"Special Blend Brigade" 12/14/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Brigade
  • Pros:  Looks really nice, Waterproofing works well, Lots of pockets
  • Cons:  Not a ton of insulated, Fits a size larger than specified,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  This jackets A little baggier than i expected it to be

Experience:   This Jackets defiantly a loud jacket in terms of color. It has around 13-14 pockets on it including an Ipod pocket. The Insulation on it is not very heavy and on a insulation scale it only gets a 3 (1 being a shell and 10 being a puffy jacket), personally i dont mind this one bit because i still like to layer but on a warmer day i still have a tad bit of insulation to keep me nice and warm. Also the Jacket has a built in Yo-Yo pass holder which is way more convenient than having to pull out a lanyard or keeping it on a zippy tie. The only problem i experience with the jacket was when i took it into very wet conditions small (like areas around the wrist) showed a little bit of water soakage (very minimal) which is expected from a 10,000 jacket. The other nice fact about the jacket is that it breaths very well and over all it a very comfortable to wear.
"So So stomp pad" 11/1/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine X-Mat
  • Pros:  Its Helps give you traction,
  • Cons:  Snow Gets in and you lose traction because of this,

Experience:   Its not that great... i ripped it off half way through the season... realistically you dont need a stomp pad because you boots should grip well enough without them

"Great backup screws for your bindings" 7/2/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Binding Hardware
  • Pros:  Cheap, Nice Quality, Trusted Brand, Wont damage your board.

Experience:   I bought these from my local ski shop because i lost three of them after tuning my board up. A few weeks after replacing the screws i lost i ended up loosing even more of the screws but i was ok because i used the left over screws. So even if you haven't lost any screws for your bindings you should go buy these just as a back up.

  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Comfortable, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Heavy, Tricky instillation
  • Fit:  fits fine

Over all though they made it easy for me to teach my little cousin how 2 shred.

  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Boxes,Groomers,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  poppy, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Great value, Popular on mountain, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Heavy, Sluggish

Experience:   A great board for someone who wants to start doing park. But its a little sluggish because of the extrude base. Also the sides chip easily in cold weather. I sold it to my friend though because i wanted something that was faster. Over all though its hard to find a board as good as this for the price.
