"Fun board" 10/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 K2 WWW Rocker
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Soft, Great on jibs, Durable Base
  • Cons:  Shaky at high speeds,

Experience:   First thing, this board lasts a long time even though you jib rocks etc. It's great learning new tricks on rails and boxes but not as stable on bigger jumps and high speeds. When i compared this with my sierrascope, the only difference was that this board was more controlled on jibs. it had less pop than an FK RC and was less stable. overall, fun board though.
"Comfortable straps" 10/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Mission EST
  • Pros:  Comfortable straps, only model with traditional toe strap, lightweight
  • Cons:  not as responsive,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   great bindings for the park. when compared with the union contacts, these perform a lot better and are a lot more versatile. there's not much you can complain about these. they are flexible enough for the park but has enough torsional stiffness for carving. they're also lightweight and the straps esp the toe cap are very comfy.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Blunt
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Fun, Flexy, Cheap

Experience:   This board is a real fun board if you're not too serious and just wanna cruise down the park and mountain having fun with friends. Found that it was unstable at high speeds but killed it on rails and also did well on jumps. It's a great beginners board as well, and if you're planning to progress in the park, this is your board.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom V-Rocker
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Carving,Groomers,High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  Fun, Was fast on groomers, Good in pow
  • Cons:  Shaky on ungroomed,

Experience:   Tried this board with some missions est. Board was really fun to ride down groomers and u can play around and butter easily compared with camber boards. what i was suprised was that it performed poorly on chop and icy conditions. i'd always wash out. some of capita's freestyle boards were better in those conditions.

  • Name: 2010 Burton The Hero Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Halfpipe,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Flex, Price,
  • Cons:  Shaky at high speeds,

Experience:   This is a great board to use on jibs and smaller parks in the park. the flex is soft compared to other burton boards but not too soft compared with other park boards. I used this on rails, boxes and smaller jumpst under 30ft and it performed well. I didn't like the V-rocker comapred to capita's FK because i felt that the nose was digging in when i was cruising around. But other than that. its a great board to muck around and learn some new things on rails and off kickers

  • Pros:  reduces pain, can ride all day,

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Cool Tool
  • Pros:  Convenient, Strong,

Experience:   Great screwdriver that is as strong as the bigger screwdrivers you find on the hill. Its really handy and its small so its great to take it with you when you travel. For most snowboard/bindings you only need on the of screw heads they provide you with. IT can be used for anything that requires a scredriver

  • Name: 2007 Forum First Chair 24Pk
  • Pros:  24 stickers for $1, Good Motto,

"Great Bandana" 9/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Get Rad Bandana
  • Pros:  $1,
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   Good Bandana that does what every other bandana does. . I didn't like all the other designs as they were a bit too colourful so I got the purple one. In fact, I got 10 of them cos they were so cheap!
"Great Beginner board" 9/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra V Spot Snowboard
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Chop,Groomers,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  No Fuss Beginner Board,
  • Cons:  Graphics (may be a Pro for some),

Experience:   I bought this board for my gf this winter. it was pretty much her 2nd time on a board and she found the board a lot easier to learn on; probably because it was a reverse camber opposed to the camber Burton LTR board she hired. It was more catch-free and she was able to progress much faster and somewhat keepup with the rest of the group after a while. I'm sure it would perform well in the park as well due to the soft-medium flex. Great versatile board!
"Awesome Luggage" 9/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Split Roller Small Travel Bag Men's
  • Pros:  Sturdy, Looks Great, Durable

Experience:   The Luggage is big but not too big. just the right size IMO. Its got enough space to fit more than a weeks worth of clothes + snow gear as well. It's got a lot of compartments where you can sort your stuff and stay organized. Great compliment to your board bag.
"Cute mittens" 8/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  Waterproof, Cute, the goggle wipe
  • Cons:  hard to put on,

Experience:   Great mittens that gets the job done. good waterproofing and keeps my hands warm. only problem is that if you take your hands out to use a phone and they get wet, the mitten stays wet inside.
"Great Vaule" 8/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Achilles Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Cheap, gets the job done, good for spring days
  • Cons:  too thin for those cold days,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   for $40, you can't go wrong with these pants. they're best suited to those warmer spring days but could probably be used on those colder days if you used thermals. they latte colour looks great,, and suits a lot of jacket colours. i've got no complaints
"Quality" 8/4/2010

  • Name: 2009 Gravis Lowdown "The Hudreds" Blackbox

"Gets the job done" 8/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Premium Tech Shirt
  • Pros:  Warm, looks great,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy

Experience:   Thermal top keeps you really warm. what i don't like about it is that its not as breathable as other thermals i've worn and you can feel the sweat when wearing it on a spring day. could have just been the day though
"Awesome Jacket" 8/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Quiksilver Travis Rice Snowboard Shell Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Really Waterproof, Looks Great
  • Cons:  Sleeve area gets wet ,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Fits great with a little extra length

Experience:   Though i listed that the jacket is a little big. it looks great when baggy. it makes you look a lot slimmer than a many jackets i've worn in the past. it lives up to its 20k waterproofing property as you dont get wet all day. i wore this with just a thermal top in spring like conditions and it was really warm. so warm that i wanted to take it off so i'd assume its great for those cold days. Overall, really happy with the jacket and can't wait to use it in colder climates like japan. and the colourway is awesome as well.
"Best progression board" 7/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Capita Sierrascope FK
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Park,Powder,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Holds a good edge , nice flex, not only a freestyle board
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   Was a bit skeptical about buying this board. especially a 156 because for my height, it is rather large. I'm 5'7 170lbs. After riding the board for the first time, i got gave away/sold all the other boards in my quiver. This board can hold a good edge on groomers even on ice without chatter. What it really excels in is the freestyle progression. the first day on this board, i learnt how to frontslide board slide, 50-50 down rails and boardslide the rainbow. I was amazed and will prob stick to capita for a while unless i demo something better. And also. this board makes it a lot easier to ride switch.
"Whats the Problem?" 7/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Cross Studs
  • Pros:  Look good, stick well, clear instructions (FOLLOW THEM!), Cheap
  • Cons:  None!,

Experience:   I installed these on my Sierra Reverse Crew, and they have stuck like superglue. I bought a set of othe rstomp pads due to the bad reviews but turns out i wont need them coz those reviewers mustn't have followed the instructions! Great lookin stomp pads that work a treat and at a cheap price, couldnt ask for more really!
"Great Boots" 7/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Hail
  • Pros:  Comfy , Durable, Great Design
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   wore these with my union datas and they fit really well with the convertible toe straps. never slips off. i didn't get these heat molded as i bought em online so the first day or so was very painful. however, they molded after a while and they felt really comfortable. they do well carving but where it really excels is in the park. they really help your landing. the air sole makes landings noticeably softer. definitely a great buy and a keeper for a a few seasons.
"Sierra Stunt" 6/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Stunt Wide Snowboard 153
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  Easy to control, Durable base, graphics

Experience:   Had my first day on the stunt and loved the playfulness and the flex on the board. i sized down and got the 147 to use on boxes and rails and such. it was very easy control compared to passed cambered boards i used. has great control going on boxes and rails and didn't have any problems locking on. It's a great board for progression. only con is that it isn't so good at high speeds but that was more so contributed to the smaller size than the board itself.
"Day Hiker 20L" 6/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Day Hiker 20L
  • Pros:  Compact, Waterproof, Lightweight

Experience:   This is an awesome versatile backpack. i wear it to Uni, take it to soccer and on the mountain. it's the perfect size to take on the mountain because its not too big or bulky, but big enough to fit all your essentials.
"Good sized" 6/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine Mountain Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Good sized, sticks to board,

Experience:   When looking at the picture on the site, i thought the stomp pads would be small so i bought 2 packs. in reality, they are actually larger than they look so 2 would get the job done. if you follow the instructions, they will stick well to your board well and look great. i go the black and green one and they go well with a burton blunt. my mate got the white ones which look cool with the stunt. best stomp pads on the site at the moment
"Convenient & Lightweight " 6/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Overhead Travel Bag Men's
  • Pros:  Lightweight , Low profile,
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   Great Carry on bag for Australian airline restrictions. the bag only weighs a mere 2kgs which means you can cram another 8kg of it to stay on par with the 10kg restrictions of most airlines. Took a punt and got the premier black colourway which isn't in the pictures and it payed off. it looks alot better than all the other versions on the site. I can fit a pair of boots(8), jacket, pants, thermals, gloves and goggles all in this bag with room to pack a few small items. Excellent simple carry on.

"Anon EagleHawk Goggles BLACK/BLACK" 5/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Anon Hawkeye Painted
  • Pros:  Awesome goggles, Fit, Black Lense
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   These goggles are the bomb! get them in the black/black colorway and i cant express how cool they look. Straping is suitable for my smith holt helmet and the fit is very snug as well despite the previous reviews?
"A bit baggy" 5/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Special Blend Division
  • Pros:  Warm, Has Vents,
  • Cons:  Baggy,
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy

Experience:   I'm 5'7 165 and these fit a bit baggy and a bit long. i'm normally a 32 and the waist fit fine, just that it's a bit long and after a while the bottom of the pants started ripping. goes well with other special blend products as you can zip up the powder skirt and they're pretty warm as well. i didn't wear them with any thermals in japanese conditions and they kept me warm all day.
"Great Value" 5/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Lifty RLS
  • Pros:  Warm, comes with a removable liner, Never gets wet
  • Cons:  None,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  True to size

Experience:   I used this jacket in Japanese conditions that were around -10 celcius. I could fit a tech tee and a thermal top in the jacket and this kept me warm riding down the hill. I'm 57 165 and this jacket fits just about right. i've tried on mediums from other companies that seem to be too large for me (ie:analog). overall great jacket that comes with a pretty cool removable liner.
"Awesome all round bindings" 5/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Union Data
  • Pros:  comfortable straps, durable,
  • Cons:  screws comes loose,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   you never feel these bindings when you have em on because the straps are so soft and comfortable. i rode this in the park and all over the mountain and it did fine in all types of riding. the only complaint i have is that the screws for the toe or ankle strap comes loose sometimes so you always have to tighten them every day or two. The camo pattern looks awesome as well. I've used them for 20+ days and it has held up well except for one of the ratchets that's not as efficient as the others, but still works fine.
"Awesome park board with the lot" 5/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Nitro T1
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds,Park,Powder,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Not just a park board, durable topsheet,
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   I used this board in park, groomers, and powder and did surprisingly well in all those conditions. it's a directional twin so the head sits up in powder if you adjust the bindings right and it can fly down groomers at high speeds with minimal chatter. it's a mid flex board so it's pretty forgiving on jumps. i'm pretty new to the park and this board helped me with landings.
"sturdy scraper" 5/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  Does its job,

Experience:   itsa sturdy scraper that doesnt break. I didn't expect something that covers the whole snowboard. i don't know why everyone else did. its great on the tip and tail of your boards and also the edges.
"Great Jacket" 5/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton System
  • Pros:  Good Price, Warm, Awesome material
  • Cons:  Liner doesnt zip up,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  True to Size

Experience:   I'm 57 and 165lbs and I my size is between a small and medium. This jackets true to size as it fits a little to the small side. I got this last year and rode it in Australian spring conditions and thought it was too warm for it. Only complaint is that the liner doesn't zip up to the jacket so its a hassle trying to put the powder skirt on with the liner. If you're looking for a quality jacket with a removable liner, you should look at other brands first like special blend.

Im 5'7 and length wise, they're great. a bit on the long side but it doesnt matter because it wont drag when im wearing my boots. i forgot to mention that these pants are very warm.
