9/28/2011 10:41:56 PM ^^ It all boils down to what your goals are and what you are doing. If I am lifting weights for example squats and bench press day yes I will consume a good amount of carbs approxmiately 1 to 2 hours before my workout. After my workout I will wait 1.5 hours before I have a meal. If I am trying to burn fat and trim down. I will not eat 3 hours before my running session and will not eat 2 hours after my running session.  The idea behind this is you want your body to burn up the stored glyocgen and once that is depleted it starts burning fat. After the workout your body is still in a hyper metabolic state and will continue to burn calories so try to limit quick carbs like sugar instead opt for more proten and complex carbs (veggies, whole grains .etc)
9/27/2011 7:14:38 PM It depends on what I'm going for, now I'm trying to cut weight so I will do my 1.5 miles. I will not eat anything until 11. I'll have a fiber bar or something and a pretty big lunch.
9/26/2011 9:18:12 PM I can't believe someone in the Light Heavy weight division has the longest reach in the UFC, much longer than any heavy weight. Which is why Jones is hard to beat. Guys can't hit him, when they do come in Jones is ready for em and will punish his opponents as they come in. He does a great job keeping them at a distance with his front and side kicks, and straight jab.
9/25/2011 10:10:43 PM go to the gym in the morning if thats an option .
I do a mile and a half before I go to work in the morning. It's refreshing, makes you feel good, and best of all clears your mind and gets you ready for work.
9/25/2011 10:07:50 PM Gomi looks way different in the UFC, he's slower and throwing sloppy punches. Back in Pride he was fast and on target, remember how I hit Nick Diaz to the canvas. Gomi always had some decent stand-up but I don't know what's wrong with him now.
9/25/2011 6:15:15 PM Jones loves to show off and play mind games. It was one of things he did intentionally to piss off rampage and to tell him "I can do that, and there's nothing you can do about it." I like Jones, but he needs to be a little bit more humble. He's still a young fighter and has a lot more growing up to do.
8/29/2011 8:07:22 PM I'm waiting for that fight, but GSP would be a bit undersize as he walks around 195 while Silva walks around 220.
8/16/2011 8:38:53 PM I would usually watch it off of mmalinker.com. But you still have to give them some time to load up the fights and they may redirect you to another site sometimes.
Yup MMALINKER.com or if you are near a buffalo wild wings you can catch the fight for free.
8/16/2011 8:36:08 PM
8/13/2011 2:38:47 PM 3 Straight losses and you usually get cut by the UFC, unless you are one of those fighters that goes all out like Wanderlie Silva. I like Fedor's explosive style, he opens during fights not like other fighters who tense up and barely wants to throw punches. They should keep Fedor.
8/12/2011 11:13:38 PM Look for the UFC to try and capitalize on this...although the two are basically the same organization now with different umbrellas.
Zuffa wants him cut because of his outrangeous contract with strikeforce. Strikeforce and M1 are co-promoting, Zuffa wants none of M1. If Fedor wants to sign with UFC he has to cut his ties with M1.
8/7/2011 4:54:06 PM How is he one dimensional? He was an experience wrestler who came into MMA learning muy thai boxing and bjj. One dimensional fighters are guys like Kimbo slice who have the standup but do not have the take down defense, and no set of ground skills. Liddel has great take down defense remember the last time he was taken down? (not counting Ko's here)
8/7/2011 1:31:14 PM You don't have to do any type of ab workout to have abs. If your lean with less than 8% body fat and do some isometric training you should have abs.
8/7/2011 11:13:22 AM
8/7/2011 10:46:58 AM I usually go to mmalinker.com they post fights 3 hours after the event finishes.
