"Great stomp pad" 4/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Medium Spike Mat
  • Pros:  Clear,

Experience:   This is a great medium-sized stomp pad. I had the old 2008 Burton Air Logo mat on my previous board and it didn't work at well. The metal spikes on this grip quite well and because the pad is clear, it's pretty discreet.
"Really, Really Warm" 10/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Heat Pack
  • Pros:  Very warm!,
  • Cons:  Come unclipped easily, May need adapter,

Experience:   I have 2009 Burton Supreme boots and they're so warm I haven't actually had to use these yet. I did however, plug them in just to see how they worked...and they worked! Just make sure you're buying the right Burton heatpacks for your season of boot. In 2010 they came out with a new connector, so if you have 2009 boots you'd have to buy an adapter.
"Excellent, but with one major complaint" 10/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Smith Heiress Goggles Black Intersection
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Don't fog,
  • Cons:  Aren't really helmet compatible,

Experience:   I have no complaints whatsoever about the goggle lens. It's great, doesn't fog, comfortable padding around the face, etc. My one and only complaint about these goggles is that they're not really helmet compatible. There's a quick release-type strap part in the back that is plastic. Is is right in the back center of the strap, which is exactly where your helmet snap strap is. I have a Red brand helmet and there is no way I can close the helmet strap over the back part of the Heiress goggle strap. I ended up having to buy the Smith strap extension (which is soft and flat) just so I could make these goggles helmet compatible.

Comments & Questions

PICKLES
I have a Salomon Icon Origins Custom Air helmet and the Heiress goggles are a perfect fit. No issues with the helmet locking the goggle strap in the back. The helmet is also extremely comfy! Maybe it's time to get a new helmet. No harm in having 2! :-)

"Excellent pants, except in wet conditions" 10/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton TWC Lady Windsor Womens
  • Pros:  Cute style, Longer than most pants,
  • Cons:  Bad waterproofing,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S

Experience:   I bought these because I have a really hard time finding pants that are long enough without being baggy. These have a narrow fit and are about 1-2 inches longer than other pants. I have a 27 waist and 36 hips and I take a size 1. They fit great everywhere (though I could use an extra 1 in the length). They don't provide a lot of warmth, so you have to layer in colder conditions. My only complaint is that despite their good waterproof rating, my thermals were soaked after an hour on a wet day.
"Decent, not spectacular mittens" 10/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Baker Womens Undermitt
  • Pros:  Decent fit, Outside pockets,
  • Cons:  Bad waterproofing,

Experience:   These are probably best for spring conditions, as they're not that warm and they don't provide good waterproofing. I wore these on day when it was sleeting and they were soaked on the inside within an hour. One nice feature is that they do have little pockets on the outside that you can put hand warmers in.
"Really thick, warm socks" 10/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Slopestyle
  • Pros:  Thick, Warm,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   These socks are great if you're looking for something REALLY thick. My boots are pretty snug, so these are too thick for me, but they are incredibly warm and comfortable.
"Great fit for long fingers" 10/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Womens
  • Pros:  Longer fingers without being too wide, Very warm,

Experience:   99% of gloves I try don't fit because my hands/fingers are long. I ordered these in a large and they fit great. Usually when I find gloves that fit the length of my fingers they're way too big in the rest of the hand, and these fit well everywhere. I also have the Burton Baker Gloves (and mittens) and they're nice, but if it's wet the water goes right through. These gore tex gloves do a great job of keeping my hands warm and keeping the moisture out!
"SUPER comfortable shirt that runs really large" 10/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Arbor Eastwind SS
  • Pros:  very comfortable,
  • Cons:  runs too large,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Too big

Experience:   I love the feel of this shirt. It looks like normal cotton but feels so much more comfortable. My only complaint is that it runs really large. I normally take a size small. I ordered this in a small and it fits more like a medium. I even tried frying it in the dryer which shrunk it slightly, but it's still a little too big.
"Excellent lightweight thermal" 10/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Helly Hansen Long Sleeve Thermal Crew Womens
  • Pros:  Super comfortable, Nice design, Warm but not hot
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   This is a great lightweight thermal. It's super comfortable and the sleeves aren't too short (like I find many thermals to be). It dries quickly and provides nice warmth without overheating. I wouldn't recommend for really cold environments, but it's perfect for mild - medium cold.
"Does the job...kind of" 10/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Air Logo Mat
  • Pros:  Perfect size, Clear, Sticks very well
  • Cons:  Doesn't grip all that well,

Experience:   This stop pad is just ok. My food slides off of it from time to time. The main reason I went with this one is because it's clear and doesn't stand out on the board.
"How is something so thin SO warm?" 10/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Helly Hansen Warm Thermal Bottom Womens
  • Pros:  SUPER warm, comfortable,
  • Cons:  A little too short, Seams chaffed a little,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   I couldn't believe how warm these pants were. I get cold easily and usually wear multiple layers - I wore these in Tahoe in February and had to unlayer because I was so warm. And they were incredibly comfortable considering they're wool. I only have 2 minor complaints: 1. They're a little short, but I have really long legs so it's not too much of a surprise. 2. The inner seam on the ankle started chaffing around midday and left my skin red and irritated. The next day I wore the pants on the outside of my socks and that solved the problem.
"Lock it Up!" 10/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Cool Lock
  • Pros:  Compact, Easy to operate,

Experience:   Many people have mentioned this is too bulky, but I think it's the perfect size to throw into a coat pocket. Not too big. If it were smaller it would be less durable. If you want something more compact, go with the Dakine Micro lock which is smaller, but has a shorter cable. If someone really wants to steal your board, they'll figure it out, but this is a great deterrent.
"Great socks, no complaints " 10/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Phase Womens Sock
  • Pros:  Warm, Comfy, Good padding
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   These socks get the job done. My feet are super narrow, so they were a little big in the width, but I'm used to that. They keep my feet very warm without getting overly hot. They also have a little bit of padding in just the right places.
"Great bindings, even if the toe strap does come loose" 10/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Lexa EST Womens
  • Pros:  Easy to adjust, EST system,
  • Cons:  Toe strap comes loose,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I have the non-EST version and I always thought there was something wrong with my bindings because the toe strap often comes loose after a ride down the mountain. That was, until I read all the other reviews on this page. I guess it's a more common problem than I thought. Annyoing, yes, but it doesn't take away from the fact that other than that, these are great bindings in all other respects!
"Comfy, dry, great thermal!" 10/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Lightweight Crew First Layer Top Women's
  • Pros:  Comfort , Quick drying,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  S

Experience:   I normally wear a small but bought a large because it was all they had. The large is only slightly too big for me, so I'd recommend buying 1 size larger than you normally would. Also, I have VERY log arms and this shirt was actually long enough in the arms for me, which is rare. I was surprised how warm this kept me, especially since it's so thin. It also dries super fast.
"Nice fitted jacket. Lightweight, but warm" 10/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Recruit Womens
  • Pros:  Great non-baggy fit, Lots of pockets, Lightweight, but warm
  • Cons:  Lots of snaps,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   This is a great all-around jacket. Here's my pro/con list Pros: - Fitted/non-baggy - Lots of pockets - Lightweight, but still warm - Long sleeves (I always have a tough time finding sleeves long enough) - When you zip the jacket all the way up, the part by your mouth/chin is really soft Cons: - There are a lot of snaps, so it's not a quick on/off jacket Great jacket, I would definitely recommend.
"My boyfriend likes them" 10/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Gravis Kai Racer
  • Pros:  Look great, Comfortable/padded,

Experience:   I bought these for my boyfriend in a size 9 (his normal size) and they fit great. He said they feel a little narrow, but are comfortable and feel like they have lots of padding. And at 72% off retail price, you can't go wrong!
"Super comfortable, high quality tee" 10/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Sierra Headphones TShirt
  • Pros:  Great fit, Cool graphic,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  True to size

Experience:   I bought this shirt in a size small, thinking it would run big based on another user review. The small definitely fits like a small and nowhere near a medium or larger (which is how it should be). Just an FYI, these are made by American Apparel, so if you're familiar with the brand you know how it fits. A small is a small, and no larger. I ordered the color Eggplant, and the color is exactly the same in person as on the website.
