12/10/2013 3:12:14 PM Hello All, My family and I are taking a road trip to Salt Lake City from Southern California.  We will head there right after Xmas and stay for a week.  We will most likely check out Brighton and Park City.  It will be my first time boarding outside of California.   I am a bit concerned about the road/driving condition between St. George and Salt Lake City.  I will be driving a rwd sedan.  Anyone has experience driving any part of this stretch of highway?  Any helpful advice and/or pointers would be appreciated.   Thank you in advance!
10/3/2009 11:48:26 PM Hello the season is approaching, and I can't wait. Anyhow, I have an '05 Highland 4WD and a '03 Matrix FWD. My wife uses the Highland around town, and we use it when we go hit the slopes. My Matrix is mainly for my long commute. I will have to replace my Matrix soon and is contemplating getting an AWD Matrix or an Impreza Outback Sport. However, I am not sure if AWD is really all it crack up to be. If anyone of you have an AWD and had driven it in icy/snowy conditions, I would really appreciated if you share you experience. Thanks in advance.
3/20/2009 10:08:43 PM I am thinking of getting season passes for my wife and I. Which do you is better? Things to consider: 1) We live in LA county 2) We don't ride park 3) Our level is low intermediate Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
1/22/2009 3:14:18 PM If you are filthy rich and can get anything you want, what board, boots and bindings combo would you get for: (1) freeride? (2) all-mountain? (3) freestyle? Happy dreaming.
1/22/2009 2:31:45 PM I am thinking of buying 1000 points from Mt. High. Should I spend the $? Thanks.
1/12/2009 11:45:06 PM Two days ago, my wife, my son and I were snowboarding for the first time. We spent all day at the bunny hill. We are planning to go at it again in two weeks (we need to recuperate from the beating). I have two more prepaid rentals until I have to get my own gear. I am looking at the set-up below. For me: '08 Option Logic board '09 Burton Freestyle binding '06 Burton Moto boots For my wife: '08 Option Echo board '09 Burton Citizen binding '08 Burton Emerald boots For my son: '09 Burton Chopper board (up to his nose, so it should last two seasons) '09 Burton Freestyle binding (his boot size is at the lower end of the range it supports) '08 Burton Grom boots As you can see, it's hard for me not to break the bank. Any tips to make the most bang for my bucks would be appreciated. Thanks!
