"Design rubs off super easy" 8/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis A-Bah
  • Pros:  Comfy , Durable construction,
  • Cons:  Design rubs off,

Experience:   I got 3 pairs of thongs from the latest discount on Gravis, but I'm a bit dissapointed with this pair. I got black/white style, I've only worn them 2-3 times and half the design is peeling off on one thong, and a bit on the other. I still give these 3 stars because they are mad comfy, they were <$5 and they seem built to last (apart from the design!). PS I'm Australian so thongs = Flip Flops/Sandles!
"Not for me" 8/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Regulation
  • Pros:  cheap,
  • Cons:  looks a bit dumb, doesn't keep head warm,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   I bought these to get my order over the free shipping threshold, I should have chosen something else. Beanie looks like im wearing underwear on my head, It is not warm. Wore it twice and then donated it to a friend.
"Sweet skis" 7/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Line Chronic
  • Pros:  Awesome for jumps, lightweigh and flexy - good for rails, perform suprisingly well in crud
  • Cons:  scratch easily at tips, struggle in powder and high speeds,

Experience:   I have the '09 verison of these skis, and they are my preferred ski for park and crud/slush (late season) snow. I find rotations on these a lot easier then my other skis. I got these with Look PK JIB bindings, which have performed really well, make sure you get the right binding with this ski!
"Amazing Jacket!" 10/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Special Blend Shifter Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Warm, Stylish, Perfect size
  • Cons:  NONE!,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect

Experience:   Girlfriend Review: This is one of the best ski jackets I've ever had. I wore it for a full season in Niseko, Japan last year, which was often between -10 to -20, and the jacket held up well, I was hardly ever cold. I wore it on a trip to Thredbo, Australia this year and even with warmer temperatures and a few less layers I didn't get sweaty. Me and a friend swapped (she has a 2011 buron jacket) and.. it sucked compared to the special blend shifter! 5 Stars

note: I didn't wear the removable inner thermal in Australia, as that thing is warm!

"Slick Jacket" 8/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Orage Sidney Ski Jacket
  • Pros:  Super Waterproof, Comfy, Great fit
  • Cons:  red is sold out,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   Great jacket, no faults at all, very comfy fit. Had it in the rain and it held up fine, just as well as my friends gore tex jacket. Highly recommended!
"looks great, runs big" 8/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 686 Levi Trucker Insulated Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  looks good, secure pockets, well insulated, super , comfy,
  • Cons:  runs a little large,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  XS
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  loose but comfy

Experience:   GF review: I got both these and the 686 Levi pants, and they both run quite large, they're loose even after layering. If you have the option of getting a size smaller, I'd recommend it. Other than that it is a great jacket, very comfortable and warm! The zips are easy enough to do up even when wearing gloves, and there is velcro at the cuffs rather than pop buttons, which I find a big improvement. The material is also great, it is soft and malleable but still very waterproof.
"Sweet shoes" 8/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Gravis Lowdown Slip On Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  durable, comfortable, look cool
  • Cons:  smell after extended use,

Experience:   I dig this shoe, I've had mine for 6 months and it's still looks new. Gravis make sures with durability in mind. I haven't had any problems getting into clubs with these, and damn they are comfortable! I found they were a bit larger then most other shoes, consider getting 1/2 size smaller.
"Comfy and warm" 7/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Lightweight Badlands Pants
  • Pros:  warm, thin + breathable, comfortable
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   I can't belive these are $15.00. I've had many thermals over the years, and these are the pick of the bunch. They aren't too tight or too baggy, they are just right and damn they are warm. I got the green, they look better in real life and they feel amazing. I will be ordering a couple more pairs on my next order. GET THESE!
"Good socks" 7/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Wigwam Snow Xenon Pro
  • Pros:  thin, nice fit,
  • Cons:  a little cold, can get a bit sweaty,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   These socks are pretty sweet, I find they aren't as good as the 'Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro' as they seem to sweat/smell more. Still recommended them over the average ski sock!
"best socks no sweat!" 7/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro
  • Pros:  Lightweigh, Thin, Don't smell much after a 10 hour day!
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   These are some great socks, I've worn them back to back days without much smell or sweat. They are more comfy then most of my burton socks, and seem of higher quality, oh yeah and they fit perfectly... They also look cool!
"Crazy Blue!" 7/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Crtsian Basic
  • Pros:  Awesome design, crazy blue color,
  • Cons:  slightly too big,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL

Experience:   I bought this hoodie with high expectations, and it lived up to it! My favourite hoodie atm, and the color (pool blue) is mad! I'm thinkin about ordering another in a different color, it's just that good. I thought the hoodie was a little large on me, I am 6'3 and weigh about 190 pounds, ordered a large and feel it's a bit big. But if you like your hoodie slightly baggie it'll be perfect!
"Fantastic All Mountain Ski" 7/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Volkl Mantra
  • Pros:  Beefy construction, Dominates powder, crud and groomers, stable at high speeds
  • Cons:  heavy and stiff - not great for park,

Experience:   I have ski'd with the Volkl Mantra for about 30 days now, in Japan, New Zealand and Australia, which means they have handled everything from ice to chest deep powder, and they have been perfect. They seem a bit more on the heavy side compared to other skis, so it can be annoying to hike with, or to pop with. But it is easily worth it, the best skis I have ever had the pleasure to ski with!
