"Burton T6 Review" 5/4/2009
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton T6
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Powder
  • Pros:  lightweight, Easy to carve, Stable at high speeds, Stiff
  • Cons:  Top sheet scratches

Experience:   The first board I've ever owned and it is excellent. Super fast, super light, super stiff.
"Great Backpack" 6/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton AK 15L
  • Pros:  Tough, Comfortable, Light
  • Cons:  Not really waterproof, Bit small,

Experience:   Great backpack from Burton. I bought this and use it everytime I ride. Has a pocket for your hydration bladder and a place to clip it on your shoulder so it doesn't move. Doesn't stop it from freezing up though haha. With this bag, it is a bit tight if you put a few things in, but then again you gotta realise that if you're buying a 15L bag. Get a larger bag if you plan on carrying more than an extra piece of clothing, gloves, drink etc. My only issue is that it isn't really waterproof. I had a hydration bladder pop when I fell and landed on my back and the water just started leaking out in other sections of the back and then out the bottom of the bag all over the back of my jacket and pants.
"Super helmet" 6/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Giro G10
  • Pros:  Good fit, Warm,

Experience:   Super helmet. Fits my funny shaped head perfectly. Tried on some other helmets and I could feel them press in on the corners of my skull but this one is really good. It's really good for a cold day as well because they keep your head nice and warm and if it's a bit warm, just open up the vents. It's saved my skull a couple times already.
"Love it" 6/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Ak Expedition Thermal Top Men's
  • Pros:  Super Warm, Moisture Wicking, Good fit
  • Cons:  Too warm for a sunny day,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   Love it. Bought it with the AK Expedition Bottoms last year and they keep you soooo toasty. The only problem is that if the weather changes during the day from cold/windy to a sunny one it gets a bit toast, but then you just open the zip at the front to let the air in and usually it's pretty good.

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Archers New Era
  • Pros:  Looks great, Feels great, Good price
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   Nothing wrong at all with this cap. Bought the white one and the blue highlights on the edges makes it looks even sweeter.
"Great Price" 6/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Profile
  • Pros:  Great product, Great price,

Experience:   Awesome glove for an awesome price. Highly recommended. Keep your hands dry, keeps your hands warm. Gets a bit too toasty though if its a sunny day.
"Bandana" 6/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Get Rad Bandana
  • Pros:  Looks cool,
  • Cons:  Just a standard bandana,

Experience:   Looks cool but not functional if it's wet or snowing. Tried wearing this during a snowstorm and it makes you fail at breathing. Had to take it off in the end and just suck up the cold weather.
"Good investment" 6/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Key Lock
  • Pros:  Good investment, Deters thieves,
  • Cons:  Not really 100% secure,

Experience:   I would recommend if you got a stick that you want to protect from thieves get this. It's not really strong enough to stop the determined thief but you can't exactly carry around a lock that would be like 3 inches thick and stop a bolt cutter. It's not practical. The point of this lock is that it'll deter thieves from trying to steal your board because they can't be bothered. They're just going to steal the board next to yours that's unlocked.
"Looks great but not sticky" 6/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Cross Studs
  • Pros:  Looks great,
  • Cons:  Not enough glue,

Experience:   Applied them properly to the board and I love the look but they feel a bit loose and you can tell if you kick it the wrong way they'll just come off.
"Awesome" 6/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Giro G10 Wireless Audio Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Wireless, Comfortable, Easy to use
  • Cons:  Not the best sound quality,

Experience:   I bought these headphones in addition to a Giro helmet and it's been the best investment ever. I love listening to music whilst I ride and this is the best way. You can change song, pause, play, change volume all with your fat snowboard gloves on. You can even make calls if your phone allows voice dialing. The only issue is that the sound quality isn't the best, but if your phone or music player has an equalizer on it then just boost up the bass and it sounds pretty good.
"Burton Freestyle" 6/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Bit too soft,
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   It's an average boot but you get what you pay for. It's comfortable and good for the wider foot but a bit too flexy for my riding style. I like to ride hard and fast and I found that this boot just wasn't really giving me the support that I needed. Probably good if you're mainly riding park, but if you want to go all mountain or freeriding, get a stiffer boot.
"Love these pants!" 6/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton AK 2L Cyclic
  • Pros:  Looks great, Feels great, Totally water/wind proof
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Excellent

Experience:   Really nice pants. Bought them and don't think I'd ever want to change them. Works perfectly with Burton AK jackets with the link-zip to jacket interface. Nothing gets in.
"T6" 6/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton T-6
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Stiff, Fast, Light
  • Cons:  Not easy for buttering because of the stiffness,

Experience:   Beautiful board. It's really light and goes like stink. Changes edges beautifully, rides fast and rides smooth. The only thing you need to realise is that if you want to do a lot of buttering or flat land, this is not the board for you. It can be done, but requires alot more effort.
"Love it" 6/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton AK 2L Cyclic
  • Pros:  Tough, 100% wind/water proof,
  • Cons:  No mesh on the pit zips,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Good

Experience:   Really nice jacket. Bought one of these and don't regret it for a second. They don't let any wind or water in at all. It just beads right off and you shake it dry. Just remember that it doesn't have any insulation whatsoever so you're going to need some internal layers on a cold day. The only problem with it is the lack of mesh on the pit zips....kinda lets in a lot of snow if you stack whilst they're open.
"Love Burton Socks" 6/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Buffer
  • Pros:  Perfect fit, Not too bulky,
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect

Experience:   Love these Burton socks. Bought them after using normal socks and they made so much difference. I could literally take the sock off after a full day's snowboarding and breath through them...weren't even damp.
"Sweet helmet" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Giro G10 Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Strong, Light, Comfortable

Experience:   Excellent helmet. It's strong, light and comfortable. Love the adjustable air vents. Keeps you cool when you're riding hard and you can close them up when you're on the chair lift and it's getting a bit chilly.
"Unbelievable" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton AK 3L Hover
  • Pros:  100% waterproof, Looks awesome, Tough
  • Cons:  wtfbbq no snow guard mesh in the vents,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   I bought these last year and they are by far some of the best performing pants I've bought. 100% waterproof and extremely tough. They look great too. The only gripe I have is with the lack of snow guard mesh in the vents. If you fall over with your vents open, expect to get alot of snow in your pants....
"Sweet graphics" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Jeremy Jones
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Jumps,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Sweet graphics,

Experience:   Not a bad performing board. I like the graphics on it though. One of the best looking boards from burton.
"Comfortable" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Grail
  • Pros:  Good balance, Comfortable,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   Very comfortable boot. Good balance of stiffness/flex for park or all mountain riding. I prefer something with speedzone laces though but it's personal preference.
"Good" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ruler
  • Pros:  Pretty good responsiveness, Speedzone laces,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   Pretty good boot. Decent responsiveness, not too soft and convenient with its speedzones.
"Decent" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Moto
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Speedzone laces,
  • Cons:  Too soft,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   Decent boot, comfortable and with speedzone laces it's convenient. However I found that it has too much flex for my liking. Good for a beginner, not good if you want response.
"Decent" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom
  • Pros:  Cheap,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Decent cheap binding that I paired up with my park board. Forgiving flex so good for park but not so good for free riding.
