for recording with friends while snowboarding. It's weather proof, so you don't have to worry about dropping it in the snow, and it fits in your hand really nicely. It also comes with an optional wrist strap.   MPEG-4 with stereo sound 6.0 Megapixel Optical 5.0x zoom 2.0 inch LCD screen Weather Proof     Zune HD 32GB Platinum:  SOLD!!! Like new, only used a few times. Asking $125 (Retails: $215), PM me with all reasonable offers.   I recieved this for Christmas and I just never really used it. It's an awesome little device, and I really hate to part with it, but I just don't use it enough.   32GB Plays HD video Plays HD radio Touch screen     Zune 80GB Black w/lots of accessories: Like new, only used a few times. Asking $100, PM me with all reasonable offers.   Includes 3 different cases and a screen protector.       08 Burton Stigma 148 w/09 Flow Minx bindings: USED: Good Condition Asking $200, PM me with all reasonable offers (will consider selling separately).   The board is in good used condition. Other than a few nicks on the sides from ice chunks (I live in the midwest, lol) and needing a wax, this board is in great shape. The bindings have only been used twice, so they are in perfect condition.      (the white streak by the top binding is from the flash on my phone, there isn't really a white streak there)       Burton Moto Women's Boots: Size 10 Black/Red Used: Good Condition Asking $35, PM me with all reasonable offers.   I wore these boots my first season, and they are still in great shape. The only sign of wear is on the left boot from resting my board while on the lift, and it's very minimal.       2010 ThirtyTwo Lashed Women's Fast Track Boots: Size 10 White/Gold Like New condition, I only made one run in them. Asking $125       08 Burton Women's Stow Cargo Pants: Size L: Black Used: Good Condition Asking $30, PM me with all reasonable offers.   These pants are really comfortable. They are still in great shape, but they do have some wear around the bottoms from walking to and from the car, and they have a burn mark on the left knee from falling on a box, which is pictured below.          08 Burton Women's Stow Cargo Pants: Size L: Gridlock Plaid Used: Good condition Asking $30, PM me with all reasonable offers.   These pants are really comfortable. They have some stains on the back pockets and the side pocket from the lifts (pictured below), but other than that they are still in great shape.           08 RED Women's Impact Shorts: Size L: Black/Pink Used: Good Condition Asking $30, PM me with all reasonable offers.
3/28/2010 6:04:11 PM We had a concert thread last year, so here is one for this year (rather than bringing back last years and possibly confusing someone). Everyone post up the concerts you are planning on going to.   So far I have lined up:   Weezer on June 11th (just bought my tickets)   Mayhem Fest on July 31st: Lineup includes: Korn, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch, Atreyu, Norma Jean, 3 Inches of Blood, In This Moment, Hatebreed, Chimaira, Shadows Fall, and Winds of Plague.   and either:   May Day on May 29th: Lineup includes: Three Days Grace, Bullet For My Valentine, Puddle of Mudd, Cage The Elephant, Apocolyptica, and Halestorm.   or:   Rock on the Range on May 22nd and 23rd: Lineup includes: Godsmack, Rob Zombie, Three Days Grace, Limp Bizkit, Rise Against, Seether, Slash, Deftones, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Coheed and Cambria, Theory of a Deadman, Mastadon, Killswitch Engage, Bullet For My Valentine, Puddle of Mudd, Sevendust, Drowning Pool, Skillet, Apocalyptica, Halestorm, Escape The Fate, Cold, Anberlin and more...   Obviously, I would rather go to ROTR over May Day, considering everyone except Cage The Elephant is going to be at ROTR that is going to be at May Day, but ROTR is a 2 day concert (2 days I'd have to miss work), tickets cost twice as much, and it's 3 hours from where I live, where as May Day is only an hour and I would only have to miss half a day of work. I'm waiting to see what the schedule is going to be, because if most of the bands I want to see are playing on the same day, maybe I will just buy a 1 day ticket and go and not go to May Day. Most likely I will be going to May day, though.
3/6/2010 3:13:10 PM I'm selling my brand new 2010 ThirtyTwo Lashed Fast Track boots. They are women's size 10. I put them on one time and decided I wasn't a fan of the Fast Track system. They are white and gold and are in perfect, new condition. Retail is $215, I'm asking $100 shipped.
8/19/2009 7:19:33 PM I just saw the teaser trailer for Fable III. It really doesn't show you much (thats the whole point of a teaser trailer), but it has me all excited, because I am a BIG fan of the Fable series. They are calling for a late 2010 release date, so hopefully it doesn't end up getting pushed back until 2011, but we all know how that goes.   You can see the trailer here: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gc-09-fable-3/54431   Is anyone else as excited as me?
8/10/2009 8:15:02 PM After getting home at nearly 10 o'clock from a horrible 13 hour work day (followed by hubby's softball game and a speeding ticket for me on the way home), my next door neighbors come over to my house with their little kid (who I am assuming is somewhere between the ages of 12 and 14). The poor kid was staring at the ground and looked like he'd like to throw himself off the nearest cliff, so I knew he was scared and embarrassed about something. The kid's mom then informs me that the 17-18 year old kid that lives across the street from us had apparently shown her son how to steal our wireless internet access with his PSP, and the kids had been using our internet. I felt bad for the kid and didn't understand why they were making such a big deal out of kids being kids, so I told him it was okay and I wasn't mad at him, and told his parents that I would turn on my password protection so it wouldn't happen again.   Then the mother smacks him on the back of the head and says, "Now tell them what you were looking at." At this point, the kid looks like he just might burst into tears at any moment, and he mumbles, "Adult pictures."   I came seriously close to busting out laughing at this point, but I figured the poor kid was embarrassed enough as it was, and I didn't want to add to his shame, so I just stood there in discomfort wishing that they could have saved the poor kid the embarrassment and just left that part out.   As if I weren't uncomfortable enough already, the parents then asked me to give the kid a punishment that I saw fit for what he had done so that he could make it up to me. I refused and told them that I'm pretty sure the embarrassment of having to tell us what he had done was punishment enough, let alone the fact that they said they had taken all of his electronics away as well.   I must say, that was one of the most uncomfortable conversations I've ever had with one of my neighbors.

3/24/2009 8:55:20 PM So after 2 days in Breck, I am in love, and want to stay forever, lol. Our view from our window is of the Beaver Run Superchair (which is right outside, and takes all of 2 minutes to get to). It took me a couple runs to get used to the powder, since I've never really ridden powder, because it doesn't really exist in Indiana, lol, but after I got used to it, I was having a blast. My favorite run so far is Spitfire at the top of Peak 10. It winds around through the trees, and I really like it. I hit the little park (Eldorado) a few times, but I didn't push my luck on the larger ones today. I've been off of riding for 3 weeks, so I was really sore and tired today.   Tomorrow we are going to ride some more of Breck I think, then Thursday we are probably hitting Vail or Keystone.
3/20/2009 9:53:44 PM So as most of you know, I'm getting married tomorrow. Well my fiance and I are going to Breck for a week for our honeymoon. I was just putting our boards and things in our wheelie locker when my fiance realized that his brand new board that I bought him at the beginning of the season is breaking :(. It's actually an older board, but it was still brand new when we got it this year, it had never been ridden. It's an '04 Burton Dominant (with the gatorskin, which my fiance loves. He has the Ion's that match, as well as the Anon goggles that match). Anyways, the top sheet has a crack by the front binding, and upon further investigation, it seems to be making it's way into the core.   So now we are afraid that we are going to get out to Breck, and its going to break completely. He has another board (it's the exact same board, except it's the slick version), which we are taking as a backup, but he really doesn't want to have to ride that one, because it's really strictly for park use.   I told him he can look for a new board when we get out there, and if he finds one that he likes, I will buy it for him as a wedding gift.   It just sucks, because he has had terrible luck with his gear this year. His slick broke (it's still rideable, but his edges are falling out), his binding broke our first day riding (the baseplate snapped in half), and his helmet speakers broke on our last day riding (he already bought new ones for our trip).   On a lighter note though, I managed to fit 3 snowboards, 2 pairs of boots, and 3 pairs of bindings in our 156 wheelie locker. I was amazed! It's pretty heavy now, but thats okay since we are driving instead of flying.
3/16/2009 10:42:19 PM I see that the new Sierra shirts came in. I was wondering how the women's shirts fit? I've got rather big boobs, so sometimes it's hard for me to wear women's t-shirts if they fit small, 'cause they squish the girls, lol.
3/6/2009 2:10:33 PM So, my fiance and I decided to go riding today, even though it was almost 70 degrees. Our local hill closes tomorrow, so we wanted to get one more day of riding in, even if it wouldn't be a good one. Yesterday the snow was getting pretty slushy, but it was still decent and we had a pretty good time. Today, we get there, and overnight everything had melted like crazy, and there wasn't a whole lot of snow left on the trails, and what was left was nothing but slush. The first run down, I'm following behind my fiance about 30 feet, he's on the right side of the trail, and I'm on the left, then he goes over a roller where I can't see him anymore, and then as I pop over the roller, I see him directly in my path, right in front of me, skidding across the ground. I tried to carve, but I couldn't catch my edge, so I tried to sit down, but it was too late... I jibbed my fiance like a rail, and then did a front flip.   He thinks it's funny, because he now has a bruise in the shape of the nose of my snowboard on his right shoulder. I just feel really bad, because I know it had to hurt, even though he swears it didn't. He just keeps teasing me about trying to use him as a park feature, lol.   So yeah, that was a pretty interesting way to end our season. Hopefully our week in Breck will go better than today did, lol.
2/21/2009 7:20:12 AM Sorry if this has been done in the past, but what kind of music do you guys like to listen to when you are riding, or even driving in the car on the way to go riding.   For me, I listen to a lot of heavier stuff on my way to the slopes. Mostly Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, and Trivium. It gets me pumped up.   Depending on what type of riding I'm doing, I like to listen to different music. If I'm just carving and buttering and stuff, I usually listen to something like Kids by MGMT and In The Morning by Junior Boys. If I'm park riding though, it's all about the rock music, getting me pumped up.   Again, sorry if this has been done before, which it probably has, I'm just curious. I'm always looking for something new to listen to.
2/18/2009 12:07:21 PM I've got a Women's '08 Burton Stigma 152 snowboard with Burton Stiletto bindings, size large for sale. I rode this setup last year for about 3 months, so they are used, but they are in great condition. The only wear on the snowboard is on the bottom of the deck, and it is just a few black streaks from riding a pipe. There are a few small knicks on the sides of the top sheet, but nothing extremely noticeable, and nothing that affects the way the board rides. As for the bindings, they are also in great condition. The only wear on those are on the bottoms of the highbacks, which is just from rubbing against the back of the baseplate.   If you want to see pictures, just let me know and I can e-mail you as many as you'd like.   I'm asking $200 o.b.o.   The board was $350 originally, and the bindings were $150.
