10/6/2010 9:15:06 AM Anyone have one of these lying around? I have a 156 for my resort powder board, but I'm considering picking up a little bit longer one and splitting it in half for a backcountry splitboard!   Doesn't need to be in flawless condition, but hopefully the core is okay.
9/15/2010 2:23:14 PM Starting to think about picking up a pass in CO for this season. Unfortunately, I don't see eye-to-eye with the general population, so I'm hoping for your input as to which mountain(s) would match my interests. I boarded Breck/Keystone/A-Basin last year and wasn't truly jacked on any of them. Insane crowds, snow tracked by 10:30, and most importantly... trees are extremely tight.   I'm looking for a mountain with good tree-boarding. I like natural features, and could be perfectly fine if I didn't hit a groomed run all day long. I realize that I'm simply going to have to deal with the CO lift-lines, but something less than Breck/Keystone would be terrific. I don't mind driving to get away from the crowds, either, so throw out your options as long as they are in CO.   Unfortunately, I can't afford a $1000 (or whatever they want) pass to Steamboat, so that'll have to stay off the list for now.   Any help would be greatly appreciated!
9/8/2010 10:09:33 AM I'm looking to get into backcountry this season... and I'm trying hard not to break the bank. I see that most splits go for ~$800-1200, and I'd much prefer to not drop that kind of cash. Does anyone know of a place that has some hold-overs from last year (or previous) at a decent discount? Sierra isn't carrying any........   Also, if you have any info on splitboards, I'd love to hear your input!   Only a couple more months!
11/12/2009 4:55:21 PM So I realized that I have too many goggles, here's a couple sets that I'm getting rid of: Oakley A-Frame Orange Ever Camo - Hi Intensity Persimmon Lens  - These are brand new in the packaging. Never worn.  - $75 shipped (continental US)  - You can see these here:
10/12/2009 8:47:19 AM So, I bought a new jacket this year (AK Turbine) and while I'm stoked about the jacket, I'm disappointed that it doesn't have wrist gaitors like my old one. Is there any way to get a set of wrist gaitors that I can just have sewn in? I'm seriously tempted to take them off of my old jacket, but I'd rather just find a set to buy than rip apart a perfectly fine jacket.
10/11/2009 3:30:44 PM I'm interested in some replacement lenses for my A Frames.   Looking for the following: H.I. Yellow Fire Iridium   Please let me know if you have either.
9/15/2009 7:59:11 PM Anyone had any experience with DC boots; in particular the Boa system?   I'm checking out a pair of the DC Super Parks, but I'm not sure that I'm stoked on the Boa system. I still haven't submitted myself to the new-fangled lace systems, and have a bit of concern with premature lace failure. It's possible that the couple of seasons have helped to refine these systems, and it's no longer an issue, but of course I'd like to hear some reviews from fellow riders before taking the plunge.   Thanks for the help!
3/23/2009 9:34:29 AM Selling my set of Ride Beta Movements, size 9-11. These have been used maybe 5 times, they still look like brand new. Retail is $250, I'll sell these for $100 shipped to the Continental US. I have the original packaging, and all of the original parts and documentation.   This is a rad set of binders. Extremely functional and adjustable, and thus, enjoyable.
3/8/2009 1:31:06 PM Brand new in the Oakley Packaging. These sell for $40, I'll sell this one for $30 shipped (Continental US Only.)
3/8/2009 11:36:44 AM Brand new in the packaging. These retail for $40, I'll sell this one for $28 shipped to your door (Continental US Only.)
2/16/2009 7:19:10 AM Alright, I'm sure this has been done before, but I'm curious what funny videos you have seen online. Always looking to have a more enjoyable youtube experience.   Nethaniel Dancing... 2/11/2009 1:51:42 PM Ah wow... I just had a chance to ride my Snow Mullet. We didn't get a ton of powder, but I suspect I found about 6 inches in the trees I frequently ride. It may be safe to say that today was one of the best times I've ever had on a snowboard. I've never owned a powder board before, but dang, it was fun. Since we didn't have a ton of snow, I will hold off on any kind of review... but suffice it to say that I saw heaven for a few hours today.   On a side note, the Mullet seems as damp or moreso than the TRS in choppy stuff... Man, I freakin love this board.
2/10/2009 4:15:03 PM Well, it showed up yesterday. Of course we didn't get anywhere near the amount of snow they were expecting this week. Who knows when I'll get a chance to ride this, but I'm a big fan of the board so far. The flex is similar to that of the TRS, and the graphics are sick... again a lot similar to the TRS. I'm stoked with the small quiver I've started.
2/10/2009 3:22:09 PM Until last week!   I've always wondered how far a snowboard would go if someone accidentally dropped it down a hill. I finally had a chance to find out!   Some newbie kid was walking with his board, and accidentally dropped the board. Much to my enjoyment, the board landed base down and started walking away from him. The kid just stood there and watched it happen; didn't dive for it or anything. From the chair lift, I could see the board go down the run, narrowly miss a 15 ft table (board at full speed) and continue going down the run. It hit a cat track and hooked a left, where I watched it for another 2-300 yds before I couldn't see it anymore. I'm positive from the kid's perspective, he wouldn't have seen it after it narrowly missed the table.   I laughed uncontrollably for a while, and then felt bad and tried to find the board. I figured I probably had the best chance of finding it, seeing as how I watched it far longer than he did. Despite my greatest attempts, I couldn't find the board anywhere... who knows where it went.   Anyways, I'm a jerk, I know it... but dang it was funny.
2/10/2009 1:56:31 PM So I bought two brand new pairs of Union Forces and swapped parts to make two super sweet sets of Frankenbinders. I only need one set of bindings, so I'll be selling this other set. This is a brand new set of bindings, and will come with the box and all hardware. All of the screws that were removed have been reapplied with loctite.   Price: $150 shipped (continental US)   Let me know if you are interested in international shipment, and I'll work up a quote.
