"GO 3/4" 4/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Midweight 3/4 Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Love the length, Good fabric,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Standard tight mid-layer

Experience:   DaKine mid-layers are pretty solid. It's not the best fabric for wicking, but the do the job for a great price. These are my new favorites because they are 3/4 length. They don't overlap your socks and bunch up in your boots. Full legnth thermal pants are annoying.
"Great Price - cpl notes" 4/24/2010

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Cool Tool
  • Pros:  small, compact,
  • Cons:  rubber holder for the wrench, not enough holes for the bits,

Experience:   This is a decent tool, it works fine and is pretty cheap. There are a couple design characteristics that I didn't like. The wrench is held on to the top by a rubber holder. It sticks out and hangs on the main body (but is removable). It also comes with a bit in the head. The bit holders in the handle are full, therefore you always have to keep a bit in the head when storing / carrying it if you want the full set. Figured I would pass this info along.
"Stock Up" 4/23/2010

  • Name: 2009 Analog Legend Flexfit
  • Pros:  Cheap, Simple,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  7 1/2 = L/XL

Experience:   If you're like me and like white hats, here is your chance to stock up. These fit true to flex fit - I wear a 7 1/2 in fitted New Era sizing and I can rock S/M with a curved bill or L/XL if you like a flat brim. I was impressed with the quality. I bought a bunch of Analog when it went to 70% and these hats are probably the most well made of any item. Buy some, one long night or hard day and hats gets ruined.
"Only worth a buck" 4/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Get Rad Bandana
  • Pros:  Cheap,
  • Cons:  Cheap,

Experience:   Very very thin and if you tie it in a knot, it will never be the same. Mine got all stretched out and whacky after 1 day. For a buck you can get a bunch and rock a new one every day. Overall a good value.
"Great Board" 4/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra V Spot Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Hard to catch an edge, Buttery,
  • Cons:  Not alot of pop,

Experience:   I got one of these out of the forum for my girl. She is a park rat and rides her boards hard. She came into it from a mens Ride Kink and says that reverse camber makes landing over/under spins much easier. It tougher to catch an edge and overall a much more forgiving ride. It's a pretty soft deck, you give up some pop for some butter, but you can't have it all. A great deck from the sierra lineup!
"AK for life" 4/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton AK 2L Cyclic
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Ultra Waterproof,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Great Fit

Experience:   AK 2L keeps you very dry and blocks a great deal of wind. The fit is true and seems legit to me. Good zippers and overall exactly what you should expect from the AK line. This stuff is built to last.
"All Mountain Terror" 4/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton C60
  • Pros:  Super Stiff, Very responsive, Ultra Light
  • Cons:  The most expensive binder out there,

Experience:   If you like a crazy stiff, super light, ultra responsive binder; this may be the one for you. They are quite possible the most expensive binding on the market, so... ya... there is that. Great feel if you can handle it. It's so stiff that you will have dooky stance on jibs.
"Good Gog for the Money" 4/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dragon DX Goggles
  • Pros:  Cheap, Don't Fog Too Bad,
  • Cons:  Thin lens,

Experience:   The DX is the lower line model. The price point is great and these goggles are good for smaller faces. In my opinion, this is the only true unisex frame. If you want something cheap for a backup pair, or for the girlfriend, hook it up. Otherwise go with the Mace.
"Kinda Rubbery" 4/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Check Splash
  • Pros:  Cool raise logo, Good Quality,
  • Cons:  Rubberish,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Fits true

Experience:   I liked the print and logo so picked one up. You should know that this hat has a glossy, kind of rubbery finish. It's... well... special. T.Kennedy special.

"Good Buy" 4/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Pilot
  • Pros:  Simple, Good size for riding,

Experience:   This pack is just the right size for riding. It fits a shovel fine and isn't too bulky. Overall, a good buy.
"Bomb-diggity" 4/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Split Roller Large
  • Pros:  Great Storage Compartments, Water Proof Boot Holder, Strong Zippers

Experience:   This bag is legit! It has a number of different sized compartments, a strong exo-skele, good wheels, nice pull handle. Get you one!
"A bit tight" 4/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Baker
  • Pros:  Nice plaid print, Good colors,
  • Cons:  Fit small,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Grab a size up

Experience:   I like the print and the color but they fit a bit small. I would recommend sizing up if you like a looser fit.
"The Yellow is Dopeness" 4/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Marley
  • Pros:  Nice print inside, Awesome colors,
  • Cons:  Pretty thin material,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Great fit - just below the knees

Experience:   The yellow is pretty crazy, but it screams summer summer summer time. They are a little shorter than the other Analog shorts I got, but are still fitted right to my knees. A great buy, hook em up.
"Great Deal" 4/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Moreno
  • Pros:  Great Price at 70%, Good Fit, Nice pattern inside
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Just past the knee

Experience:   The material is pretty thin, but it breathes well. The cut is good if you like shorts that come down past the knee. The contruction seems pretty inexpensive, but at a discounted price they are well worth it.
"Coolio T" 4/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Sierra Headphones TShirt Men's
  • Pros:  Cool asymetrical logo, Support POW,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Standard T - a bit short

Experience:   Protect Our Winters - this ss tee has a cool logo, it's better quality than the analog stuff, and proceeds help POW. Get yourself one. I should note, it feels a little short. It probably won't be a problem unless you have a freakishly long torso.
"Nice Softy" 4/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Suburban Softshell
  • Pros:  Water proof, Great Fit,
  • Cons:  Not a lot of tech,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Hoody fit

Experience:   This softshell is great for spring or early season riding. My friend picked one up and I had to follow suit after seeing his. There isn't alot going on techwise... pockets and such, but it's simple, stylie, and a great piece over all.
"Steeze, yes please." 4/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Idiom Continuum 2.5L Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Lightwieght, Waterproof,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Normal

Experience:   This is a great shell. The green is super vibrant and I like it. Buy it on sale, nothing is worth what Burton tries to get for these retail.
"Don't bother" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Commander
  • Pros:  They fit nice and look good,
  • Cons:  They suck and are super cheapy material,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Good fit

Experience:   The fit is great, lots of pockets, but that actual outer fabric is cheap. I ate it on the ice and it burned right through. These pants suck. Get some Burton AK and then you never have to shop again.
"Get your tissue, these are sick..." 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton AK 3L Hover
  • Pros:  Indestructable,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Baggy Shell - Great Fit

Experience:   These pants are like a damn tarp. I went through about 3 pairs of Special Blend crap this year then I decided to spend the dough and get some AK. I'm NEVER GOING BACK!!!!
"Solid Binding" 8/13/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Cartel 2009
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Lightweight, Well known brand, Popular model
  • Cons:  Boot slippage
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   A great lightweight binding. The toecap from the prior year is better. The new one has a tendency to shift on you. Other than that, these are very responsive and super quick edge to edge.
"Palmer Honeycomb 4 - All Mountain RIpper" 8/13/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer Honeycomb 4
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Powder
  • Pros:  lightweight, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Stiff

Experience:   The PH4 is a fast, stable, all-mountain burner. It's very fast edge to edge with Palmer's FLF technology. It's super light, easy to spin, and has nice pop off of medium kickers. Overall, two thumbs up - I can't see a vapor or T6 being too much better. + at a close out price it's a screamer.
