"Method...really?" 7/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (5) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Method
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  its a snowboard,
  • Cons:  a tad pricey,

Experience:   Is this board even necessary, it seems like it would be THE super board but nobody seems to buy it or use it. Burton put so much into it thinking it would be the ultimate quiver killer but it hasn't even killed anything other than wallet size. Somebody please show me the real potential of this board on the slopes. Also I'm so confused i don't even know what to rate the board, Sierra you need a new rating called IDK
"mini stud belt" 7/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: 2009 686 Mini Stud Snow Womens Toolbelt
  • Pros:  cool design,
  • Cons:  girly studs,

Experience:   looks like a cool belt. id pick one up if it wasnt for the girly studs and weird cursive print...bit then it would just look like a normal leather belt.
"malavitas" 9/25/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  cap strap, comfortable,
  • Cons:  colors,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I rode these for the past season and the gigantic cap strap is the best feature. It pushes your heel back and keeps it there which translates to more control and board feel. The also gigantic upper strap disperses the force over your boot so you hardly feel that either. The est system is great for customizability but I think that because it only uses 2 bolts you have to check them once or twice a day because they tend to loosen more than the normal 3 or 4 bolts systems.
"process of progression" 9/25/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Process Snowboard
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  smoooth ride, tons of adjustment with the channel, pop
  • Cons:  ehhh graphics,

Experience:   After riding the board for a season it is clear that it can go anywhere on the mountain. Granted a skate banana and a fish will be better in the park and the pow respectively but if you can only have one board the burton process isnt a bad one to have. It is clear by how many team riders use the process that it is good enough for the pros but can still be rocked by everyone else. With the channel i can rock any stance I want and change it up whenever i need to set it back for float in the pow or keep in even for switch riding. The pop is great but its a little hard for me 5'7 135lbs to hold a long press with the 152 i have. Still a great all around board that is sure to step up your riding.
"Burton Mission" 11/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Mission
  • Pros:  durability, feel,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I have had these bindings for 4 years and they just won't die. The ratchets still tug like new and the only signs of wear are some fraying on the capstrap and the highback foam. I have to say I will never ride a bindings without a capstrap. It keeps your foot locked in all day and its the most comfortable fit out of any binding I've tried. If my 2007's are good I can only imagine what the 2012's must be like.
"strong shorts" 8/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Snapper
  • Pros:  durable,

Experience:   these shorts hold up super well to all the abuse i throw at them from the park to everyday chillin.
"cool shirt" 8/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Hawke S/S TShirt
  • Pros:  light, soft,
  • Cons:  pricey,

Experience:   cool design and has a really good fit. its somewhat expensive for just a t-shirt though
"THE present" 8/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: 2020 E- Gift Certificate
  • Pros:  easy, imaginative,

Experience:   If you know somebody is in the market for snowboard equipment, then the sierra giftcard is perfect. Sierra has the lowest prices and one of the biggest selections of snow gear on the net. A gift card opens the door to some gnar shopping.
"sandals" 8/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis A-Bah
  • Pros:  cheap,
  • Cons:  cheap,

Experience:   These sandals are good and for $5 you can buy a bunch even if they don't last as long. Cool designs too.
"boarding shorts" 8/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Volcom Dusty Mod
  • Pros:  cool loking,
  • Cons:  fit?,

"grenades" 8/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Grenade Grenade Team Cc935
  • Pros:  cool lokking,
  • Cons:  not too warm,

Experience:   These are great for spring park laps but not really for blizzard conditions.
"bandanna maddness" 8/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Struggle Bandana
  • Pros:  colorful, cheap,
  • Cons:  thin,

Experience:   bandannas are to snowboarders as white poodles are to skinny rich girls - they are wonderful accessories and for $4 why not buy them all. If you suffer from multiple types of face burn: snow, sun, wind, then this may help.
"super skis" 8/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2010 K2 Darkside
  • Pros:  fast, good edge hold,
  • Cons:  unknown,

Experience:   these skis look sweet and although looks aren't everything they mean something to me, also they probably ride sweet too, ive got to demo them one day and see for myself
"cool socks" 8/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Euro Board Zone
  • Pros:  warm,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  good match to the contour of my foot

Experience:   feel great and keep your feet warm, as far as socks go they seem to be good quality and have lasted a full season and should go even longer.
"Spy Zed" 6/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Spy Zed
  • Pros:  flexible, comfortable,

Experience:   the spy zed is a great pair of goggles, they are super comfy and come with great lenses, mine came with a mirror day lens and a night persimmon one, it is very easy to change them out so you'll never get watering eyes while speeding down the doubles
"Solid boot" 6/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Tribute
  • Pros:  warm, well padded,
  • Cons:  hard, stiff,
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   The Burton tribute is a pretty good boot, Ive worn it for 3 seasons and haven't broken my ankles yet so its a success for me, wouldn't recommend for the buttery folk because it is quite tall and doesn't flex too well.
"Burton Elite" 6/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Elite
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed
  • Pros:  forgiving, solid pop,
  • Cons:  slow, stiff,

Experience:   i have ridden the elite for 3 seasons and it has treated me well as a beginner board. very tiff, so buttering is hard but what it lacks in flex it makes up for in pop, pretty stable at speed
"Burton Custom Binding" 6/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Custom
  • Pros:  cheap, sturdy, durable
  • Cons:  cheap,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I have been using this binding for 3 seasons and its only got some frays here and there. a great beginner binding but due to the low back its not a great advanced binding
"burton p1.1" 6/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton P1.1
  • Pros:  forms the boot well, good response,
  • Cons:  tight on the big band,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   the Burton p1.1 is a great binding, however i would wait until the 2011 cartel because it will have the p1.1 back but with the est system integrated, although if you are riding a 3x or 8x hole design than pick one of the p1.1's now

  • Skill:  Intermediate
