Ok, i must say i fell for the fashion/marketing trap and mainly bought this jacket looks nice with my white seth morrison goggles and that its limited edition. Initially, i was very excited in getting this jacket, however once i got it my frist question was where are the pockets? I was expecting to recieve the usual 686 type jacket with a million pockets like my other 686 jacket (most likely my mistake for not reading the specs clearly enough). So no pockets for phone, goggles, lift pass, and no mirror on sleeve. But nevertheless on the slopes, it looked great with my limited edition goggles. The jacket was very waterproof and windproof, and i was able to put on layers underneath the jacket to keep me warm on the chair lifts. Material quality is very good, and very durable, however due to the color dirt just seemed to attach itself onto the jacket. Another pro, was the non sysmetric zip. Previous jackets, on the chair lift on cold days, i would have the zip right up to the top. And that usually irritates my chin and i soon get a rash forming. With this jacket, the zip is no where near my chin which is awesome!
In conclusion, I would not recommend this jacket to others or the other NB x 686 gear, not just because i don't want people wearing the same thing as me, but i believe you will get more value out of buying a 686 smarty jacket instead, where u get a inner liner as well! If you're a fan of 686 i would say be prepared to be disappointed by the limited tech. But if you get chin irritations from symetrical zips or you love the design, go for it.
