2/12/2010 3:24:06 PM " HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Officials at the University of Alabama's Huntsville campus say three people have been killed and another injured in a campus shooting. University spokesman Ray Garner says a woman is in custody but he could not identify her or any of the victims. Trent Willis, chief of staff for Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, says there are several other shooting injuries in addition to the four. He doesn't have an exact number. Sophomore Erin Johnson tells The Huntsville Times a biology faculty meeting was under way when she heard screams coming from the room. The shooting happened Friday afternoon in the university's Shelby Center, a science building. University police secured the building and students were cleared from it. The Huntsville campus has about 7,500 students in northern Alabama, not far from the Tennessee line." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_ala_university_shooting

7/25/2009 5:55:28 PM EDIT- Well it looks like i'll be losing my job within the next couple of weeks. So the car will have to go back. Fortunately my dad hasn't co-signed the loan yet, so I should be able to take it back with out to much trouble. I hope. And again, due to the dustinlikeness of these events, I will accept the punishment of being renamed to dbowleslikestodance. I got an 09 Impreza. 54 miles on it (technically 100, I was driving it for awhile).  Not an WRX though.  Dark Gray. Pictures to come soon. Ok, so it's pretty dirty (was raining a lot today), but here it is.
7/24/2009 4:18:04 PM I can get a brand 2009 Ford Focus for 8700 (from dealer). Deal or no Deal?

5/13/2009 9:10:04 PM http://ihopetheyservebeerinhell.com/archives/distributor_pic.html
You are not going to believe this. I can still barely believe it, and I was there. I did a speech at Ohio State on Monday, and it was bedlam. The auditorium was completely packed with fans--that's normal--but for the first time ever, I had real protesters. And not just a few, like almost 100, and they went shtooking nuts. It was AWESOME! But this was bigger than just having people pissed at me and getting attention. I get that shit on the internet and in the media all the time. This was one of the coolest things that has ever happened to me, because for the first time, I crossed over from cult figure to celebrity. You can tell in the video that I am kinda astonished at the beginning--on stage, watching that insanity play out, it dawned on me that my life had permanently changed. There were so many people there--both fans and protesters--the cops had to escort me out the back because they were afraid a riot would start. That's insane. This is the type of shit that only happens to famous people. Someone else said it best: "Feminazis holding signs? Angry hipster-emo dudes wearing granny-glasses at an anti-Tucker rally? Police escorts? Max is now an official rockstar. God help us all."
Pretty funny if you ask me.
5/12/2009 5:48:20 PM Until now! http://omegle.com talk to strangers. For real.
4/28/2009 2:15:31 PM so apparently my dog got out. And apparently attacked a neighbors sheep. so im pretty sure my dog is going to be put down and we will be going to court. Now, my dog is scared of her own shadow so i doubt that she attacked anything. Has anyone been through anything like this?
4/2/2009 10:09:30 AM Hello, I am not dbowles, and he was in accident earlier. It was so bad, the paramedics didn't think he would survive. The paramedic said he has lupis. All donations to the fund are accepted. The accident you ask? He ran out of alcohol... at approximately 2 am. He needs your support. Sincerely, Friend who is most definitely not dbowles Also I did not just edit this either, again
3/9/2009 11:47:00 PM it has been asked, and so it has come to form. The title is that so it doesn't offend or promote the drunken fun of drinking

2/9/2009 1:14:22 PM So I ordered some cartel ESTs from here and they didn't come with any hardware... at all. Do I need to contact sierra or burton for the missing hardware?
1/31/2009 2:48:48 PM So I'm thinking about getting a new board for the park with my tax refund. I know this thread has been done before a million times, so save me the lecture please :D.  I don't want a jib board per se, but I'd still like to hit the occasional rail. I want to be able to hit the pipe, kickers, whatever the park may throw at me.
1/29/2009 1:22:02 PM
Helio Gracie, the father of Gracie jiu-jitsu, is dead at the age of 95. Gracie passed in his sleep early Thursday in Itaipaiva, Rio de Janeiro, after he had been admitted to a local hospital a few days prior for stomach problems. “He passed the way he always wanted to –- quick and fast,” said an immediate relative, who asked not to be identified. The relative said Gracie’s body would be buried on Thursday. The youngest of Cesalina and Gastao Gracie’s eight children, he learned traditional jiu-jitsu by watching his brother, Carlos, teach it, but his small frame made it difficult for him to execute the moves. As a result, he adapted techniques to fit his limited physical ability and gave rise to modern-day Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Gracie was involved in two legendary fights. He lost to Masahiko Kimura -- a man who outweighed him by some 40 pounds -- in 1951 when Carlos threw in the towel after Kimura broke Gracie’s arm with the shoulder lock that now bears his name. Four years later, Gracie fought former student Valdemar Santana for nearly four hours before losing. His impact on the sport of mixed martial arts was profound. His son, Rorion, was credited with developing the concept that became the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and another of his sons, Royce, won the first two UFC tournaments in 1993 and 1994. Two other sons, Rickson and Royler, also competed in MMA. Gracie is survived by his wife Vera; his sons Rickson, Royler, Rolker, Royce, Relson, Robin and Rorion; his daughters Rerika and Ricci, as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. TJ DeSantis contributed to this report.
http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/helio-gracie-dead-15977 Sad day in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu He made a great contribution to what we know as mixed martial arts, and his presence will be missed.
