"BIG upgrade" 7/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Triad
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Boot hold, Durable, Good construction quality, Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand, Popular model, Easy installation
  • Fit:  must be adjusted bigger

Experience:   These were my second pair of bindings and i don't know how i ever rode without them. The B3 gel pad in the back makes a big difference, to me at least, for comfort on impact, the air straps are really snug fitting, and there are no pressure point which is a huge plus. Overall you won't regret buying them.

"Doesn't Get Any Better Than This" 2/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Anon Figment Painted
  • Pros:  soft feel, huge head band, flexible
  • Cons:  peripherals could be better,

Experience:   I absolutely love these goggles, they couldn't fit any better, especially with my RED helmet. They are always clear and they never fog up like my oakley's did. I'm thinking these will be a permanent switch, couldn't be happier.

  • Cons:  None,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  11

"Good Bindings for Cheap" 7/30/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Freestyle
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Durable, Good construction quality, Comfortable, Well known brand, Easy installation
  • Cons:  Heavy, Boot slippage
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   These were my first set of bindings. At the time i really didn't now much about snowboarding but they performed just fine for what i needed. During that same year i quickly figured out I needed something more, mainly something with a cap strap bc I was having slipping problems. Overall these are a great choice for the first time snowboarder.
"Sweet Pants" 7/27/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Field
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, Sleet, Storming and White Out, LEG: Relaxed, WAIST: Feels true to size, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   There has been nothing wrong with these pants for me. They keep me warm with just boxers underneath and they are extremely waterproof. The fleece knees are a great feel and there are so many pockets. the crossflow venting works very well for when it gets too hot and you need to cool off. Overall they are really good pants to be wearing in the snow doing whatever.
"Awesome Goggles " 7/27/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Oakley A Frame-MattteWht/H.I.Persimmon
  • Pros:  These goggles fit perfectly on your face, they don't feel too big or to small. The lens is very clear and makes everything easy to see. The foam that they use is extremely soft, softer than any other goggles that I have tried on.
  • Cons:  Nothing except I let my sister use them one time and she lost them...and they can be expensive at full price.

Experience:   Overall these goggles are great for anyone.
"Gore Tex" 7/24/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: -1 Burton Gore Tex Glove
  • Pros:  They are comfortable and they keep your fingers warm, they are well padded and they have a goggle lens cleaner on the thumbs. They have a zipper pocket on the top part near the knuckles that can also double as a venting system. they are also extremely water proof due to the gore tex.
  • Cons:  Some people my say they are bulky but they don't seem to bother me.

Experience:   Overall these gloves are a great for anyone and I love them.
"A Rolling Closet for Snowboards" 7/24/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine High Roller
  • Pros:  This bag is the biggest bag I have ever used, I absolutely love this bag. You could easily fit a couple of snowboards in it. Another great thing is that I can comfortably fit all the rest of my gear in this bag with room to spare. The whole bag is padded and the wheel system is very sturdy. It is also good for air travel because the material this bag is made of can take a beating.
  • Cons:  It might be too big for some people.

Experience:   I have the black chop shop design and I love it. It's not boring but it's not too flashy and i like that. Also the wheels role really easily. Overall this is one of the best bags.
"Awesome Shirt" 7/24/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Community
  • Pros:  This shirt is great, the shirt quality is very good, and it fits very well. The graphic looks really cool and all of my friends that snowboard want one.
  • Cons:  Nothing could be bad about this shirt.

Experience:   I bought the black one and it came with the blue graphics and the blue color just pops off the shirt, I love it!
"Great Bindings" 7/24/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Cartel
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Durable, Good construction quality, Comfortable, Well known brand, Popular model, Easy installation
  • Cons:  Difficult in & out, Boot slippage
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   These bindings were great for me because they did more than what I needed them to do. They responded well and my boots fit well in them. The only bad thing i would have to say and I'm sure everyone already knows about is the forward lean. It leaned way to much for me even when i had the skyback adjusted all the way back, my calves would just constantly burn. Another thing i figured out was that I bought a size large and i needed a size medium. Anyways if you like a lot of forward lean then these are for you.
"Great for beginners" 7/24/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Burton Hail
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Durable, Traction, Good quality, Waterproofing, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Hard to lace, Difficult in & out
  • Fit:  soft

Experience:   Like I said great for beginners, and thats what i was. When I first got them they seemed stiff to me but as i used them they really softened up and plus I didn't know how stiff boots could really get. They are comfortable and if you add in the j bars that helps keep your heel down. Overall they are good boots.
"Best lens with the best vision" 7/24/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Oakley Wisdom Fire Rplc Lens
  • Pros:  First of all it looks totally cool and second it works the best. it has great vision because it brightens everything in a yellow tint which helps for your eyes to see the snow. It also does not fog up and its easy to clean.
  • Cons:  It can be expensive at full price and it smudges like all Oakley lenses

Experience:   Originally I had the black iridium and it made everything darker and didn't bring out the details in everything so that's why i bought this lens.
"One of the best goggles" 7/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Oakley Wisdom -MatteWht/BlackIridium
  • Pros:  They have great vision, they are extremely comfortable, and they also look good on your face
  • Cons:  The "black" lens looks brown for some reason and it smudges pretty easy but thats Oakley lenses for yeah

Experience:   I know everyone has A frames and i use to have them too but i think that the wisdom goggles are better. the big thing is that they have better vision, you can see more around you and thats important to me.
"One of the best boards out there" 7/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Custom X
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Stiff, Well known brand

Experience:   This board left me speechless, i bought it because i wanted a board that was better than any normal board and something where I could use anywhere, in the park, in the back country, or just carving down the mountain. The response is great and the feel is amazing. I'll ride it until I die.
"Great gloves to add extra warmth" 7/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Powerstretch Liner
  • Pros:  Keeps finger super warm, fits well under normal snow gloves, and grippy on the inside.
  • Cons:  Not water proof and i would recommend not wearing them by themselves for snowboarding

Experience:   I bought these liners after I had just bought some new Burton gloves because on super cold days my fingers would get really cold so i put these under my regular gloves and that did the trick, so i love them.
"Great bag to hold the basics" 7/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  The bag hold the the board well and its good for daily trips.
  • Cons:  Not wide enough because it was hard for me to zip up the bag over the areas of the bindings with the sky backs folded down. Also it was not padded, so to me it wasn't that great for air travel and the storage in the middle was to hold both of your boots i believe, but i could barely fit one. Another con is that there is not enough space to hold all of your gear like your jacket, pants, and stuff like that.

Experience:   This bag worked well when i first got it because i needed one and I didn't know what else was out there. Overall it worked well and it is a good started bag.
"Still feels like new" 7/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Heli Pro-20L Pack
  • Pros:  I have had this backpack for about three years and it still acts as if i got it yesterday. It's just big enough without being too big, lightweight, and the best thing is that Dakine has the best warranty out there, so if it breaks they will replace it.
  • Cons:  There will never be anything wrong with this backpack

Experience:   Dakine always have great graphics too.
"Like they say, it really is a walk in closet" 7/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Wheelie Sub Luggage Bag
  • Pros:  It is a really big bag and can hold pretty much everything you need. I like how it unzips into two compartments so you can easy access your stuff and the "cram it" zones on the inside was a great idea. I couldn't tell you how many times I've stuffed my previous bags and they wouldn't zip up. Overall great bag and cool graphics, mainly to spot it at luggage return at the airport.
  • Cons:  Burton says you could unzip it into two pieces to beat the luggage weight limit but i wouldn't trust the material on the inside to make it through the airport travel.

Experience:   I have the neon camo graphic and everyone asks me where i got it, so its a head turner too.
