"My favourite boots" 12/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Ruler Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Comfy, Quick Lacing system, Feels good when rididing/Great control
  • Cons:  none rly, I seldom tuck in speed laces improperly(my fault),
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I love these boots! I have always loved burton boots as they have a narrower feel, they arent narrow on the foot really just the boot feels narrower in the binding which is good. I have used 2 pairs of burtons, 1 pair of dcs, and one pair of 5150s. The 5150s were too cheap. I had a pair of tributes which were great! than i moved to dcs which were way to wide feeling, i had to be moving to have any control in them, sucked for butters, ground tricking, spinning, but surprisly i felt sturdy as hell on rails, i felt like weights on my feet. But both burtons ive had were great. These boots have speed laces which are GREAT, fast and tighten to better tightness as wanted. I have great control in them whether jibbing or bombing hills, and their super comfy. After i got rid of my DC's and threw on my rulers it just felt right.
"Love it" 11/5/2010

  • Name: 2011 Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Fun/Great in park, Good grip on icy days, Ride anywhere
  • Cons:  If at very high speed, a tiny bit unstable,

Experience:   This is the best board i have ever owned. First day i rode it, i didnt realize how the magna worked till i turned on an icy patch and still caught pretty well. I love the reverse camber on this board, it is great for boxes and rails and has a great feel. Nice having lift from the snow. I also liked the flex. It is flexy, but its not a noodle which i liked. My friend owns a nitro which is much flexier, i tried it and i much rather this in park even tho its less flexy. It definetly gives enough flex to have fun, but is stiff enough to be able to ride anywhere. Although it is a bit unstable at very high speeds, if u spend the day in the park like me u wont have any trouble. And its not like every time you go fast it does it. Its just pretty much when ur tucking down a double black is the only times ive felt a bit unstable. Was sketchy cuz i wobbled a bit, and imediately thought, hey i could easily die if i fall right now at this speed. But it was kinda fun to be honest feeling a bit wobbly going so fast as nuts as i sound. But maybe i get a bit more speed with mine cuz im smaller(only about 135 pounds) or just thats the only bad thing people have to say about this board, so it comes out alot worse. But overall i can still go fast enough to have fun and race buds down hills for jokes, and ofc its great in the park. Fun Board!
"Electric EG2!!! Great Goggles" 7/25/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Electric EG2 Goggles Cyan Bronze/Silver Chrome Lens
  • Pros:  comfortably fitting, Very large peripheral view, Stylish
  • Cons:  BIG!!!(have to lean back helmet a bit),

Experience:   I was worries about these goggles being to big for my face, and helmet. But they were worth it. They are extremely stylish, gives you the widest peripheral vision which is great, and are good goggles. The fact I have to lean back my Sandbox a tiny bit to fit em properly is well worth the benefits.
"Great Visual/Power movie" 12/3/2010

  • Name: 2008 Thats It Thats All Travis Rice Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Great spots, Visually great movie, Big Tricks

Experience:   This is a great movie. It gives you alot of cool scenes, spots, and it is shot with alot of background and scenery. I personally liked it because i love big tricks and power snowboardinmg. If your looking for rail jibs this isnt the movie for you. If ur looking for a well made movie with big tricks, tons of powder, huge mountains, and scenery that will stay in your head this is your movie.

  • Name: 2009 Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  Great quality, Block sound from outside, Dont sound loud to others
  • Cons:  THEY BREAK,

Experience:   Skull candys have pretty much always had the same problem in my opinion. They are great quality, but they break ALL THE TIME. They have rly good sound quality and they do a great job blocking out outside noise which adds to quality. They also dont sound loud to others which is nice cuz i can listen to em louder in class etc. I got a warranty so when they break i can get em replaced. But they are great, and i believe u can return em to skull candy at ne time. Great, but they do break mine lasted only a couple months.
"Good Park bindings" 12/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom
  • Pros:  Soft , Good deal for price, durable
  • Cons:  Can feel week on hard landings but i dont mind,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   No idea what crosek is talking about. These boots are extremely forgiving and are more of park-all mountain bindings. I personally dont mind the looser feel when bombing hills or hitting big jumps, it doesnt bother me. But ule be plenty fine on just the regular park jumps, booters, and superpipes etc; i wouldnt use em in a big air comp though if i was in the x-games or something if u know what i mean(but i may actually cuz i dont mind softness and im broke). What i do like is the softness for jibbing, and doing fun stuff in the park. I like em. Toe strap is pretty nice too and everything fits well.
"Oakleys = Great" 11/5/2010

  • Name: 2011 Oakley AFrame Snowboard Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  No Fog at all, Fit snug and comfortable, Look pretty cool
  • Cons:  Didnt fit with my helmet that great,

Experience:   I really like Oakley, i think they are a great company. These goggles i really like too, and are made well. They look great, and the one thing i never got at all with these goggles was fog. When i heard other people complain about fog i would never know what they were complaining so much for, because i had never had fog with these and never knew how annoying it was. Only reason im not using these any more, is because i got the inside wet after a bail, and wiped the lens with a cloth on the inside. Totally messed them up, and can barely see out of em. Never wipe inside of goggles when wet,(wait for em to dry) and only dab with a microfiber when dry. And also because they didnt fit and go with my sandbox helmet too well,(wasnt bad)but i want a different color and style goggle. Overall, i really liked em when i had them tho.
