1/23/2011 1:49:48 PM Sounds to me like you're just riding the board flat. You do that, you're bound to wipe out. Work the edges of your board, you should always been on an edge in the ice.
1/23/2011 1:47:26 PM Interesting video, but I don't think that it does the gopro justice. Honestly, I think it makes the gopro look like a pretty poor camera, when in reality I know it's not. It looked quite 'foggy'.
1/23/2011 1:35:04 PM I just got certified myself. I personally don't care for instructional classes, however the scuba diving class provided by PADI wasn't actually all that bad. We did a night of classroom instruction, then a night at the pool, then another night of classroom instruction, and another night at the pool. Then on the weekend we did our open dives in the ocean. I would say the most challenging part of the class is trying to breath from the regulator without your mask on. They have you remove your mask underwater and then put the mask back on, then you have to clear your mask of all the water. Some people had issues clearing the mask, but it's pretty easy if you pay attention. Remember the number one rule: Never hold your breath! Have fun!
1/14/2011 8:24:38 PM Nice car. Not so nice rims Edit: Here's my car, had her 4 years now  (think I posted here many moons ago, but it doesn't hurt to show it off again!)
1/13/2011 6:59:12 PM Crazy, a little curious what the blood was from at the end?
1/12/2011 3:31:08 PM Couldn't handle Black Ops eh?
1/5/2011 12:24:37 PM I live on Oahu currently.. I would definitely island hop if I were you. Oahu is VERY commercialized in the tourist Honolulu/Waikiki area of the island. If you do plan on staying on Oahu for a couple days there are a few things you should definitely do. Like someone else mentioned, snorkel Hanauma Bay. It's the best snorkeling on the island. If you want to surf while you're here, Waikiki is 'okay', but you will be dealing with TONS of tourist trying to surf there. There's a beach with good waves that is a little out of the way for tourists if you decide to get a rental car. The beach is called White Plains and it's about 20 minutes from Waikiki, which is most likely where you'll be staying. If you're looking for a good hotel in Waikiki, check out The Outrigger Reef. It's in the heart of Waikiki and the prices aren't horrendous. Also, Oahu has the famous North Shore. If you want to check that out, you'd probably need a rental car again. You won't find the massive waves in the summer though. It's still a nice drive with another area to snorkel called Shark's Cove. (There aren't any sharks) Right next to Shark's Cove is Waimea Bay where they have all the surf competitions, and it's just an overall nice beach to chill at. There's also a massive rock in the water there that a lot of people jump off of. Of course there's tons of hikes, with waterfalls and such.
12/31/2010 12:44:24 AM I took your advice and emailed them... We shall see! I'll keep this updated with how it goes down! *fingers crossed*
12/29/2010 1:53:21 PM Waiting still....
12/28/2010 2:30:49 PM How much do you weigh and what is your boot size?
12/27/2010 11:48:29 AM I was only messing with you, as I'm sure Guth was also. All in good fun.
12/27/2010 11:38:21 AM Yeah, that's okay. If you can't have fun and be okay with looking dumb while doing it. Then you're not having fun.
12/27/2010 11:18:03 AM I see you've found it Zakk......     Ohhhh good times!
12/27/2010 11:15:39 AM Did you not realize my comment on your thread is almost an exact quote of one of your comments on someone elses thread?
12/27/2010 11:12:52 AM Aww, are you sad because what goes around comes around?   Try not being a Richard.
