"Very comfy, not bulky" 10/18/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Prowler Neck Gator Men's
  • Pros:  comfy, lightweight, not bulky

Experience:   Just what you want - lightweight, but warm. not tight, but not too loose.
"Nice Beanie" 7/11/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Marquee Beanie
  • Pros:  Good styling, Nice material,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  this beanie fits a kids head well. Too small for normal adult

Experience:   I bought this for my 12 year old son (he is not a big kid) and the beanie has a nice fit for him. For bigger kids I would definitely get an adults beanie, but for kids up to 12 this works well.
"Awesome Mittens" 10/18/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 DC Lear Snowboard Mitts Men's
  • Pros:  great fit, nice finger slots, toasty

Experience:   Great mittens, nice and warm. Although they are mittens, they feel like gloves inside (they have finger slots) which makes them extra warm.
"Nice beanie" 10/18/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Special Blend Dirty Sanchez Beanie Men's
  • Pros:  cool style,
  • Cons:  no mouth hole,
  • Fit:  Just right

Experience:   I bought this for the look - it is functional too, but would be better with a mouth hole. The material is smooth an not itchy. Overall quite happy with this.
"Great jacket" 4/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Modem Snowboard Jacket Kid's
  • Pros:  Great quality , Dry and Warm,
  • Cons:  More colours please!,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  A little big, but not too much

Experience:   This is a great coat for a young rider. Ipod pocket and lift ticket holder are nice touches.
"A bit tight, Sierra Madre is brighter than I thought" 7/17/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Foursquare Classic
  • Pros:  Sierra Madre has nice bright colours, so something should match your existing gear. The red stripe is especially bright.
  • Cons:  The beanie is a little tight, but not too tight. I also have the Burton Trope which is a little bit looser.

Experience:
"Comfy, durable boots" 8/23/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2014 Burton Rampant Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Very comfortable, liners fit solidly, durable
  • Cons:  heel not super tight,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I bought these boots after using Burton Tributes for a few seasons, and have been amazed by the difference. Obviously stepping up from an entry level boot to these brings a big difference in the amount of flex. I find these are just the right amount of stiffness. The boots are super durable, much more so than the Tributes. The liners are nice and tight everywhere except the heel (maybe I just have a narrow heel). I would prefer a bit more grip on the heel, but apart from that these are perfect.
"Great gloves" 8/23/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton GoreTex Gloves
  • Pros:  waterproof and breathable, solid build,
  • Cons:  dull coloring,

Experience:   If you want a pair of relaible gloves that are waterproof and breathable, then these are for you. The styling is a little bit dull, but the build quality on these puppies is great. Nice tough material that holds up to a bit of abuse. Sometimes the inner is a little sticky getting on and off, but these things will keep you warm and dry.
"Good mask, breathes well." 8/12/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 DC Auli Facemask
  • Pros:  Good breathable material, blocks wind well,
  • Cons:  would like a hook closure on back,

Experience:   I really like this mask, it blocks the wind well, but it doesn't freeze up at the front as much as other masks I have used. It ties up pretty well, but eventually comes undone - a hook closure at the back would be an improvement. Nice bright color looks great.
"Good shorts, but fairly plain" 3/26/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 DC Seward Shorts
  • Pros:  Good fit, Good Pockets ,
  • Cons:  a bit plain,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Not too baggy, not too tight, but just right

Experience:   Most importantly, these shorts fit right, the sizing is accurate. Overall the shorts are good, if a little plain, but that is fairly easily seen from the picture. I like that theses shorts aren't baggy, but they're not super skinny either. I'm keen on shorts with the little coin pocket at the front right, so I was pleasantly surprised to find these cheap shorts had that. The main pockets are deep and well positioned
"Handy Tool" 9/8/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Dakine Mini Edge Tuner
  • Pros:  small size = portable,

Experience:   I needed a smaller edge tuner for adjustments on the mountain. This tool is good quality, but still small enough to stash in your pocket without worrying about getting impaled on it. Very handy for using on my son's smaller board for adjustments when we are riding.
"Killer Deal for $20" 7/11/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Metalhead Backpack Men's
  • Pros:  good straps, nice padding in back,

Experience:   As far as backpacks go, this one is nicely built, with some good features, and at $20 this is a killer deal. The skate straps are nice and strong without the velcro being too 'catchy'. The compartments keep your gear protected inside the bag and the straps and paddeding on the back keep you comfortable wearing this pack.
"Nice style, pretty durable" 3/1/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket Ear Buds
  • Pros:  Look great, Compact and portable, tactile happiness
  • Cons:  pricey when not on sale,

Experience:   I picked these up a while ago on sale - mainly because I was after some stylish buds for a nice price. I had read some stuff on Skull Candy buds not being that great in terms of quality, but I had tested some Lowriders before and been comfortable with the quality overall. The quality of these full metal jackets is quite good and the volume output is definitely sufficient. These earphones feel more durable than my previous Sony plastic buds because of the metallic parts. The cords, having thicker plastic, feel stronger. Sound is bass-heavy, but I tend to like it for most of my music. The rubber eartips are fine - I have had more comfortable ones, but I have adjusted now.
"Great Sock" 3/1/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Emblem Youth
  • Pros:  not too tight, good length, sturdy
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Not too tight, just right

Experience:   I got a few pairs of these socks for my kids. My two boys have different builds, but these socks are comfortable for my skinny son and my stockier son. They are not too tight, but tight enough that they don't sink down in their boots while they're riding. Another thing I really like about these socks is that they are still going strong 18 months on. No issues with pilling or with wearing thin in certain areas like a lot of socks do. Overall a great pickup - bad socks can kill a day on the mountain, but you don;t have to worry about that with these puppies.
"Great set of tools" 1/19/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Deluxe Starter Kit
  • Pros:  Bullet tool, low profile lock,
  • Cons:  stomp pad is not that great,

Experience:   This is a great set of tools for those new to the sport or just keen to have some compact tuning gear on the mountain. Board lock is a must have with all the stuff getting nicked at the moment. The Bullet tool is a fantastic tool - you can do any adjustments on mountain with this thing. Personally, I'm not fussed about the leash, but some resorts make you use them. The wax is good to have in case you need a top up, but obviously there is better wax around for prepping before you head up the hill.
"Great Style, Sound is OK" 1/12/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket Earbuds w/ Mic
  • Pros:  cool style, lightweight, good fit for me
  • Cons:  audio could be better ,

Experience:   First, the good stuff - These are great looking buds, build quality is good, silicone and foam tips are nice and fit well on me, nice and compact to fit in your coat pocket. The sound is good but not great. Good treble and base, but clarity could be better. Overall quite good.
"Nice shirt, but little big" 12/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Element Silverlake Neck TShirt Men's
  • Pros:  nice material,
  • Cons:  a bit too big,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  runs a size bigger

Experience:   This shirt runs a little big. My Medium is more like a large. The material is nice and lightweight and the cut overall is OK - not real athletic, but OK.
"As described" 10/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow Delta Scraper Gold
  • Pros:  cool style, lightweight,

Experience:   As advertised. Good scraper at a nice price. Not flexy, sharp edges scrape well.
"Great for your pocket" 4/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Zip Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  low profile, lightweight,

Experience:   This is a great lightweight, low profile tool to stash away in a pocket to use for those basic on mountain adjustments. A must have
"As described" 4/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine Mountain Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Not too high, good adhesive,

Experience:   This stomp pad is a good match with the Sierra Crew 157wide - the colours are perfect. The stomp pad shed snow reasonable well and gives the traction you wont getting off the lift.
"Nice goggles" 4/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Spy Targa II Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  nice construction, stylish,
  • Cons:  no extra lenses,

Experience:   The giggles are a great price pick up for those looking for a no nonsense goggle. These have a pretty standard fit and include a nice goggle bag. Would be nice if these came with a spare lens like my Dragons did.
"Thin, but good" 4/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Pla Anachrom Fitted TShirt Men's
  • Pros:  Good shape,
  • Description:  Just right, slim fit

Experience:   This shirt is made from pretty lightweight material. The fit is good, not too slim. Medium fits like a medium should. Has a small graphic on the back shoulder as well.
"Nice material" 4/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: 2010 DC Auli Bandana Men's
  • Pros:  Nice material,
  • Cons:  no velcro on ends,

Experience:   This is a good looking bandana made from nice materials. The ends tie together - would be better if there was velcro to hold in place.
"Runs a little big" 4/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Element Silverlake VNeck TShirt Men's
  • Pros:  nice material,
  • Cons:  a little big,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  half a size too big

Experience:   This is a nice plain shirt, although it is a little bigger than i thought it would be for a medium. Comfy though.
"Great Bag" 4/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Gig Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Roomy, Good padding ,

Experience:   The great thing about this bag is that you don't need to order a really long bag in order to be able to fit other stuff in it besides your board. This bag is roomier around the middle, so it will fit your board with the bindings attached and other stuff stashed in the main compartment. The padding is just right - not too bulky. Great bag overall.
"Top kids board" 8/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Rome Label Snowboard Boy's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  High Speeds
  • Pros:  Good flex for kids, nice stable ride, Great graphics

Experience:   I got this for my 9 year old son who love sit. I got him one a bit too big so he can grow into it, but it is still maneuverable enough and great for powder days. The board is nice and durable too. Overall a nice pick up.
"Sweet Deal" 6/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Analog Subsystem Crew
  • Pros:  Great style, Good fit,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   This is not a thick fleecy sweatshirt, but a nice medium weight material that is not real warm, but perfect for Autumn and Spring. Nice understated style, looks mature without being too fuddy. Wish it was still in stock

  • Cons:  Could be more comfortable,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11

  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  A bit too big - large would be close to 38 inch waist

Experience:   These are good basic pants, not as nice styling as some other Burton pants, but good fit apart from waist which seems a bit too big. Pants are baggy without being too baggy.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag

Experience:   Bought after getting some good advice in store, plus sweet combo of Angry Artist colours with my board. I wear size 11 Burton boots and there is still some extra width, not not too much so that the cap straps can't keep me in position.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Poacher Youth
  • Pros:  Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  CHEST: Feels too big, BODY: Feels too long, INSEAM: Feels too long,

Experience:   Great jacket, perfect match for Burton boys cargo pants. My son is a pretty skinny 8 year old, so the jacket is pretty long and baggy, but he will grow into it (much better than too small). Great features and fantastic Sierra price!

  • Name: 2009 Burton Cargo Youth
  • Pros:  Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  LEG: Relaxed, WAIST: Feels too big, INSEAM: Feels too long,

Experience:   My son is stoked with these pants. Got the in Green and they look great (plus it helps me see where he is on the mountain). Nice features, works a treat with a Burton jacket as the pants and jacket zip and snap together. These pants run a bit big - medium size on my pretty skinny 8 year old son.
