"Good pair of socks" 11/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Emblem
  • Pros:  Good padding, Moisture wicking,
  • Cons:  A little tight on calf,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Pretty good around my feet, a little tight on my calf

Experience:   These are a pretty good pair of socks. Good cushion around the toes and heels. My only complaint is that having them pulled all the way up, the cuff is really tight around my calf. Not sure if it's just me but the top of the sock wasn't quite stretchy enough and got a little sore on my leg.
"Great bindings" 3/20/2011

  • Name: 2011 Burton Mission EST Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Adjustable, Easy on/off, Good padding
  • Cons:  none yet,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I really love these bindings. I've used the Burton Cartel EST before and didn't notice a huge difference except the price. Very adjustable but may take some time to get just right. Toe strap has to be positioned right before cranking down or it may slip. I really like the EST setup. I got the cantbed's with mine and that is great for rocking a wider stance.
"Great!" 3/20/2011

  • Name: 2010 Burton ConDom Snowboard
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds,Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Flexible, Hard to catch Edge, Sweet graphics
  • Cons:  a little unstable at high speeds,

Experience:   Just tried out my board for the first time at Eldora CO. Spent some time all over the mountain. Hit greens, blues, blacks, and some park. Board did pretty well in all areas. Got a little shaky and slid out a few times on some bumpy sections of blacks but did great for buttering around and jibbing boxes. Definitely recommend if you like jibbing/buttering.
"Love these!" 11/28/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Lightweight First Layer Top Men's
  • Pros:  Nice fit, Wicks moisture well, Sweet color patterns
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Just right, not baggy but not overly tight

Experience:   I loved using these things! They helped wick moisture to keep my core warm, and were extremely comfortable. Didn't even feel like I was wearing the extra layer.
"Wouldn't recommend" 11/28/2010

  • Name: 2010 Smith Scope Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Pretty Good Fit, Mirrored Lens,
  • Cons:  FOGGING,

Experience:   These seemed like they were going to be good goggles when I picked them up, but after a couple hours on the slope they started fogging on me. It was pretty annoying to stop halfway through a run to wipe down the inside, plus it made my hands cold to keep taking of my gloves to use my lens wipe. Definitely would not recommend getting these goggles.
"Love this jacket" 1/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Launch
  • Pros:  Awesome colors, Loose fitting, zipper snow skirt
  • Cons:  not too warm,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  It's a little loose which is how I like my jackets.

Experience:   This is a pretty good jacket. I love having a zippered snow skirt, which you don't get without matching burton pants and jacket. It's the main reason I wanted a Burton jacket. I love the color of this jacket and the way it fits. You should layer up underneath because it is a little thin, but it fits loose so that isn't hard to do.
"Awesome boots!" 1/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Hail
  • Pros:  Warm, Comfortable, Sweet colors
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I have the coalition version of these boots and I love them without even taking them onto the slope yet. I recently bought them from my local snowboard shop but I haven't had the chance to take them out to the mountain yet since I live in Oklahoma.. Just from wearing them around here though they are super comfortable and keep your feet very warm. We had a blizzard here the day before I bought them and wearing them out in the snow showed promise. Can't wait to get these on the slopes!
