4/10/2014 5:11:39 PM herro!!!!
2/17/2014 3:56:30 PM if you are into photography heading over to targhee for a day would def be worth it... some KILLER views of the Tetons from the top of the Ghee. Inifinit covered what I would suggest as well.  The Virginian is a pretty cool old bar too, might be worth having a beer in there.  I'd definitely check out the brewery in town... Snow King has night skiing, so depending on where you guys are staying that might be fun to do one evening, they also have a fun bar.  Pretty close to Snow King is an indoor ice rink which has some city league type hockey and/or tournaments depending on when you will be there.
1/27/2014 4:47:12 PM Wind happens.. you should be ok.. there's a whole month worth of dumpage before you get here and Feb usually brings the goods.
1/24/2014 12:32:30 PM Fun bars up at Big Sky: Scissor Bills, The Black Bear, Whiskey Jacks, Hummer's.  There is also a brewery down in the meadow area before you head up to the resort that's worth checking out. Fun apre drinking places: There is a general store in the mtn mall at the base of BS that sells beer.. we usually end up going in there.. buying beers.. and hanging out around the fire pits/base area for awhile then taking the party to the hottub at wherever we are staying. Good lunch place in bozeman:  Off the top of my head, Cafe Zydeco (Cajun/creole type food), Picklebarrel (awesome and huge sandwiches right across the street from campus), I'm sure I can think of a few others too but would have to do a little research to remember. Looking forward to seeing those pics!
1/22/2014 11:24:54 PM bridger bowl is definitely worth it... bring your piep prob & shovel and ride up slaschmans (sp?) some of the best terrain/snow in the state.  Big sky is super fun... complete spectrum of terrain you could want to ride... the commie runs that JD is referring to are the dictator chutes... there is a ton of slackcountry type stuff off the top dropping off from the peak and also the ridge that runs between BS & ML.  Challenger is fun if the snows good. On the moonlight side theres plenty of chute type stuff just a quick hike up from the top of the headwaters lift. I would definitely say that bridger is worth a day.  World Boards is a well known in bozeman... good guys in there.. def worth swinging in its right on main.  Hit me up via PM if you have any specific questions i'll be happy to help ya out!
12/17/2013 4:49:05 PM If you don't mind me asking Angry... what does one of these things set you back... and how much would it cost to print something in 3d... say that basketball?  I guess I could go and do some research but I'd rather just hear it from the source! Have you printed anything yet?  If so.... PICS please!
12/16/2013 6:06:58 PM there was a giveaway today... George did it.
12/16/2013 4:44:35 PM Picked up a Snowbowl pass this year.. figured it was the smart thing to do since its so close.  Lost Trail got nuked on about 2 weeks ago and they're sitting with a pretty fat base.  LT is super fun!  Disco is a really good time if the backside is open and there's a bunch of snow.. some super fun terrain back there.  Should be prime by Feb!
12/16/2013 2:55:54 PM Day 3 on Saturday.  1st day at the local spot.. conditions up top were great!  Snow was light and fluffy... Mtn is about 60% open.  Should be a great base to start us off.  I uncovered a buried rock on the lower half which endo'd me into a buried log which I hit with my shoulder and back.. super fun time lemme tell ya!  Put about 5 new small core shots in my Lando which about made me cry.  Ohhhh well at least it wasn't my face! Edit: First day on my Lunarendors as well.. all i have to say is wow.  so worth the money.
12/12/2013 12:09:05 AM ah! super jealous spenser conditions look choice!  Can't wait to get out on my HC... thinking about picking the wife up at 148 HC.. She demo'd a 138 Nugget and loved it so that crossed my mind but I think the mini HC is a better choice
12/9/2013 5:41:30 PM But soooo worth it!
12/9/2013 5:21:24 PM Glad the season's starting off well for you JDiggidy!  It's been a cold one so far but its warming up now and the snow's going to keep piling up! Bryman - Sorry to hear about the Mammoth weekend, my cousin and his wife were 2 of the folks having all that fun on Sunday.  They drove up from San Diego Saturday afternoon.  He broke his back awhile ago doing some mountain biking and had pretty serious surgery... doc finally cleared him for activities so I'm stoked he had some good snow for his first day back!
12/9/2013 9:56:44 AM Days 1 & 2 logged this weekend at Big Sky.. Definitely a cold one as temps stayed south of 0.  Rode the tram up on Saturday and took a pretty dicey run down from the top through an extremely rocky bowl.. good times had by all!  Local spot opened Sunday and will be open again this coming weekend so hopefully days 3 & 4 will be logged.
12/2/2013 12:48:09 PM contact burton rider services and tell them you need an ICS/EST disk for your older, non-est, burton bindings.... that will solve your problem.
11/27/2013 1:42:41 PM As you should be!  Steamboat is rad.. annnd you don't have the crowds like you would at Vail/Breck/Keystone/etc.
