8/31/2010 8:52:03 PM Wow! I just realized that today marks 5 years that I've been on these forums. Even crazier is that I'm still not at 1000 posts, and I'm on here nearly every day. Anti post hussy I guess. To all those who I know: thanks for being such a great community and I can't believe it's been 5 years!
5/12/2010 7:21:42 PM So, I'm addicted to this show, I like it better than Band of Brothers. I know it's almost over, but is anyone else watching this? Discuss.
5/11/2010 7:32:45 PM Hey there! So I want to trade my 08 UNINC 158 without bindings for a bigger deck. This board has only been ridden a handful of times and is in near perfect condition(ask our own MTpow, he just rode it at Squaw last month). So, anyone with a deck size 162 or bigger that wants to trade hit me up. I don't care what brand or style deck you have, if it's a 62 or bigger lets see it!
1/17/2010 10:56:30 PM This sucks, first KP, now this............. http://www.boardistan.com/?p=13175
10/12/2009 11:35:11 AM It's pretty much like new, ridden a handful of times. $190.
10/12/2009 11:31:08 AM So, I've got some 09 Red/Black Frankin-force's here in a L/XL. I'm looking to trade for some white or black one's. Very Good condition. I'll put up some pics.
10/5/2009 2:19:13 PM been bestowed upon me. The man, the myth:JeffSoSavvy's Skate Banana.! I am looking forward to continuing the tradition of this fine snowboard. I was away from the original SB for a season, lets see if it's as fun as I remember it is. Hope you like your new deck Jeff!
10/1/2009 8:51:35 PM http://jeremyjones.net/ Interesting.......... I wonder what his plans are? Let the guessing begin.
4/18/2009 2:09:55 PM lAST DAY AT nORTHSTAR tomorrow who's gonna be there? Mike M i know you will, who else is down!!?? Damn you caps lock
2/1/2009 10:25:17 AM http://www.snowboard-revolution.com/news/CROSLAND-_-Pete-Sarri-Talks-Whats-New-at-Mervin.html Whats Hot - Pete Sarri Talks Whats New at Mervin Posted by: admin in Snow & Skate Mervin has been around a long time making GNU and Lib Tech Snowboards. So long, that the only other company that has continuously survived as long as them is Burton. Mike Olson started making boards in 1977 and co-founder Pete Sarri joined him and Mervin was formed in like 1984. Mike and Pete are not just the heads of the companies they are in the factory getting dirty, making boards and coming up with new designs. They came up with the Skate Banana a few years ago and everyone is pretty much copying them. These guys are innovators, not followers. This year they have a lot of new things; asymmetrical boards, Banana boards with double camber, outerwear, rear entry bindings and more! Pete Sarri was nice enough to let me pull him away from the dozens of people trying to talk him at SIA to explain some of the biggest new ideas from the crew at Mervin. SR: Can you tell me about the Park Pickle? PS: The Park Pickle is a twin asymmetrical Banana. What’s new about it? It’s got Banana technology rocker between your feet, flat to the contacts, that sort or revolutionized modern freestyle, jib all terrain and works in park, powder – everywhere! Since your feet are asymmetric; your toes have sensitive control, your heels have power and your ankles on your heel side, we decided to bring back an old concept and make it new again. On a Banana, you can have your stance centered. In the old days there were asymmetrical side cuts with a different side cut on the toe than on the heel side edge. They were designed to be set back so people had to have a whole bunch of hole patterns to make them work to go both ways. With Banana Tech you can ride centered so you don’t need a whole bunch of inserts and you can make a board that will work for both regular and goofy that’s got an asymmetric side cut on it and so. We put the deeper side cut on the heel side because again on the heel side you have power but you don’t have control so that gives you a little more hookup and you get tighter radius turns on your heel side. Toe side you can feather and micro-control your edge set so you can generally pick your own radius because your toes are like your fingers and your heels are like your palms. So you have power versus finesse. Also the way your foot is built you can lift your heel a lot higher than you can lift your toe so you can get a more aggressive angle of attack with a mellower side cut on your toe. It actually balances your body from one side cut to the other. When you start riding the first few runs will be a little weird, and then you get used to it and forget you even have it. It feels really nice, you just know you got a weapon in your back pocket for your heel side turn; you suddenly just whip it if you want to SR: So unlike the olden days with asymmetrical side cuts on directional boards – they weren’t that rad to ride switch? PS: That was actually twisted, this is one side cut on the one side and different side cut on the heel side. We also do an asymmetrical core profile. We do a softer core on the<
1/22/2009 4:42:15 PM ouch, I'd need a beer (or seven) after this little diddy..... http://espn.go.com/action/xgames/winterx13/snowboarding/blog?post=3853144
1/11/2009 9:31:49 PM I have an extra deck......153 Mc Kink btx, with the snake graphic. It's been ridden a total of two days, maybe one tiny scratch on the base, otherwise brand new. Sick board, snatch it up. $390. I will put up pics tomorrow. http://www.lib-tech.com/snowboards/mc.html ok........got some picks up
12/31/2008 9:22:57 AM Hey, so I'm getting a blueray player. My T.V. only has one hdmi port, and it's currently being used by my hd cable box. So my question is, can I get a splitter for the hdmi port and have the blueray player and the box pluged into the same hdmi port? If so, is this my best option, or is there a better way to do it? I have googled this by the way, can't seem to find any great info.... Thanks.
