  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom
  • Pros:  Light Weight, Price,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Have these on my Burton Se7en and the combination just feels amazingly light under your feet. They have a softer, more forgiving flex to them.
"Buy seven of them!" 10/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Seven Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Buttery, Poppy, Forgving
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   Bought this board back in May and had a chance to use it for 3 days in Mammoth over the summer and I absolutely love it. The board feels so light and has amazing pop to it. Park scoop is very forgiving on jump takeoffs and landings. Great for riding all-mountain as well and handles great at high speeds. Detuned edges help prevent catching an edge on rails and boxes. All around great board. Using with Burton Custom bindings and Burton Shaun White boots.

"Amazing bindings at low price!" 1/10/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Rome S90 Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  cushy, easy adjustments, flexible
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   After using these bindings on my new Sierra stunt for a couple of days I have to say that they are an amazing deal for the price. Packaged with my board, they were only $100. the cab strap on these bindings does an amazing job of holding onto the boot and absolutely will not come lose. The bindings seem very sturdy and durable, yet offer a good amount of flex for the park. The rubber insert on the bottom of the bindings keeps the topsheet of my board looking like new, while offering better edge to edge control and absorbing small vibrations. Everything on the binding is designed to be easy to adjust without tools, however I noticed that the highback adjustment on one bindings kept sliding back up after each run, an easy fix with an allen wrench.
"King of stunts!" 1/10/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Stunt Wide Snowboard 153
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  flexy, graphics,

Experience:   I bought this board bundled with the Rome s90 bindings and I have to say that this board is so fun to ride. I have ridden it 2 days now all over the mountain. I was skeptical at first because of all of the reviews saying that it doesn't work good as an all-mountain board and only excels on flat land tricks and boxes. To all of those who say it is shaky and highly unstable at high speeds, I question whether or not you have actually ridden this board. I was bombing diamonds full speed with my gps consistently giving me speed readings of 50+mph with no speed wobbles at all. I imagine the rubber base of my bindings did good to absorb some of the vibrations, but to get speed wobbles I imagine you have to be doing 60+mph, or be riding really choppy terrain. The board of course is super flexy for buttery tricks and will not catch on boxes or rails, and is very forgiving on jump landings. I have yet to try it in the pow, but will add it to my review when I do.
