12/5/2012 3:34:41 PM Anybody want to hit up Sierra on Sunday?
1/4/2012 2:39:48 PM Is it a sin to consider becoming a skier?
3/27/2011 8:02:20 PM Ok...so here's the story.  It has been snowing in Tahoe, a lot, for the past month.  Every time in the past month I have ridden with my friend it has been a powder day.  Every time he asks me, "Do you think the parks will be open" "can we ride park".  It's a powder day, and not six inches of powder, 10, 12, 14 and some days we even had 18-24 inch overnight fall.  He says he is tired of riding powder.  I keep telling him he isn't a real snowboarder if he would rather be hitting (medium) park features instead of hitting backcountry gates and sick ass tree runs at Northstar, Sierra, and Heavenly.  Here is the question: On a powder day would you ride park?   I keep referring him to this video, the first 15 seconds says it all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3MJyrLRvHk

1/21/2011 8:45:15 AM I am going to be In Salt Lake/Park City February 1 - 6 and I would love to hear the low down from the locals or frequent visitors on the best spots to ride, stay, and I'm sure my buddies will want to party, although I'll probably be doing homework every night :)  Thank you!
1/20/2011 2:13:26 PM Hola.  I'm a rep for SkullCandy and I have a ton of stuff I need to push onto you snowy souls.  If you are looking to buy any SkullCandy I will make it worth your while.  Just post below what you want and I will respond with a total price including shipping.   Right now the hottest deal is on a pair of Skullcrushers Throwbacks for $38.50 + shipping or if you live in Tahoe I can just drop them off with you. http://www.amazon.com/Skullcrusher-Over-Headphones-Throwback-SkullCandy/dp/B0044U99BI basically: anything you want SkullCandy get at me i need to start moving some of this stuff before I get a sad face on my report card.
1/12/2011 5:17:13 PM Ok so it's just sort of fun to do on big airs but I don't know if it has some official names.  I saw it on the Forum or Against'Em DVD last year.  J. Jackson hits a big air at squaw and he just stiffens out his legs and throws his hands in the air, its like the peak of a jumping jack and he holds it and I just think its super fun to do on the booters in Bashful at Sierra.   Anybody know if it has a name?  Thanks
1/6/2011 3:47:41 PM I love my Burton AK Oven Mitt, but I am having a little trouble holding grabs.  Anybody have any tips to help me out?  Thanks.
12/29/2010 3:14:16 PM Going to purchase a camera so I can get my video on.... GoPro has done a good job of impressing in my mind that they are the best for the price.  What's your take/opinion?
12/29/2010 11:35:19 AM most comfortable boot you will ever put your foot in. That is all. for Sale $80 I wish I hadn't lost so much weight, because now they are too big for me. Derek 916.640.7377
12/21/2010 9:47:36 AM Has anybody ever heard of Ramp sports performance boards?  Here is how they describe them: There's a lot of new stuff happening with camber, but you know what works best for launching big air in the pipe and ripping stable carved turns at speed is traditional camber. If you like to do these things at the highest level, then the Lobstah is your ride. Top pros ride this type of board when they do these things just like you. It's a keepah! Speed Range: 6-10Click here for detailed product information.FeaturesThe Pop Camber is the best for launching big air in the pipe or park. With this shape you also get max carving when riding the mountain at speed. A wood-core sandwich, sidewall construction creates a lively feel with rebound and energy and makes the Lobstah highly durable. All Skis and Boards shipped in a Ramp Sports bag! The reason I ask is because I have Pro Deals on all of their boards and I am thinking about getting one.  Thanks!
12/16/2010 12:25:11 PM Looking for folks who want to take turns driving and pitch in on gas or whatever can make our drive from the Sacramento and surrounding areas cheaper and more fun. I am down to ride sat/sun/mon/wed at least until school starts back up :) don't be shy. 916.640.7377 Derek
